Delicious food and drink, generous portions and great value. The decor is nice and the team are really lovely. Highly recommended.

Lovely place, excellent food, and plenty of it!

I decided to visit with family who were visiting for the day. The lunch menu is pretty limited, even the popular jacket potatoes are not on. Ploughman’s is £15.50 - it just isn’t good value for money seen as nothing about it was homemade - all supermarket basic quality meat, cheese (the cheap Christmas pack) and basic scotch egg. Yes a bit of balsamic over salad looks fancy but I actually feel annoyed i paid that much for it. I really wish we had some quality places to eat in ironbridge!

We come here often for coffee and their wonderful cakes. Lovely setting, both inside and out in pretty Jackfield with lovely friendly staff. We recently had the full English breakfast which was absolutely delicious. Every single element was quality fresh food, beautifully cooked..from the cherry vine tomatoes and field mushroom to the peppery pork sausages with their winderful sourdough on the side. It quite literally kept us full the whole day! We also recommend the bacon sandwich in seeded sourdough. In an area with many many eateries this is without a doubt our go to place for breakfast and lunch. Highly recommend.

Nice place to visit and eat, not an easy place if you are disabled or in a wheelchair

Had a strange experience here this week. On arrival it was very busy which is usually a good sign, the area and Cafe itself look lovely. The wife and I took up seats inside and were looking for prices on the menu for their coffee and cakes but couldn't find them anywhere. I went and asked and the staff wanted to know what we wanted, I explained that we didn't know yet but wanted to know prices before we order so we know what we're paying. Pretty normal cafe or shop procedure I thought! The staff explained they don't have their coffee prices on their menus but that they're "all about £3.30 and the cakes are all about £3.80" I asked how they operate like that, do they just guess at the time or give different prices to different people? I wouldn't know if I was spending a fiver or 20 quid! Most odd and we ended up walking out without ordering as it just seemed a bit chaotic and disorganised. I don't think I've ever been to a cafe/coffee shop that doesn't have their prices displayed. 😕 Seemed like a nice place though but you just have to guess what you're spending.

We stopped by for coffee and cake and it was amazing. Great quality coffee, the cake was sensational and the service and location were lovely. Stop by, you’ll love it.

Very nice eclectic cafe. It was shutting as we arrived but they still made us welcome and provided great coffee and some lovely cakes.

The atmosphere of the tile press is lovely for a special occasion or an afternoon tea with a friend. We had occasion to book for a baby shower.Every effort was made to fill our needs and requests and the afternoon tea was delicious and substantial. I would definitely use this place again for an occasion and hope to pop in for a tea and cake some time soon. 5* food 5* service Would happily recommend 👌🏻

Saw the price of a sausage roll (£13) and a sandwich (£10). Didn’t bother.

Excellent provision for gluten free diners. The menu booklet has the GF menu on the first page and there are healthy options with generous portions. There's also more than one GF cake option too.

Visited two weeks ago and ordered two Turkish delight fully loaded hot chocolates which were incredible. Visited today and ordered the same drinks again; Turkish delight fully loaded hot chocolates which were hardly fully loaded. There was hardly any sauce on them this time and definitely not worth the price tag. Most of the food we ordered however was really yummy as was the orange cake - very fresh and moist, however the quiche wasn't nice at all. It came out piping hot and soggy which implied it had been put into the microwave for too long. Please do better next time as its such a lovely little cafe with friendly staff!

Best for coffee or afternoon tea but not casual food. Having sat down surrounded by gorgeous looking afternoon teas we were distinctly underwhelmed by our own food. The children's lunch boxes were lovely but our lunches had soggy wedges and the mains weren't good value for money at all and didn't scream homemade. That said the drinks were good and the atmosphere upstairs was pleasant.

Been for afternoon tea today and the quality of the food as well as the service was absolutely perfect. The food was so fresh and handmade too. The lady who took care of us was so friendly and it was obvious she wanted us to have a great experience. Would absolutely visit again, didn't even know they existed until today so true hidden gem!

Group of 8 visited today for Mother's Day Afternoon Tea. Choice of prosecco or alcohol free fizz, tea, coffee, juice, sandwiches, cheese scones, fruit scones, cake....... all delicious! Made to feel very welcome by friendly staff, we will be returning!

