Burger King in East Staffordshire

Food was awful buns dry burger cold cheese hadn't even melted there was that little warmth on burger and very over priced for size of the so called cheeseburger

Lot of work going on in the car park.....👎🏼

Unable to use the toilet as they said it was closed so had to go the petrol station then was told I couldn't eat in either. awfull rather go else wear

Bap seemed dry and they didn't do Shakes

Awful. I have to say of all the burger joints Burger King is my favourite but not this visit. Bun was dry Patty tasted of nothing no flame grilled taste. Onion was very thick, I do like onion but it over powered everything. The building is nice and very clean.

Always a very quick service, extremely efficient and very polite all the staff.

I travel a lot, eating a lot on the road and this is the best burger king i have ever been to, if i am ever traveling past here i hold on so that this is where i eat. It's mostly quiet, its always the best burger king in terms of food. cant fault it.

I prefer Burger King to the other (probably slightly more well-known) burger place, I think its food is tastier. That said, it is still a quick food burger place, so it's not in the league of uptown restaurants. Had a burger made with Angus beef and some dirty fries with cheese and bacon. Very nice. The place was clean and brightly lit, although not graced by many patrons. All in all, quite satisfying.

Loved it. The burgers were very good quality and tasty.

Visited 2pm on Monday the 30th of October. Female toilets dirty, floor dirty, bench seats dirty, tables not particularly clean. The shop was extremely quiet so that wasn’t an excuse. Food was normal standard BK food, but the cleanliness needs addressing by management.

Always good service friendly staff.

Visiting on the way home from a weekend away and I have to say one of the best burger kings I’ve had. Food was hot and fresh, restaurant was clean and staff polite. Would highly recommend

We were in the road, having landed in the UK only a few hours earlier, and were thrilled to discover a full vegan menu at this BK! The restaurant was clean, the kiosks were easy to order from, and the staff were friendly. I wish BKs in the USA offered as many vegetarian & vegan options!

Much better since it reopened. I'm hoping it doesn't go back to old habits with lukewarm food and poor service. Food actually tasted fresh and no issues. Keep up the good work

Food was decent, whopper was a bit cold though. Service was good, but strawberry milkshake was rubbish. Tasted like I was just drinking whipped cream straight out a can.

It's a nice location for a quick break. toilets were so nice and clean, but they need more self-service counters as there are only 2, and customers have to wait overall nice and clean excellent service

Food is OK, customer service on the other hand is just unacceptable!! About a month ago ordered at drive through and got 1 item wrong- left feedback but let it go otherwise, as didn't think it was a big deal. Ordered today via the screen to dine in- order included 2 kids meals. When opened the boxes the toys were missing- went to the counter to ask for them, only to be told they had run out of toys. Nobody let us know while we waited for our order. Meals returned for a refund and staff were looking at us as if we had some kind of unreasonable request- tha we should have got hat we paid for, or we would have ordered something else instead.... It looks like it's only kids working there that have no clue or customer service competence whatsoever. Not worth the price.

It's a burger king, but the service was fine and facilties clean enough.

Food is ok but staffed by people that clearly don't want to be there. Still better than McDonald's (not exactly hard)

Wasn't the best burger we had won't be going back again

1x Peppercorn Angus meal, 1x Whopper meal, 2x Kids cheese burger meals. Burgers were ok, tasty but quite dry. Peppercorn fries were dry, but tasty. Adding mayo helped. Location was clean (tables and floor). Half the area was cordoned off (the booths were cordoned off with plastic taped over the benches and tables). Quite pricey compared to McDonald's and KFC but not extortionate.

Bit of a miserable place really. Could do with brightening up, after all, should be a pleasanter environment after charging you what they do. Not the staffs fault, they were friendly enough, just something about the place. Not for me I'm afraid.

The place was clean and well set out, however when our food arrived our burgers were stone cold, I took it back and got it changed for fresh ones but they weren't much warmer, was so fed up we just ate our food and left. Won't go there again.

The place itself was very clean.... The staff however were... Well, I'm lacto free, n asked the staff what I could have that was lactose free, they tried.....! Then I chose a "vegan" meal n was told they couldn't guarantee the meal was milk free!!! 🤔 Not good!

Never open even though google listing said it should be. Hadn’t been in a few years since i tried once around 7.30pm and it was inexplicably shut, tried today at 3pm and again all lit up but doors were locked.

Not bad. Food ok although not cheap.

Burger could have been a bit warmer and not enough lettuce on one of our whoppers.

Went yesterday ordered a vegan chicken royal. That was not vegan. Cannot prove it but there can be no other explanation as to why I'm so ill today. served by the manager aswell. Put of Burger King now. Dont recommend.

Please don’t waste your money and time to dine in this restaurant. Food was horrible and disgusting. Burgers was cold and the buns were stale. No wonder why it’s always empty.

Used it for a break from driving. Toilets were so clean, well done. Just had tea and coffee will use it instead of Costa across the car park!

Decent enough Burger king, we ordered a short while before they were due to close and they were eager to usher us out.

Terrible! Im the only person in Burger King there's 20 tables filled with crumbs. It's just teenagers running the place. Totally unacceptable standards. The burgers were sub-standard.

Placed an order through Uber, 5 minutes later the order was cancelled due to restaurant being “busy”. We decided to drive to the restaurant, there were only 5 people sat in and no window orders, so much for being busy, lazy is what they are!!

Usually buying burgers for takeout when we are in journey. Tasty, and lots of options.

