Popped in for a light lunch. Slightly concerned by the dirty state of the place but seemed fairly busy so presumed it may be surprisingly good. It wasn't. £6.95 for a sausage sandwich made up of 1.5 TEPID sausages. Thin bread. So little butter I couldnt see it. Waste of calories. On the plus the staff were friendly and there was lots of them. Maybe some of them would be better spent cleaning. Absolutely would not recommend.

We dropped in on the off chance based on the reviews that we’d read. I had tried to call to book a table but got no reply from either number. We didn’t feel at all welcome when we did drop in and didn’t bother staying for food. Won’t be visiting again.

We were staying nearby and this restaurant was recommended to us. We arrived and were quickly seated, order taken promptly and despite a large table already in, we were served very quickly. The starter of Chicken Skewers was delicious. The main course of Sizzling Duck was also promptly served and was very tasty. Our daughter was given a special noodle dish, which she devoured and her own chopsticks. Great attentive service by all the staff and compliments to the kitchen,

I do like Starbucks but lately, in some of them, the service has been slacking. Coffe 1 tough, improved much. The coffees are great but more so, this place is clean, friendly, cosy and the service with caring are impeccable. Can it be true? Yes. And in this society which needs to slow down and reconmect with each other and our environment, Coffee 1 is holistic in mind. I love their ethical coffees.too. Having been trained in France within Catering, worked there too in Hotels as well as in the UK, including Customer and Private Service even Retail,.USA included, for more than 20 years, I appreciate a great service. That speaking, Jeanette B, a barista there, is angelic indeed!