Afternoon tea for mothers day was amazing as always! So much food we took doggy bags home! Staff were amazing, venue looked amazing. Couldn't rate it any better for the money!

Really tasty food, the Full English was more than I could actually manage and at a good price, staff were really nice, dog friendly too, wish there were more cafes like this.

What a little gem this place is, my friend & I went for breakfast & were not disappointed, the smashed avocado on toast was so tasty, one of thee best mocha’s I have had in a while, there was a huge selection of food on offer & some tasty cakes that although we couldn’t squeeze in after the breakfast we bought to take out & when eaten later they didn’t let us down. Really friendly staff & reasonable cost 5* from us.

First visit after reading reviews. Lovely atmosphere although bit chilly. Waited 20 minutes. My husband was brought his cake and hot chocolate.i was told mine would be soon. My drink arrived after few minutes but no bacon sandwich. Had to wait another 5 /6 minutes. Would have liked our order to arrive together. I. All waited 25minutes for all our order to arrive. They were not busy . Disappointed in having to wait so long and order not arrived together. . Did enjoy food and drink. Perhaps we will visit again. See if any better

Lovely food and service, however, on numerous occasions they have ran out of sausage and bacon by 11 o'clock, despite breakfast running until 11:30am. Whilst this must show how popular the establishment is, it still leaves many customers very disappointed. We have been regulars up until this point, but unfortunately now find ourselves on the hunt for somewhere more reliable.

After walking out of a cafe prior to visiting here, our visit here was a gem of a find. Excellent customer service and great vegan options including cakes. Portion sizes fantastic and wow the size of the cake. Good value for money great visit for all including us vegans Well Done, We’ll be back 👍

Met for brunch. It was excellent, at £12 to £15 per head. Generous portion sizes of home cooked food from quality ingredients. Friendly staff and a good atmosphere. There is outdoor seating and upstairs function room (presumably additional seating when non-functioning, iyswim). Nicely and elegantly decorated. Dog friendly.

Went for breakfast but was there at 11.35 and breakfast stopped at 11.30. Asked if I could still have but told I couldn't. Lunch menu was from 12 but it seemed that it was OK to have an earlier lunch but not a late breakfast. If the ingredients for a breakfast are still in the fridge then I don't see why I couldn't have had one. I could understand if it was gone 12 but it wasn't. Moral if the story, don't be late for breakfast, not even 5 minutes.

A lovely, great value, quirky cafe. Fantastic atmosphere and staff. People with Coeliac disease are well catered for with staff having family members who have the disease. The choices are plentiful. The food wonderful. Breakfast is served till 11.30. Lunch from 12.00. There is an upstairs room for additional seating or for party bookings. There is also outside seating. dogs are welcome, with free treats available. Welcomes walkers, which is great as it is within the gorge. There is parking available. The cafe us in the craft centre with many specialised craft shops.

Cooked food seems to be very expensively priced.

We went for coffee and cake! I will be back it was great!!! So many things I need to taste! I had the orange and chocolate cake and a fully loaded caramel latte, it was a real treat.

Wow! Would give our festive afternoon tea more than 5 stars if I could. Such a lovely selection of food, we took a lot away with us as we couldn’t eat it all. Delicious cakes, lovely festive atmosphere in the cafe too. We’ll be back!

Gorgeous little cafe, beautifully decorated for Christmas. Only had hot chocolates but they were delicious, lots of tables for afternoon tea which looked lovely. Lovely staff, in particular a lady who was working on her day off and was so kind to my little boy and gave him some chocolates which made his day. Can’t wait to return!

Had a super afternoon tea here in characterful upstairs room. Brilliant food, lovely atmosphere, excellent friendly staff & great location (easy parking). Couldn't eat everything so were provided with a box to take away some cakes for later. Highly recommended.

Not cheap, but a great range of tasty meals and cakes, including GF and vegan dishes. Hot drinks also delicious, with a number of "milk" options. Friendly staff.

