Ocean City in Weymouth and Portland

I know Saturday night is busy ,I asked how long it will be and he said 45 minutes it was way over a hour. we've been getting out Chinese for years from here but haven't ordered for a while but very disappointed in the food not like it usually is , we liked the pancake rolls but they were not as nice as usual. Has it been taken over as not the same. Very disappointed maybe try somewhere else

Tried for the 1st time on my Birthday. As our normal Chinese were closed... All food was amazing, really pleased. Won't be going back to our old Chinese, as food here was much better.

We hadn’t ordered for here for a while, so pleased we returned. The food is amazing, full of flavour, good on price and really quick service during a busy Saturday night. Can’t wait to return.

As always, amazing! The quality of the food has improved a lot, especially the Chicken Chow Mein and Shredded Smoked Chicken, which were absolutely stunning. Since I picked up the order in person, I could see their professional cooking and impressive speed. The best Chinese in Weymouth!

Did a online order at halftime of the rugby, for delivery. Called to ask for a update when the game had finished and they told me my food had left 15 minutes ago . Then waited a further 20 minutes and still no delivery. Called back and they said it would be less than 5 mins away. 15 minutes later rang again to which i got told the drivers car had failed to start. The manager then told me that he would go and collect the food and deliver it to me . By the time the food had been delivered which was 20 minutes later and by the original driver it was wet with sweat and cold. Drove down to get it replaced, which they did but then very hungry and 2 hours later from order it was the worst chinese ive had. Used to regularly use southill chinese but unfortunately i will be going elsewhere in the future.

Absolute disgrace. Was told it was 55 minutes delivery. I waited 70 minutes and phoned them, they said it was being cooked and would be 20 minutes wait. I waited a further 30 minutes and then phoned again, only to be told that they had not even begun cooking my order! Over priced anyway when compared to other Chinese take aways in the area. Do not use these expensive idiots to feed you, you will be disappointed. Edit: If you ran out of pre-prepared food, then why did you keep taking orders if you couldn't fulfill them? And why did you not telephone me to update me with a 2 hour wait? Your customer service is terrible, and I definitely will not be using you ever again.

If you are having a delivery make sure that you check the food is correct before paying! The egg fried rice was bland and no egg visible! Chicken in lemon sauce arrived with no sauce! When I called to get the sauce they wouldn’t deliver as they were too busy!! So my meal was spoilt and ended up in the bin. We will never use them again as they obviously don’t care about the quality or customer

Absolutely delicious. Curry with extra heat delicious. Hate doubled/triple dipped chips.. yours were not they were also great. Sweet and sour chicken and chow mein fab. Best Chinese around in our opinion, Thank you.

Food very disappointing is there any good Chinese restaurants or takeaways in Weymouth ? Very hard to find.

First visit. I was concerned to read the one star reviews. But others said the food was good. Duck Chow mien and pancake roll. Duck was juicy, the sauce was tasty and noodles were has you'd expy. I'm very impressed. Pancake roll was meaty and tasty too. I'll definitely be back. I really enjoyed the meal I went back for the special fried rice. Awesome. Again really tasty. I highly recommend this place...

I actually came here about a week ago and had duck Chow mein. I left a five star on the facebook page. Anyway I've been craving another one so came back this evening for the same. Wow! This place is great and consistent. Delicious food. Very friendly. You can see the chefs at the stoves cooking fresh food. Great value too. This a great place to eat. I'll be back next week for the special fried rice....

Recommended to the OC for a chinese takeaway. On line ordering was brilliant. Said 40 mins and it came within 20 mins. Food was hot and delicious. Great service.

First of all, this was our first time using Ocean City and we couldn’t be happier! We ordered 7 Dishes, we live 7 minutes away and the food was at our door in 16 minutes!!! Incredible service and delivery time. The food was amazing, hot and fresh - would highly recommend! 10/10

Ordered my 1st ever meal. Pancake roll was doughy and greasy Cantonese sweet and sour chicken contained 1/2 a tomato. Was just about warm same as the egg fried rice Very disappointed. Won't be using again

Yet another brilliant delivery from Ocean City. Delivered quickly, steaming hot and absolutely delicious ! Wouldn’t consider ordering Chinese takeaway from anywhere else. If you haven’t tried them - give it a go - I can recommend them 100%. I have no connection with Ocean City - other than a very satisfied customer !

