The Arleston Inn Hotel in Telford and Wrekin

Great little pub with lots going for it, very fairly priced on drinks. The future is bright for this venue. Keep your eyes and ears open. Once they get the kitchen facility up and running, it's gonna be a great place to eat too.

We went for Sunday Lunch today it was very disappointing as the beef was already cut in chunks and was very dry and tough found it so hard to eat and roast potatoes not cooked properly and veg cold we only tried there as read good reviews certaiinly wont be going again

Friendly welcoming staff, nice atmosphere, carvery hot and fresh, however could've done with more slices of meat. I think swapping the gravy and sauces table with the soup table would be better locations. Gluten free gravy was catered for however should have at least one GF dessert option other than just ice cream.

Had a fantastic carvery today. What a wonderful pub ran by a really friendly family, was so nice to be greeted by a smile upon walking in. Was seated by the daughter of the lady behind the bar who herself is lovely and welcoming.. Keep up the great work

This place was recommended by a friend. We Managed to book in earlier for the Sunday Carvery and I am very happy that we took the short journey to this beautiful establishment in what felt like the middle of the countryside. A great experience from start to finish, calm atmosphere, friendly and helpful staff, amazing food with a wide variety of choice on the Carvery and a decent pint to go with it.

A fab little gem hidden down Arleston Lane. Went for a lovely Sunday carvery with friends and we were not disappointed! Beautiful home-cooked food, reasonably priced and great quality. The pub has a warm, welcoming atmosphere bolstered by the team. Would highly recommend!

Took advantage of the 15% off food through the Facebook page, an amazing warm welcome from all the staff, very friendly and welcoming, as you walk in the bar area is very characteristic to an old English pub with an amazing open fire. We sat and had drinks whilst waiting for friends to arrive, we were taken through to a spacious conservatory to our table, the service was exceptional, asking us about starters and recommendations. We chose to settle for just the carvery, the choice was delicious, Turkey, Gammon and Beef, all of which were good size portions and then Yorkshire and stuffing which I have to say was amazing as the Yorkshires were huge and homemade. There was a wide selection of veg, including cauliflower cheese, roasts and mash, and amazing thick gravy and every condiment you would expect. Would highly recommend to anyone for a family get together or just a meal with friends or just as a couple, friendly warm atmosphere for any occasion, will definitely visit again soon - thank you

My local club held a Christmas party here in the function room and the buffet was amazing lots of different foods and all dietary requirements where catered for, the staff are very accommodating and friendly

Welcome to our new and old customers. Honesty is the best way we can be right now, myself and my colleague took over as managers over a week ago, We have met many challenges and overcome many hurdles. We are in the middle of a relaunch and a new menu, luckily enough we have a great team and good support from our customers, Unfortunately Last Sunday we were let down by a chef it caused a problem with our Father's Day lunch, we sincerely apologise to the customers that it effected, however things happen for a reason we now have a fantastic chef join our team and our menu relaunch will be next week watch this space for an update! Lots of exciting things to come, garden renovations underway, great food, with a fantastic family atmosphere in a happy restaurant ready to invite you to come and see us, thank you for your support.

I believe this is under new management, the food was disgusting, there was only a choice of 2 starters melon or prawn cocktail, we chose the prawn, served on a dinner plate a piece of luttuce leaf with it just dolloped in the middle, we should have walked out there but persevering with the main sunday roast was a big mistake, frozen carrots,1 tiny burnt yorkshire pud,1 piece of black parsnip,cold fat sodden roast potato, gravey like water, 1 big inch chunk of meat, very small meals,definitely not adult portions, luke warm food, the restaurant looks like a like a cheap cafe ,and the view into the rubbish filled garden and old caravans is a treat, how much does it cost for fresh veg ? none of us ate it, I will never go back there, this used to be such a lovely place and we all were looking forward to it , ruined our fathers day.

