Decided to treat myself to a meal outside of our dining plan, stumbled across this place however, upon eating the dry chicken wrap I became severely unwell throwing up all day.

Absolutely terrible bacon was over cooked and dry and when I said something about it the cook came out the kitchen asking if I had problems with her bacon and thought a piece on my plate from a feet distance. Portions very small good they close Morrisons cafes

Poor service, 12 minutes to be asked what we wanted, that was after me asking. Then a further 12 minutes for drinks to arrive without the tea cakes we ordered. Finished drinks still no sign of the food, no explanation or apology. My coffee cup was half full when the table beside ordered the same and got a full cup with a biscuit. This was about the worse café experience I have ever had.

On hols went in with no idea of how nice it would be ,all great service food atmosphere will be going again

The Quay Inn, the old saying says "Any port in a storm" but, if I pulled up at this port, I'd seriously consider braving the storm. I wandered down the seafront on a glorious spring day. The sun was beaming down on me. Nigel the ostrich had reached Land's End and was halfway across the Atlantic Ocean. The old woman was still clutching the reins for dear life. I heard the Navy had been deployed in an effort to rescue her... Anyway, I was once again hungry and decided to call into the Quay Inn. I looked at the menu and was impressed by the variety of food. However, the prices of the goods were a little scary. But, I'm on holiday, I thought. So why not treat myself? I sat down in the window seat on the left-hand side of the raised platform overlooking the ocean. I read the menu and the specials board. I ordered a pint of scrumpy, and it was crisp and refreshing. I ordered the Halloumi fries as a starter, the minted lamb shank with mashed potatoes and gravy, and the belly pork for my main. I waited a little while, not too long, for my starter to arrive. The fries were awful. The Halloumi was horrible. It was bland and clearly cooked from frozen. The minted lamb shank was sous-vide, and bought in, in bulk. Everything was so-so. Don't get me wrong, the lamb was tasty, but it lacked any passion. However, I have to now sadly move onto the pork... oh deary me... It was drier than an Egyptian mummy. The center of the rolled pork was so hard and dry, I honestly thought it was a bone. It was so dry and hard I feared, as I chewed it, I'd choke on one of the splinters. I honestly think a woodpecker would have difficulty piercing the meat. Hell, I bet a bloody jackhammer would struggle. Quay Inn 2/5 (Danny and the young lady who served me, as well as the cider, were the only redeeming qualities)

We have had takeaways from here a few times, unfortunately they have become worse, to the pont that we couldn't eat some of the dishes this time. I normally wouldn't leave a review but it is rare that I receive food that is so unpleasant, it can't be eaten. When we phoned to discuss the problem, we were faced with a very unhelpful child, who seems to be in charge of answering the phones. The customer service is shocking, as is the food. I'd do yourself a favor and avoid this place. I won't be returning.

Brilliant, old fashion, restaurant/cafe great food, excellent service. A hidden gem on the 1st floor in the centre of town. Well spaced out tables.

Apparently use to be a good place. But appears to have gone down hill. Although we ate in staff don’t deliver food to the table and also your expected to clean table yourself The ice cream sundae was about as different as it could possibly be in the pictures couple of scoops in a plastic drinks glass with cheap whip cream. Better off just buying an ice cream

Land lady is a complete fruit loop, beware! She will involve you in family arguments, drag you into things that are not your concern and then blame you for getting involved even though you've told her not to involve you!

Ordered via the app for table service, it was very quiet in there. Maybe 3 other tables with people eating. Food came out really quickly and order was correct, the chips were lovely and no ice in my drink as ordered however the burger (the main part of the meal) was vile, it was drenched with fat, I soaked up some on the serviette but it was really bad, I even googled to see if they were deep frying their burgers that's how bad it was. It was slop!! Will never bother going there again after that experience, ate chips 🍟 but chucked the greasy burger 🍔

Further to the recent bad reviews, including mine, this 'cafe' is now up for sale for £750,000. No surprise - the writing was on the wall for a long time. Surely a good opportunity for someone - the location is ideal.

Bien, ¿qué podemos decir de aquí más que en el tiempo que era un lugar para detenerse y comer como teníamos hambre en un viaje de regreso a casa desde el norte no era nada especial, pero igualmente no era demasiado malo, así que en conjunto era "normal".

Food was awful pitta bread like a rock chips died twice burger ok kebab average. Will not recommend

Since moving to the Minehead area my family and I have been visiting Morrisons cafe fairly regularly. I really must say the staff Meri, Linda, Lily and Max have always been so nice to us and have always made sure we have a great experience. Great asset to the store.
