Paid for the Mother’s Day special, spend £50 get £50 voucher, and let’s just say you need it! Food is OK but how can a restaurant on the A38 charge Birmingham City centre prices. Starts expensive and main £26-£30 I go to top restaurants in Birmingham for this sort of money. To top it all I regularly buy take aways and have been let down big time with late delivery with lame excuses never again!!!!

Was a bit apprehensive as we read some previous comments , All of which were proved to be in our opinion wrong. 1/ the staff were cheerful, polite, efficient and helpful. 2/ Yes the food was towards expensive end of the scale, but was of excellent quality and we all agreed that the meals were worth the money, we each had a different course. 3/ Even though the place was busy with most tables in use, the noise level was not overwhelming and we were able to talk across the table without raising our voices.. All in all an excellent night will go back. One final point if you have a emergency service Blue Light Discount Card these are excepted.

Went out for family meal, 5 of us, at 7.30pm on a Saturday evening. When we were taken to the table there were crumbs all around the floor and on the chairs. Our drinks and poppadoms were brought quite quickly, but then we had to wait an hour before our meals were brought out. This wait would have been OK, but it was very cold in the restaurant and I had to keep my coat on. I noticed other people around us were wearing coats and complaining it was cold. There was no drinks menu with prices, no break down of the bar bill, but the bill appeared very expensive. When we arrived home we realised we’d been overcharged on the drinks bill by about £40. Over rated and over priced, I wouldn’t recommend going there to anyone.

In the last 12 months I have visited Anoki on 2 occasions with my partner. He is a wheelchair user; on both occasions the ramp allowing him access to the restaurant has been blocked by parked vehicles. On the first occasion it was a staff member’s vehicle and the second occasion is was a customer. The customer had been instructed by staff to park there. Although the food is always fantastic they need to take action to ensure the disabled access is not blocked.

Visited the Anoki for 1st time and walked into another world with costumes, decor and Indian music. The food was excellent, staff really friendly and bit more pricey but for the presentation and quality of food well worth it. Will definately go there once a month and purchased a gold card so next time they'll be 50% off, what a fantastic idea!

This was the 3rd time me and my husband had visited the outdoor dining at Anoki since its reopening in April. It is an outstanding dining experience. Sat outside in beautiful surroundings, you would not know you were only metres from the A38. Somehow, the team have managed to bring their immaculate dining experience outside with the added bonus of it feeling like a summer holiday abroad. We have had the taster menu all 3 times and it has been impeccable. With 5 curries, rice, naan, a starter platter to share and an alcoholic drink and water included, the value for money is amazing. The food was delicious and well worth the £30pp (Sunday to Thursday). We have invested in the gold card which gives you 25% off that price. To say we are happy our favourite restaurant has opened is an understatement. It is amazing and I would recommend it to everyone. Go and experience the outdoor fine dining at Anoki. A huge thank you to the teams for making it so special.

I first visited this restaurant back in February this year, and my friend and I decided to revisit it. The world has changed since my last visit, with the introduction of "social distancing" and fabricated hysteria and panic being injected into the psyche of the nations around the world! Nevertheless, the location was the epitome of serenity and calm. I was still impressed by the cordial greeting, stylish decor and the high level of service. Once again, I was bowled over by the variety of flavours, and textures in the food that we had. How is it possible that a place like this could improve since the last time I had visited? How did they manage to improve on perfection? I was stunned, and awestruck that the food and its presentation had gone up yet another level! The presentation was a genuine work of Art! Being an Artist, I fully appreciated the effort and skill that went into it. And it was as delicious to the taste as it was to the eyes! The tea to end the meal was like nothing I have ever had in my lifetime. Superb, and brewed with great care and attention. If you have never visited this place before - you are missing out! If you want to treat your "other half" to a super-special treat - there is nowhere better than this restaurant! Make it a night to remember!Amazing!

Last Saturday it was my husband’s birthday and he specifically asked to go to Anoki for a meal. It is several months since we have been out to dine and I was a little nervous about going anywhere. Once I got to Anoki my worries were all put to rest. Nav and his excellent team looked after us very well and I felt safe. The team all wore masks and all distancing measures were in place. The food was excellent as always tasty and beautifuly presented. I look forward to going again soon.

I went to anoki with my family on Monday evening, a table of 6ppl. Want to share my experience as the food was very expensive with half price eat out to help out offer. And they served popadums in the starting without asking us and charged £5 for that in the end. Service was very poor and food was very bad too as I had stomach problem whole night. We won’t be back ever again.

Very disappointed with the quality of meat used in our chicken dishes . All dishes tasted very similar and bland . Service Terrible - inexperienced temp staff and waited 30 min for starter and 30 min for main with limited menu and extortionate prices !! We didn’t go there to see the decor we went for the food but were let down - there are better places out there offering better Indian food .! Won’t be visiting here again as it just tasted cheap .

It came totally just bhajiis no salad or sauce as you would have had in the restaurant. For what was paid not value for money. The curry was nice but spoilt by the starter.

I've driven past this place a dozen or more times and always wanted to try it.The welcome is warm from fully costumed waiters. The décor and ambiance are very comfortable and homely. The menu is quite limited but has a good range of dishes. Prices are roughly double what we were used to ..... but the food is exceptional! It is clear that each dish is made to order and has an individual sauce rather than a generic sauce that is the mainstay of too many restaurants. There are lots of deals and marketing to navigate. We qualified for a 2 for 1 main course otherwise the 2 courses for £33 would have been the way to go.We would happily return and recommend this place to anyone who wants something a little better than the average curry.