Gorgeous Afternoon Tea Went here today with friends to celebrate my birthday. The afternoon tea was amazing, we opted for the £25 pp option that included tea, coffee, orange juice, lemonade and sangria. The food was absolutely amazing and so much of it that we were provided with a box to take home what we couldn’t eat. The staff were all,lovely and helpful too. Would highly recommend, really enjoyed it

My mum took me here for afternoon tea for a birthday treat as it had been recommended by friends. We are both vegetarian and I have to say the selection of savoury was fab as well as the cakes! It is a very lovely place with friendly staff. The only reason I gave it a 4 star and not a 5 is there was only one hot or soft drink included and would of been nice to have more . Definitely worth a visit !

We had a lovely afternoon tea on Saturday, great selection, met our specific dietary requirements, plenty of food & waitress explained everything to us. Making it an enjoyable experience for us all, especially as we brought friends from Dublin. Would go again & highly recommend, thank you

Afternoon tea. Sandwiches, savoury scones, quiche, salad and crisps. Couldn't even manage the top layer of puds, so took home to eat. We went later on, so it was quiet and we ate upstairs. Happily go back and eat it again.

Don't often leave reviews as I'm not a massive fan of Social Media "an all that stuff". Called in earlier today with my pals on our motorcycles. Its a real gem of a cafe with an interesting history. Breakfast butties were great as was the coffee and the service we received was second to none! If your in the area please pay them a visit. Its a thumbs up from our lot!👍

Expensive with limited menu. Dogs allowed - which I don't agree with but I don't make the rules. Confusion over who ordered what - sorted eventually. I believe the Afternoon Teas are very good.

Amazing! We attended mother's day afternoon tea here and it was beautiful. The staff are so helpful and friendly. They listened to our every need, we asked for no eggs, no cheese etc they made everything fantastic.

This has been my favourite place since it opened and always tell my clients about tile press. Unfortunately on our last visit they no longer do table service and we also asked as there was wedges with the pie option could we have wedges with a sandwich they said this was not possible also asked if could have onion on sandwich that was also a no, service was also slow eventually we left and went somewhere more accomadating.

Nice food but like all places now prices have risen a lot since we last went. Not there fault. As prices have gone up for everything.

My daughter treated me to afternoon tea & it was completely perfect , we had the vegetarian option which was lovely , very tasty sausage rolls& a lovely selection of cakes . Nicky looked after us so well as did the other staff all very attentive . So much food we were stuffed but a box is provided to takeaway what you carnt manage . Overall a lovely experience Thankyou

Had a brilliant Mothering Sunday Afternoon Tea, all delicious , fresh and the most moist cakes , you get jam and clotted cream and home made coleslaw and lovely coffee ,was very filling and we got to take the leftovers home , absolutely beautiful location and stunning dècor with lovely , helpful staff , 10 out of 10, will see you again!

Really nice little cafe that we found on a walk! It has a really cosy and friendly atmosphere and the staff were so helpful and considerate, even taking the time to come and ask more questions about my partner's order to make sure he wasn't getting anything he didn't want (vegan). They had a really big range and a very tempting menu and it was the best coffee I had on my trip!

Absolutely amazing place! Staff are so friendly, can't do enough for you! I hosted my friends baby shower there, the afternoon tea was the best I've every had and to top it all off a beautiful venue and fantastic staff. Thank you Natalie for all your help you were amazing. X

Lovely food, had plenty boxed up to take home. All freshly made. Nice coffee. Table was decorated nice for valentines but we where there for my boys birthday so was nice. The girls enjoyed having roses to take home.

Attended today for my xmas gift. Service was superb , veryfriendly and welcoming staff , and the food was amazing. Proper home made cakes, lots of choice and options. Presented well and a goody box to bring home for both of us as we were very full.... we will be back.

Loved Maws tile press cafe every time I've visited. Booked afternoon tea for my mom's birthday and the staff were so lovely and helpful and it was set up beautifully ready for us couldn't have asked for better

Quaint coffee shop set in the Maws Craft Centre. Hot chocolate is really nice. Nice relaxed atmosphere. Dont expect to rush in and out for a coffee.

A rustic atmosphere with indoor and outdoor seating. Yorkshire tea not a favourite of mine so I had cappuccino and it was lovely. Food is a little expensive but in line with similar cafes. The nachos were a good serving shared between 3 of us but never enough sauce. Cakes were divine.