Always choose OC as it's very good food. Ordered last evening for delivery and it arrived early and it was hot. The best meal we've had from there, we all enjoyed it very much

Terrible! worst food ever. Did not get what I ordered. Poor customer service on the phone when i complained. Don't eat here if looking for good food. I would've only put ZERO stars if I could no wonder they have poor reviews. They let me down the scrambled egg was as watery as the pooh I had after!!!! feel 😪 I asked for spicy satay chicken and got extra green pepper 😮‍💨 NEVERRRRR AGAIN SHALL I ORDER FROM THEM. POOOH!!! The manager was rude and denied any accountability for the awful service and mistake no attempt to redeem the monstrosity I went hungry that night a week on I'm still angry and poohing, my dog got the runs to everyone in the house threw up and we all got food poisoning. A cockroach ran out the bag 🎒

I ordered a new special fried rice when it arrived I’ve never seen any thing like it, just had chunks of carrots onion and sweet corn little meat it had no taste to it bland and horrible only eat the rice and meat, there was all so hair in it my first time using there ordering system never gave the full ingredient of the meal never use them again

This Chinese used to be one of the best in town, not anymore I’m afraid. Very average. Edible, but wouldn't rush back.

Very dissapointed. Second time we have ordered food and both times told 25 mins and both times had to wait 30 mins in the establishmet That is over an hour. When eventually got the food home it was awful.Sweet and sour chicken balls the batter was so hard i couldnt eat it.The chips were the same and the prawn crackers were hard and too thick. My wife was sick in the night. Wont be going back. No apologies for lateness.Felt sorry for the two youg kids doing the orders.Too many deliveries being done.

The worst experience I've ever had my food was 2 hrs late and then still didn't arrive im fuming I'm begging you do not order of this place manager was rude and lied 3 times. Very poor service all in all

If I could give this place a 0 I would .. the food was disgusting, the rice burnt and tasted vile and the special curry, well there was nothing special about it... I wouldn't want anyone to have to suffer what we experienced. Needless to say I called and explained the situation and the woman I was passed over to, either the chef or the manager didn't care and told me I was wrong... Appalling experience from start to finish! I have pictures but unable to attach to this review but needless to say its in the bin and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone

Will not be ordering from here again. Order was 20 minutes late with 2 items cold when we received them. Phoned up to be told I was wrong and my food was not cold. The women who I assume must of been a manger was rude on the phone as well, overheard her telling the first lady I spoke to just "put it in the microwave" really bad customer service.

We’ve just spent close to £100 at Ocean City. We ordered a vegetarian dish but there was meat in it. When we called it was dismissed but agreed to send out a second dish as long as we could prove that it was meat. After a long wait we called again and were dismissed and told they were too busy to deal with it. No apology, no resolution. We will not be using this Chinese again.

Ordered from this Chinese takeaway for delivery to portesham camp site paid for delivery, Chinese turns up less the main item for the meal,duly phoned the takeaway of their mistake told they would re deliver waited 45 mins, phoned again ,apparently they won't be delivering the main part of the meal but we can have a fiver off next meal,ate the part of meal we had left not very nicewhat we ordered worst part we gave a tip

Shocking customer service, when food didn’t arrive after 1.5 hours we were told Sorry but it’s definitely on it’s way, 3 hours later a young lady said “I’d just forget it” Nice NYE with hungry children at home!!

Food is divine, but plan to wait. You will wait at least up to one and a half hours if you go there, delivery, I waited nearly 3 hours. Food is not worth the wait.

This is a decent takeaway one of the best in Weymouth, just wish they wouldn't let the delivery drivers in where the food in prepared as really puts me off

The amptly portioned food is delicious and the staff ensure that requests are followed to enable customisation (eg no mushrooms). The food seems much healthier than other chinese food - the vegetables are wonderfully crunchy and I don't wake up the next morning feeling sluggish as there is no monsodium glutamate used. I am not gasping for a drink after I eat which is a sign of less salt usage. Plus, the staff ae lovely.

We ordered some pretty simple dishes to provide however, when our food came the bartered balls where a mixture of prawn and a mystery substance even though we ordered sweet and sour chicken balls. I am personally offended. (P.s our order was placed at 5:30, 22/02/19)
