Fair kebab, but no home made sauces and only standard doner meat

Came here on holidays ,ordered for family of 4 good prize ,food was delicious delivered on time and hot .staff was so friendly and helpful.

Disastrous experience. Went in, ordered a couple of kebabs and chips sat down on sofa and waited, and waited, and waited. Asked how long it would be a couple of times told me the other guy was working on it. Watched them have this massive argument and waited. Got up and asked again how long will it be? Told 5 minutes, then the best part, I asked for my money back he gave it and I left to never ever return

Place don't exist been there 9:20pm couldn't find it

Horrible customer service and rude attitude towards customers. Refuse to hand out salt sachets despite being free of charge and shouting at children for asking for them.

Good kebab, good price but like others we struggled to find the place amongst the construction

Against my better judgment I found this kebab shop on Google maps which was apparently close enough to walk from Atlantic house… The supposed 3 mins walk took us over 45mins as we could not identify the kebab shop in the obscurity of the partly abandoned construction site. Upon arrival , I was greeted by a passive aggressive employee who didn’t look happy of our presence . There was no menu on display and the lamb kebab spit looked like a pale leg made of spam, heated by candle light …. Can’t knock the amount of food for the price hence two stars , and luckily had just bought 6 fresh toilet rolls.

Got our order wrong after waiting for over an hour

Just wanted something small on Easter Sunday as we are staying in portland for the weekend, so we ordered 2 chicken burgers, 2 drinks and a small cheesy chips. arrived in good time nice and hot. I don't normally order with sauce, as some places drown it and make it soggy, but they toasted the buns, perfect amount of salad and mayo, the chips were good quality and it all arrived hot with the drinks still really cold the delivery driver was really lovely and polite, thank you guys.

Just bought a chicken shish kebab from Castletown kebabs ..... The whole thing looked really nice but unfortunately it was disgusting and it could not be eaten ..... Somebody had put a vast amount of spices on the chicken and it tasted like an acidic peppery cheap nasty chicken curry which was unfortunate because we ordered a kebab..... I might risk going back to buy and lamb or chicken donner again but there is no way I would order chicken shish again especially when they don't even answer to the complaint...... I had to put my £7.50 order into the dustbin. I have seen that I've received the usual answer that everyone gets.... This place has a problem getting things right .... First of all chicken kebab was not flavoured in a way that should have been , second to that I was told to wait half an hour before picking up my kebab I arrived after 20 minutes and sure enough it had already been done much early it was on the side getting cold ....... Sort out your act these are stupid mistakes

This place is a god send when you're on a ship in Portland.

This place has really gone down hill twice now I have ordered and the food has come cold the meat was like cardboard that’s a bit harsh cardboard probably tasted better When this place first opened you could not fault the food Hopefully there just going through a dry patch just like there kebab meat

After waiting almost an hour for Adult size chicken strips and chip yes chip as I think the delivery boy got hungry and ate most of them on route, they then turned up freezing cold even though the establishment is only 8 mins away! I then called to explain and they said they would send a replacement, we are still waiting after 20 minutes.....

Food really good, service excellent. Very reasonably priced aswell.

If you want ,high quality ,very tasty food , made with care at a very reasonable price then Castletown kebabs is your place, friendly staff, quick deliveries. Excellent! I’d recommend the tasty ‘mixed pakoras ‘too.!!

Does this place actually exist..?

I ordered chicken shish, kebab and chips. Everything was fine except that I am used to more salad within the wrap. If I ordered again, I think I would ask for an option to add my own chilli sauce because it was swamped! It was really presented well, and the service was good.

THIS PLACE SHOULD BE PROSECUTED FOR SCAMMING PEOPLE AND AVOIDED AT ALL COST. 12 inch spicy beef pizza Large chips Mixed pakora Price £18.40. Over half of the pizza had no beef on it and rest of it had just 1 or 2 bits per slice. Large chips were more like a childs portion and were French fries and the polystyrene container they came in was melted making them inedible. 5 pieces mixed pakora served in a small cardboard box that was packed out with tissue to give the appearance that the box was full. The displayed 5 star Food hygiene rating is clearly false because despite handling raw meat, chicken and other foods at no time did I see any member of staff wash there hands. Complete rip off, totally scammed. AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COST. Selling food that isnt as advertised is illegal and so is selling food that isnt safe to be eaten, polystyrene containers that have been melted by the food that's served in them is poisonous. What your doing is illegal. YOU HAVE BEEN REPORTED TO THE FOOD STANDARDS AGENCY and photos were supplied. THIS COMPANY IS NOTHING BUT A BUNCH OF THIEVES. Everyone here should be prosecuted and sent to prison.

