Stirchley Curry Co in Telford and Wrekin

Absolutely awful experience, under new management so thought I’d give it a try as I normally order from here, but NEVER AGAIN! My order came within 5/10 minutes which I thought was a bit concerning but I do live close by so didn’t pay too much mind to that, then when dishing up my curry it was filled with water! Ordered the chicken tikka masala it was bland and nothing like any chicken tikka I’ve had before! Then was only offered half my money back after fighting for a refund for 30 minutes! AVOID AVOID AVOID

Mrs says Korma was nice, the pickles were also good and naan ok. The special spice Balti was really bad quality though. There was no flavoir whatsoever, no spice, no seasoning just really bland and taste like canned stew, It did not taste fresh at al

Second occasion where cans of coke have been left out of our order. However driver arranged further delivery for the missing drinks.

korma was very oily with little to no taste as well as the naan. Rice and the Barji's were great. chips were soggy.

I got given the wrong curry. I asked for a chicken rogan Josh. And I got some really sweet curry that was 90% tomatoes and I only had 2 bits of chicken in the whole curry. I wasn’t happy

My rice was all blue at the bottom and I had to throw it straight in the bin. The curry was dreadful too. Normally live my good today it wasn’t nice at all!!

The food was absolutely lovely best takeaway we've had in along time .. One minor issue is that it wasn't very hot but I am sure this will be rectified next time we order x

Food was freezing.cild when it arrived and had to be microwaved. Took and hr and a half to be delivered as well. I appreciate they were busy but to then wait that long and everything came cold isnt very good at all. The dahl was swimming in oil.

Order was late, however it is new year's eve so that should definitely be forgiven, Especially as the delivery driver was so apologetic and polite. The food was also good quality.

Order still hasn’t arrived 3 hours post ordering. I understand it’s NYE but don’t accept orders you can’t accommodate!!

whilst I appreciate that we have ordered on new years eve, I didn't expect to have been told 3 different delivery times and for it still not to receive the order. I would have had no issue in the order being cancelled if it was done early enough if they couldn't handle it, but no. Having spoken to someone at the restaurant and being told that it would be leaving in 5 mins and again,still nothing. The lines are constantly busy too, so now I can't get through.

Food was 3 hours late!! Had to go collect our own food which hadn’t even been cooked so had to wait an additional 40 minutes

Taste and textures exactly what I expected. Everything was on point and the extra popodoms a bonus. Prawn Puree was a little oily, would be better fried in ghee, not oil.

the curry was watery and had no flavour added lots of salt and made no difference same with the Bombay potato was also bland and the onions on tikka starter were tough and forgot to put in naan , first and last time ordering

food was horrendous. worst Indian I think I've ever had. 0 flavour in the balti, was like eating chicken pieces in water. nicest part of the meal was the mint sauce. would not order from here again.

Would never hsve a curry out anywhere else but Stirchley Spice. I have to travel 20 mins to it but worth every mile. The greeting, the restraunt the food (omg!) the price. Take your own soft drinks or alchol. Cannot beat Stirchley Spice.

fantastic food not overpriced it arrived hot not the usual tepid temperature we have had from other places. highly recommend the spicy poppadom. even the delivery guy was 5 star. the food itself was truely delicious and the portion sizes are good. go on try em you will not regret it

Been here a few times and also used their takeaway service. Every time the food and the service has been first class. A great place to eat.

Excellent food. Very tasty and loved the meat samosa’s. Best Indian I’ve had in a long time so will definitely be retuning. My only complaint was the rice it wasn’t really Pilau but never mind.
