Bien, ¿qué podemos decir de aquí más que en el tiempo que era un lugar para detenerse y comer como teníamos hambre en un viaje de regreso a casa desde el norte no era nada especial, pero igualmente no era demasiado malo, así que en conjunto era "normal".

I visited Waitrose and Starbucks. The staff in both concessions were so helpful and polite. Clean and well stocked with a good variety of facilities and choice.

Visited here during a long trip for breakfast, and was underwhelmed by the experience. We arrived at around 830, a time at which you would expect peak demand I would have thought. Unfortunately the company obviously didn't recognise this and seemed to only be employing three staff to cover the whole breakfast service (hot food, drinks, tills). There were around about four ahead of us in the queue but it still took over ten minutes for us to get to the front. Most people were ordering certain variants of the Full English Breakfast, but the staff clearly couldn't cope with the demand, as eggs were pretty much being cooked to order, and other items had to be constantly replenished. People were complaining that there eggs were undercooked due to this rush and indeed mine had a large layer of uncooked egg white attached to it. The rest of the full English was mediocre; really poor quality sausages, average bacon etc etc, and very underdone toast. The man serving the drinks had the easy job, although he was manning the tills too. There was no milk in the dispenser; I had to request some and he gave me a jug and asked me to take it to the dispenser! And all this for £7 - not good value. An OK option, but wasn't worth the wait at all.

Brilliant, old fashion, restaurant/cafe great food, excellent service. A hidden gem on the 1st floor in the centre of town. Well spaced out tables.

Being regular visitors to Porlock, we have experienced this pub under different management throughout the year. The new decour is fabulous and the bingo and quiz nights are a great new touch but plea

Popped my head in this place to ask if food available to be met by a rather curt landlord who said 'you've got 15 minutes to order if you want food'. We went back later just for drinks, but despite c

Good place to eat and sleep, although there is music till 11pm. Bedroom was clean, but I could only open 1 of 4 windows.

No choice on site, no competition so this is what you get. Mediocre, to say the least. Chips are cardboard Bland’s and we had sausages which were shrivelled and more like rock! Peas were tasteless.