Was there like 2 hours ago. Liverpool fan coming back from the charity shield. Food was nice, hot and served quickly in a store full of football fans late at night. Cheers an well done!

It was OK, had to wait a while. Toilet was hard to get to had to climb over cleaning equipment left out.

We ate in, Buns were dry & the order wasn't put together correctly initially, otherwise the food and restaurant area was as expected.

The bun's on our whoppers was as dry as a bone.

Not been to burger king for a while. Service was good and the place was clean. However compared to other fast food options this place is expensive and whilst it always has been slightly more expensive than others the burgers are normally bigger and very tasty. Unfortunately I was disappointed with both the taste and the size of the burgers.

Best Burger King I've been too. Food was freshly made and the site was very clean. Also good value. My kids now favour over maccies

Went to grab a burger at 9.30pm and it was closed and it clearly says on google and on the website that on a Friday its open until 10pm.

Burger King, please update your closing times as it is not 10pm on a fridays as it states on google and on your website, and I travelled a fair bit to get there.

Milkshake was just vanilla nice and clean

Its ok. Got a small burger, filling was more pattie and fell apart as opposed to g beef mixed. Staff, seemed occupied amusing themselves and a quick "here's your food" at the end.

Grabbed a coffee. Pleasant and Polite staff. Clean toilets.

The lad serving was decent, but the card machine was goosed and the self serve terminal didn't have the offers on.

Most of the fast food chains are what they are but I really enjoyed the burger really nicely cooked staff were friendly enough the placed looked clean so all in all can’t really complain

Arrived for takea away ordered on touch screen which wouldn't allow changes to menu choice for some reason. So had to order twice. Ordered large buyer two drinks sadly we found the burgers to be excessively greasy and soggy so much so the fat was dripling from the paper wrapped in into our vehicle.. Very poor food excessively priced..

Short stopover for a break and quick food. No inside seating apparently and you order at one of two touchscreens inside and collect the goods a couple of minutes later. Nowhere to sit outside unless it’s in your car

Wanted to eat there with a few families and since I worked at a Burger King myself I thought I could treat them with a discount since it was part of the employee benefits. First thing that happened was that the assistant manager unlocked the door (it was opening hours) and were greeted by children saying ‘hi’. She instantly turned away not saying a word to them which I found quite rude. You cannot use the excuse that you did not hear them as there were four children saying it in unison within a small distance and children are no doubt loud beings. Regardless if you are an employee following the policy or you’re an ordinary person, it’s essential to acknowledge childrens’ existence. I was accepted to the discount which I originally thought to be 50% turned out to be only 15%. Miscommunication or not, it was quite frustrating and the fact it was even mentioned in the official handbook to be 50% was even more frustrating. What’s even more confusing was where the 15% came from as it is never mentioned in the handbook. When confronting the situation quoting ‘any of our owned restaurants’ the cashier replied that ‘your friends and family do not own any of the restaurants and only apply to other restaurants’ which was a laughable response and overall illogical. Going by that logic, no employee can get a discount for themselves or friends as they do not own the restaurants. This is a Burger King we went to and apparently this is not an owned restaurant as the cashier’s logic was that it did not apply to this specific one but got a discount anyway. Their response repeated after by the cashier was that ‘it’s what it says on the computer and I can’t do anything about it’. If you got confused during this whole paragraph it is because their logic was an utter lie and overall confusing. I would have understood more and have been more accepting if they gave a logical and reasonable reason for the decision. After finding out about the 15% we accepted it despite not being 50% there was still one problem. Even if you are not good at maths you would be able to understand why this is a problem that almost went under the radar. If you think that 15% off of £247 is £237 then you would be crazy. You cannot say that you blame the computer and cannot do anything about it when it could not even calculate the right percentage. It was roughly £27 off from the actual total that we were supposed to pay from the 15% discount. On to the food, I would appreciate the fact that you had to feed 25 people in one order but that does not mean you give half-effort service. There were missing sides such as halloumi fries and completely ignored the five cheesy bacon doubles like it never appeared on the list. They managed to make most of the burgers and avoid the cheesy bacon doubles which is ridiculous. Even worse, the cashier did not believe us first and they genuinely thought we had everything. The food was quite cold even though the restaurant just opened and the food came quite quickly. Overall, terrible experience. In the end, it was not even about the discount, it was about getting what we paid for. We paid almost full price for some of the things not even coming to us which tipped us over the edge. I understand it might have been overwhelming but this is comparable to lunch hour and I could tell they did not have enough staff to cope. One making burgers and one on the sides. Uncooperative, deceptive and rude from staff. If you want some sort of silver lining, we got some of the money back to match the 15% discount but let us remember that the cashier clearly stated ample times that they did what was on the computer and *could not* do anything about it. Fuelling the lies as they did do something about the discount showing that they may have controlled the percentage and how much they slashed off because computers are not that stupid to get percentages wrong. If you come into the restaurant with a large amount of people, spare them as they are abysmal at handling them. Rude to children and overall confusing with frustrating logics.

Visited late in the evening, however the food was surprisingly fresh. Easily one of the best burger Kings I've had.

On the Uttoxeter service area not very busy so get served quickly and more parking spaces than McDonald's up the road.

It's a Burger King! Good service and good food. More importantly, if you've just spent the day at Alton Towers and you're heading down this road, don't queue up at the first drive thru you come to, drive a little further and this one is a little quieter.

Very good covid regulations. Self ordering on the screens was ridiculously long winded though. The food was perfect, hot and far fresher tasting than McDonald's!