Excellent Indian food, ate in as a party of 4 and everyone thoroughly enjoyed their meals. Really friendly service. Decor still needs work, but it's clearly in the process of being refurbished. Looking forward to seeing how it turns out!

Now that we are out of lock down, you have to visit this little gem in Telford. This is a lovely hotel located just a 1.5 miles out of Telford centre. The owners are very hospitable and go above and beyond to make your stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible which is something that is missing from the larger chain hotels. The rooms are very comfortable and getting a good night's sleep is very easy - as soon as my head hit the pillows, I was out like a light!!!! The restaurant is very good indeed which offers a diverse range of meals for all tastes. The bar serves all of the popular beers and some craft beers which I need to return to sample! Overall, this was a great 5 nights i stayed at the Arleston Inn and I wish the owners every success with this hotel. It won't be long before I return. See you soon. Thankyou.

We visited in December for the first time for a family meal. Food was Delicious and fresh also reasonably priced Indian food. Management are professional and staff very attentative Land lady jayda is absolutely stunning! We will be back in due course when everything re opens x

Food is sub standard, certainly not Indian cuisine may be if you have had covid and your taste buds aren't working or you're not used to actual Indian cuisine then it may pass but even then I doubt it Very disappointing evening out, the food was NOT as described it was served almost cold and customer service lacked, the atmosphere was mediocre the staff are certainly not professional and clientele questionable. Will not be returning and certainly do NOT recommend, only to my enemies.

An oldy world charming pub. As much as its a very traditional pub it is looking a bit tired. Seems to cater for the older generation but there is a TV for sports in the main bar.

From the outside pub looks tired and walking down slope into bar worrying what we'd let ourselves in for. Landlord/Barman very welcoming and friendly. Menu good selection and had daily specials. Good food with friendly atmosphere..excellent..very homely

My boyfriend and I stayed at the Arleston Inn for 3 nights while in Telford for a convention. Overall we had a pleasant experience but there were a few bumps throughout the stay, so I thought I'd write up a pro/con list for anyone who might be looking at staying here for a few nights! Pros: * Super friendly and lovely owners. They were so relaxed and accommodating; they made us feel very welcomed. * Lovely location away from the town, entering into the countryside. Quiet and surrounded by nature. * Nice full English breakfast. * Right above a pub, so if you want you can go hang out and eat downstairs without needing to go find somewhere in town, like you might with a different hotel. * Very affordable prices. * Cute room with a really comfortable bed. Felt like sleeping on a cloud! Cons: * The room and shower were quite small, which didn't bother us too much but if you prefer your space that's something to keep in mind. * The TV is small and old-fashioned, so it makes this really stressful ringing noise. Some of the channels didn't seem to work either. We ended up not using the TV at all. * On the 1st night we got there, a party was going on in the pub downstairs. The owner told us right away which we really appreciated, but it was quite frustrating as we'd just done a 5 hour drive and were kind of hoping for an early night, especially since we had to get up early for our convention the next day. We had to wait until around midnight to go to sleep due to the sound. Granted, that was just 1 night; every night after was perfectly quiet. So it's just something worth keeping in mind! * The internet is very temperamental. Sometimes we could connect just fine and it'd load pages and run videos at a decent quality; other times it would just completely go or take forever to load. So we ended up relying on our phone data a lot. Hope this helps! Thank you for the stay. :)

Steaks are the best in shropshire so tender

Well we had a really good dinner well cooked and well saved.a nice choice of starters the carvarery was the best but as I noticed that a lot of the customer were middle the elderly we thought the choice of sweets let you down.home made sweets would have gone down a treat.but we have been before a few times and will visit again very soon.

I tried this pub about 18 months ago and the food was ok, nothing special. The staff were ok. But didn't really feel welcome. I hope things have changed.

Fantastic hotel a must for anyone eho is looking for a small friendly hotel. Nothing was too muvh trouble for the owner's. Food was exvellent well cookef and presented. Will definitely be returning.
