Arrived yesterday evening. Check in quick and easy, except being advised to wait for someone to take our bags, which we did ourself. What I would say is, the staff are excellent, so hard working, whoever the management are, they need a large rocket, period. This place feels nice but the attention to detail is shocking. So we arrived on April 01st, who is the joker?! Queues of 20 minutes to get a drink ffs. Complained but didn’t really change anything. A la carte restaurants shut, nice one. Low and behold, today, the ice creams, 25 minute queue to be told no strawberry, vanilla or chocolate. I’m not rude but i did stop the server from chatting to his buddy as there were 25 people in the queue behind me. Joke. Overall £500 a week for here is good value, don’t expect anything more. Right on the beech.

Went to bilash after row with current partner. Took our own carling and villa maria private bin. Food was good. Staff were nice. Not rowing (rowing that is not rowing) afterwards. What can you say.

This is an Indian/ Bangladeshi restaurant serving fabulous food, great menu, we opted for popadoms for 2, Sheek kebab starter + tandoori king prawns (to die for) main course, Bombay dreams and traditional chicken madras, pilau rice and roti, wide choice of alcohol or non alcoholic drinks, exceptional service. Good value for money!!! Highly recommend.

We booked earlier in the week, but somehow they couldn't find the booking. Nevertheless, they did find us a table. Food was average to good, but small portions compared to other Indian restaurants. They presented us with the bill after the main course which was very strange and said they were very busy. They obviously wanted the table asap and had people waiting for it. We asked for the desert menu and did get a desert and then left. Felt that we were being hurried!

Paid for the Mother’s Day special, spend £50 get £50 voucher, and let’s just say you need it! Food is OK but how can a restaurant on the A38 charge Birmingham City centre prices. Starts expensive and main £26-£30 I go to top restaurants in Birmingham for this sort of money. To top it all I regularly buy take aways and have been let down big time with late delivery with lame excuses never again!!!!

If you want quality, tasty food which is clean, I highly recommend either the lamb, steak, or kofte kebab. Fresh salad, and tender lean meat. The rice is so tasty with these dishes and it's a very healthy meal also. I'm a big eater and always order large, and it satisfying. If you are looking for a healthier alternative fast food there's nowhere else in this town to go apart from Indiana for these dishes.
