Worse visit I’ve had. Ordered a small strawberries and cream Frappuccino at 13.15 and at 13.40 it has still not been made. In that time she has made 4 drive thru orders and made 5 lots of hot drinks. Only one staff member making drinks and one member of staff in the kitchen. It seems drive thru orders take priority even when being placed after mine. Will not come back when the store is this short staffed
The food and drink was good, but our time in there was completely spoiled by a handful of extremely loud customers. We sat as far away from them as possible, but had to keep stopping our conversation as we couldn't hear each other speak. We made our point to the person clearing our table, who said she would speak to the manager. However, I am of the view that, as long as people keep spending money, nothing will be done to make it a better experience for the majority of people who simply want to eat and drink in a pleasant atmosphere.
And so a lovely cafe that welcomes families with children on a very hot day. The staff were superb. They were welcoming and friendly. Value was outstanding. Should we visit again we will certainly go to this lovely family-friendly cafe. Thank you for making us feel welcome after our awful experience at the place nearby. We are very grateful.
I like their turkey roast dinner, turkey, mash, peas, carrots, cabbage, stuffing ball and gravy on a large oval plate. Hot drink and change from £10. They have a good variety menu to suit everone, from breakfasts, fish and chips, jacket potatoes, sandwiches plus many more. They let you change any item from dfferent dishes.

Ordered skinned haddock, but given unskinned. Order should be repeated by staff to confirm.
Chips were VERY pale and neither batter or chips had much taste. Maybe the oil used is different. The batter also seemed different to usual.
The curry was nice and mushy peas were ok. Tried and sadly won't use again.
Awful experience. I was given an estimated time of arrival (between 40-60 mins). Once that time had passed I called the restaurant to find out where the order was and was told 10 more mins. I waited another 30 mins and called the restaurant back. They said the driver was at my hotel reception. I waited another 5 mins then called back again and they said the driver was on his way and would be with me soon! At this point I had enough of their excuses and asked them to cancel the order and refund me which I had paid via Paypal. They said they could not refund me. I explained they could as I had paid via PayPal. The end result was I cancelled the order (it was past 11pm at this point) had no food and was refused a refund. Use this restaurant at your own peril, they lie about deliveries and about being able to refund payments. Complete rip off cowboys!
Absolutely brilliant and the young person who I believe is called HOLLI was very courteous and really helpful. The service and food especially on a very busy Easter Sunday was excellent. We will definitely be coming here in burton again.
After placing an order via the app, I went through the drive through. I ordered a full meal with an iced coffee. The your girl on the second window was rude and unhelpful. She seemed to have an attitude problem and the food was just thrown into the box, the chips were put in the bag upside down so they all came out and were all cold. The only good part about the visit was having an iced coffee to complete the journey away from there!!
Chicken in my chicken shish obviously stored incorrectly, out of date or undercooked, 2 and half hours and it's coming out the other end. Not pleasant at all
Brilliant service from Marstons after parking at Bradgate Arms Cropston and getting a £100 parking fine because we were not informed by the pub when we arrived that we needed to give our registration number in. After contacting the landlady she was very unhelpful and abusive and said there was nothing they could do. I therefore contacted Marstons the brewery who could not have been more helpful and sympathetic and got our fine cancelled immediately. Well done and thank you Marstons.
