The best restaurants serving Default food in Tavistock North West Devon South West

Really decent breakfast for a fair price. Good quality and wait not too long at a busy time at lunch on a Saturday. Will be back.

Was a nice little restaurant but as of 5th April, it seems to have closed down. Perhaps for a refurb? Hope this is the case..

First time in Tavistock in many years. Seen the stranded sheep as walking pass. Looked at the menu board and seen No 2 on the board and I had to try it. First bite was great and till the end was even better. Definitely worth a try again. Lovely service too. Thank you very much

Whilst entertaining important business associates I stumbled upon this fine establishment. Nestled in the heart of the town, this spectacular restaurant took us by surprise. The atmospheric lighting, the carefully curated decor and the maitre d (I believe was called Ben) was extremely welcoming. The owner, Oliver, was very friendly and very informative about the origin of the Michelin grade menu and had a charm that was not wasted on my party.

Lovely hotel, only 1 night stayed

Our first visit here and a lovely experience all round. We were served the most delicious, traditional Bangladeshi food that was cooked to perfection. In fact, the very best Bangladeshi Curry we have eaten in years. The staff were very friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere was welcoming. Fresh flowers on each table made a special addition. We can highly recommend to others and we will return soon.

Circumstances made me a lone visitor in the early evening and as, for most of the time, I was the only one there I cannot offer comments about atmosphere or speed of service at busy times, though my meal came quickly. Excellent food, though I felt it was expensive.

I hadn't been to the Original Pasty House in Plymouth for a while but found it alist deserted apart from the staff when I went there this afternoon at around 2pmish. I was quite shocked as it's usually been busy when I go there but I soon realised why it was empty. Apparently less quality and more pre-made food has been deemed more appropriate for the Plymouth customers. I chose a pre-packed wrap, had it toasted but struggled to eat it as it feels fell to pieces and was watery. The wooden cutlery didn't help either and even if you eat inside the shop you have to have a takeaway cup. The cost has also risen despite less quality. I doubt I will ever eat there again, thanks to the owner's poor decisions.
