The best restaurants serving Default food in Oakdale Poole South West

Have been meaning to visit Rob’s Filling Station for a while. Despite our late arrival everyone was very friendly and welcoming and the food was excellent, good value too. I had steak and my wife and son both had pizzas. Definitely looking forward to a return visit.

Very nice and people were lovely food was fresh and a nice atmosphere and food is good . Lunch is nice too

We really enjoyed our pie deal meal which was great value. Recommend the vegan chicken and mushroom pie. The owner is so welcoming and gave us lots of suggestions of places to visit as we are on holiday. The chip shop was recommended to us from someone in Southbourne and so pleased we visited. Best chips we have had in a long time.

Delivered on time, and an absolutely delicious Pathia and Passanda. Arguably one of the best Indian takeaways we've had! Will definitely be ordering from here again!

Waited to be shown to our table (table prebooked). Waited another 10/15 minutes to be asked if we’d like a drink. Waited nearly half an hour til I got up and went to the bar to enquire where they were. Food served after about an hour. Missing salad which still never arrived after notifying the waitress. Overall, food ok but service was pretty terrible in a restaurant that was not overly busy.

Didn't bother making my food on just eat but accept the order left me for hours thinking I was going to get it

I think this has changed ownership. I ordered my usual currys and it looked and tasted different. The lamb curry was very chewy and it was not very tasty. Very disappointing. I won't be going back.

Haven't used wongs dragon a while. Had some friends come and stay,so I suggested that we get a takeaway. I said that we used to get our takeaways from wongs dragon. So we decided to get a delivery..when the food arrived we all started eating and straight away I thought to myself that it must be new owners because the food was absolutely rubbish 🗑..I've never felt so embarrassed in all my life. Never ever again.

Disgusting, filthy kitchen. This place should be closed down. The food may taste ok but if you could see behind the scenes you would never eat here again. Frozen food reheated and left out all day and night. Food hygiene rating of 1 a few years ago.

Missing items on drive through so too late to rectify

Uninterested staff and poorly cooked, greasy food. The food portion size is a joke compared to what they charge for it, the place is uninviting and cold. The individual cooking was more interested in her paper than she was in what she prepared. When this place was the Oakdale Fisheries it was 1st class… now, you’re better off heading to the Tatnam or to Creekmoor to spend your money.

Estimated Delivery time 60 Mins from ordering, arrived an hour and 40 minutes later. Meal was warm at best and the smallest portion of rice and naan possible. Charged £1.00 delivery for 1/4 mile if that! Fab when it was the previous Joy but won’t be using these again.

Was quite sceptical after reading the derogatory reviews, but had no need to worry. Picked up two large haddock with chips at the time ordered. Quite delicious fish, one of the best I have eaten. Will definitely return.

This is only the second time I've been in here.. The last time was before lockdown, when we ordered coffee which was luke-warm. We complained and was met with a very curt reply, " we aren't allowed to make it too hot. Health and Safety!" We said we'd like it warming up but they refused. We came back today, as it appeared to be under a new name "Coffee Society" We had to pay an extra 60p per cup for oat milk, and again it was Luke warm. Had to order a pot of boiling water to warm it up ( which made it really weak. ) £8.45 for 2 drinks!!! Looking up, there were cobwebs everywhere, and it wasn't very clean. Never again.