A friend of 28-years and I met up for a catch up, and he recommended that we travel from Birmingham to Burton to visit this venue. As you can see from the photos, it is a colourful venue, The décor was stylish and authentic and the ambience made you feel like you were in Dubai, or the Asian subcontinent.Service was with a smile, and the welcome was warm and friendly. We had a selection of starters which were absolutely stunning and delicious. I can honestly say that I have never had fish, lamb or chicken so succulent, tender, soft, with melt-in-your-mouth textures EVER in my life before! Incredible! The portions were so generous, I could not partake of any main courses, as I was genuinely full. However, I had sufficient room to indulge in a little dessert and kulfi ice-cream.As an artist, I was struck by the attention to detail and the creative flourishes manifested in the elegant and stylish plates, cups and glassware. It was aesthetically pleasing and a nice touch.I was impressed by this restaurant, and can testify to the rationale behind it's name - Anoki - which means "Unique" and "Special" and it well and truly is. If you visit one Indian Restaurant this year - make it this one - it is genuinely incredible and well worth every penny! If I could score it 10/10 - I most certainly would!

Our friend had been recommended this place and 5 of us arrived at 7.30 on Friday. Initial impressions were good, nice welcome, staff looked great in their outfits and nice feel to it.Drinks were a little slow but we had poppadoms to keep us occupied. It was about 30 mins before we ordered just a main course each and about 1 hour 10 mins before it arrived. We were expecting a lot more from the food as the price is about DOUBLE to what you would pay in a typical Indian restaurant but it was just a curry!!! The king prawn dish was nice but at £23 for 4 prawns in a standard curry pot was just a rip off. The lamb on the bone was also nice but it was just a normal curry and for £19 again extortionate. The side dishes were also twice the price, at just under a fiver for a naan and it was nothing special. The service was also poor, we had to chase the bill twice and then waited over 15 minutes to pay, apparantly they only have one card machine and its a massive restaurant.Such a disappointing evening and we spent 40 minutes travelling there. I have no idea why it is so popular as it was so expensive and terrible srrvice and not as good as our local indian Delhi Devan. Stick to your local restaurant , they will probably serve better food at half the price.

Visited with a group of friends. My food was lovely (king prawn karahi fabulous) though the mixed balti was apparently a bit bland. However the service wasn’t great (10 mins for drinks to arrive, over 20 mins between starter being cleared and main arriving). I asked for some tap water for the table right at the start and having asked twice more a (chargeable) bottle of water arrived. After raising this (again) we did get some tap water.

Myself and 3 friends went to Anoki on Saturday night, having browsed the menu the waiter recommended a set banquet menu with a selection of starters and mains, he said it was better value for money and if wanted more we should just ask, when 2 of our party asked if they could have more starters they were flatly refused which was really annoying to say the least, t.he quality of the food was very good and so was the service, but when offers are made to customers they really should be honoured, it was all a little embarrassing.

First visit here for our wedding anniversary expecting something really special from looking at reviews. You'll be spending about £18+ for your main course before adding rice etc. Food was good but certainly not worth the price tag, could get the same quality for far less elsewhere. I went to this place recently with my wife to celebrate her birthday. The place had lovely ambiance. We had booked a table so did not have to wait. We sat down and placed an order for drinks and starters. We got papadums but hardly had any as our starters arrived very quickly. The waiter did not even ask and just took the whole basket of uneaten papadums away. We felt a little weird but the perfect taste of starters was good enough to put that aside. It was about 10.15pm ..ish and they started preparing to shut for that night (As per their website they shut at 11.00pm and one must vacate before 12.00pm). No one cared to ask us if the food was good or if we needed anything, not even water. Everyone was busy in preparing to shut. It made us very uneasy and we decided to skip the mains. Based on food I may visit them again, but based on service, I will certainly not visit after 9.30 PM.

It was all well packaged in large conatiners ready for us to decant into heated dishes at home. On seeing the food several people mentioned it looked like Anoki's food, and once they heard it was, it all got eaten! Arrived yesterday evening. Check in quick and easy, except being advised to wait for someone to take our bags, which we did ourself. What I would say is, the staff are excellent, so hard working, whoever the management are, they need a large rocket, period. This place feels nice but the attention to detail is shocking. So we arrived on April 01st, who is the joker?! Queues of 20 minutes to get a drink ffs. Complained but didn’t really change anything. A la carte restaurants shut, nice one. Low and behold, today, the ice creams, 25 minute queue to be told no strawberry, vanilla or chocolate. I’m not rude but i did stop the server from chatting to his buddy as there were 25 people in the queue behind me. Joke. Overall £500 a week for here is good value, don’t expect anything more. Right on the beech.

Family of 10. Where to begin. Mixed up veg and non veg samosas and my vegetarian wife ended up eating meat. Half hearted apologies, blaming each other - they didn’t really have a clue. We waited 1 hour for starters even through the restaurant was super quiet. Food was not great. Fish Amritsar slimy and bland. Chana Puri bland. Nan breads flat. Chilli paneer and paneer shashlik were identical. Tandoori chicken and aloo tiki were ok. No drinks menu. Left after Starters. Place is a joke.

If you want quality, tasty food which is clean, I highly recommend either the lamb, steak, or kofte kebab. Fresh salad, and tender lean meat. The rice is so tasty with these dishes and it's a very healthy meal also. I'm a big eater and always order large, and it satisfying. If you are looking for a healthier alternative fast food there's nowhere else in this town to go apart from Indiana for these dishes.
