The best restaurants serving Default food in Weymouth and Portland South West

Tried for the 1st time on my Birthday. As our normal Chinese were closed... All food was amazing, really pleased. Won't be going back to our old Chinese, as food here was much better.

The sweet and sour chicken sausages (can't call them balls) were nice, but the sauce was bland. The chips were awful, dry and powdery like they'd been reheated numerous times. We were on holiday at a caravan park so had to rely on reviews.

Use to go here 15 years ago and the staff was so rude and the food went downhill. Now under new management, lovely clean open kitchen and food was amazing. Will be back for sure. Food was hottest I ever got a Chinese home, sign of a good chef. Highly recommended

Great location but needs a complete refurb. Garden furniture dirty. Plastic pots and other debris spoiled it. Not sure if still does food. Pub seemed full of potential.

I've heard nearly every day on the radio advertising a 20 piece hot wing bucket for only £7:99 I'm on call so thought I'd go try one, asking the staff for the bargain bucket they didn't have a clue what i was on about left empty handed 😳 But they did try to sell me a smaller bucket for more of the price. While I'm sat in my van I noticed the advertisement outside. Not the first time I've experienced service like this here, will I be returning doubtful.

Really disappointing visit. Given how unbusy it was don't order food at the bar, then wait, then after 30 minutes - are you interested in food? Yes - well that will be a 45 minute wait!? What!??? Another 45 minutes. I mean the weather was nice, the drinking the same as everywhere else but they clearly don't really want you to visit and certainly not eat food. I had actually looked forward to coming here, but actually it's not worth it. Find another place.

I usually pop into the Weymouth store for a coffee often and always have a wonderful service. Today I was served by Hailey who supported me with an emergency situation and made sure I was safe and supported. Absolutely wonderful and exceptional service as always! thank you again!

Mens toilet is disgustingly dirty. Cubicles especially. Walls floor toilet bowl. Hasn't had a proper clean for months. And the smell is rank. 1/10

I had an email with a free main for my birthday. We; my other half and myself, visited for lunch and were met and served by Rose who was very friendly and professional, asking all the right questions about allergies and preferences, don’t forget to log in your car details. We both ordered the ribs with bbq sauce, it was delicious, I had rice with mine and obviously the free salad which was plentiful and fresh. Thank you see you again soon.

Great carvery. Top quality food and perfectly cooked. Friendly staff and a clean, modern,spacious and unpretentious setting. Highly recommended.

This used to be the best fish and chip shop in Weymouth, but now since the people next door took over from the Chinese takeaway it's now definitely the worst. They use the same batter that you'd get on chicken balls which is a bit weird on the fish and sausages. Such a shame as it was our go to place for years.

Went 3 times whilst we visited Weymouth. Food and desserts were beautiful. Staff were friendly.