Surprised to see negative reviews, found this hidden gem a few weeks back and been a few time as friends have. The food has always been amazing naam kebabs and chicken burger was so tasty. Also the chicken wings wow wish they did more chicken options as best tasting ever. Already sharing with friends and noone seems to know it's there. Best food place on the island and staff are so friendly

I don’t know who I spoke with on the phone, who was the same person who delivered the food. What an obnoxious, rude human being who didn’t care about the customer. There are a lot of expletives I’d like to use, but I won’t. The chicken doner was disgusting, so much so we didn’t eat it and had to share with the person who ordered the lamb and chicken shish. Vile person and vile food.

Ordered a kebab online for collection and was told it would be 25 minutes. I turned up 5 minutes early and was told it would be late as they had just started cooking a new kebab. They offered free delivery (as I was only about 90 seconds drive away!!!!) in about 10 minutes, which I accepted. Eventually 85 minutes after I ordered and an hour after it was supposed to be ready it turned up. The meat and salad were very nice, however the pitta bread was stale and welded to the container. When trying to peel the bread from the cardboard paper container the bread came away with a layer of paper still attached, and couldn't be removed, making the bread inedible. Only reason this rating is as high as a 2 is that the meat and salad were nice.

Walked past this new kebab house and it looked so lovely and immaculate so we thought we would try. Chatted to lovely staff and ordered online later for home delivery. It was absolutely delicious and had speedy delivery .

Very poor food. This is not a proper kebab house. Chicken Shish cooked in a panini maker not over coals and only 4 pieces. Very little salad with no chilli peppers , red or white cabbage. Charging full price though. Shan't be going there again.

We ordered from Castletown Kebabs for the first time this evening, and our food was absolutely delicious. We have tried lots of different takeaways around Weymouth and Portland, and can say without a doubt that was the most excellent food we've had in years. My partner's kebab and sauce was delicious, and cooked to perfection. I had the chicken burger which was absolutely perfect. The chicken was also made of proper breast chunks, rather than the processed stuff you get at other places. The delivery man was also so friendly and polite - a small part of the experience but still appreciated. We will be back to try more items from the menu ASAP! It was around £25 for a small cheesy chips, a small curly fries, a mixed kebab, a chicken burger, and 2 portions of popcorn chicken, which is very reasonable considering the quality. And if you're wondering whether or not to place an order - you won't regret it if you do.

First time ordering tonight, so so so good all the food we ordered was fresh and hot!!! The crispy chicken is so good better than ANYWHERE we have had!! Mixed pakoras were so delicious other takeaways should take note from these guys banging food good portions great price give it a go!!!!!

Ordered for the first time and for 4 people cost £23 which I think it’s absolutely fantastic. Food was incredible will deffo be back

I was out walking my Husky near Portland Castle when I began to smell delicious food and hear the happy chatter of people together. To my surprise and delight I stumbled across CastleTown Kebabs and a friendly staff member gave me a menu and fussed over my Husky (outside the restaurant of course!) That evening we decided to treat ourselves to a take-away from them and we were not disappointed. We’d left it quite late and it was 10.30PM when I called to place an order. Once again I was met with a friendly voice over the phone, my order taken swiftly with dietary requirements checked and personal preferences - we ordered a lamb doner and a chicken shish and I was offered salad options and a choice of it being served on Naan or Pita. I also ordered chips with cheese. I completed my call and immediately received a text thanking me for my order and a second text when my food was ready to collect. The food was served in compostable packaging and wrapped in recyclable paper, so I was impressed with the sustainability factor too. And now for the food. The chips were loaded with cheese, hooray! Most takeaways are quite stingy with their cheese. The chicken shish was so delicious and flavoursome as was the doner kebab. The garlic mayonnaise was awesome (next time I will ask for more if possible because it was just so good!). I will definitely be treating us to another takeaway soon. Thank you CastleTown Kebabs!

Came to this kebab shop unsure of what we would find, absolutely stunning . Best value for money kebab shop I’ve eaten at. Portions are Perfect and the owners were very kind ! 10/10
