Excellent simple food and charming service. The Lardy Cake was superb. All food beautifully prepared on the premises.

Absolutely delicious bakery. Popped in on our way home from Cornwall. Had delicious flans and salad. Took some fabulous filled baguettes home and the best cinnamon buns I’ve ever tasted. Highly recommended

Best scones I’ve EVER had. They were light and buttery but not crumbly. The perfect scone. I could eat them every day for the rest of my life. My go back later and pick up cheeky seconds. Beautiful. Excellent. Tasty. Every positive adjective you could think up, they were that. 10/10 would recommend.

A very strange price structure menu possibly spoils what is excellent fare. The two small tables inside must make a fortune, compared to taking it away in a bag or box. Best to read every thing very carefully.

I decided to eat in and the menu outside stated £4.00 for a bacon sandwich. The sandwich was nice. I was then charged £7.50 for the sandwich. There did not appear to be an ‘eat in’ price list. Bad practice.

£5.95 advertised for take out baguettes is much cheaper than their eat in option! After ordering we changed our minds and thought we'd eat in as it was only a quick lunch. We were told it was a different price to eat in....the server then asked us to pay at the end because their machine was slow .... A £14 take out option transformed into a £25 eat in bill. We were in for approx 20 mins! 2 X average baguettes, a pot of tea and a sprite.

This small café sells food to be taken away but they also have 3 small tables inside. My friend and I chose what we wanted to eat inside from their window display. The 2 identical items were clearly priced £2.30 each. Plus we both had a coffee. They knew we were eating inside and never mentioned a surcharge! What we chose was tasteless and disappointing. When we went to pay they imposed a surcharge of over £2 each to our bill for sitting inside. What should have amounted to £10.60 was £14.80! There was nothing in the café or outside to warn us of this and neither was it mentioned when we ordered. This is extortionate! There is a large, very good café next door and I suggest you go there in future. We will!!!

Had a nice lunch in this busy bakery. There is limited seating, but an extensive menu. Food was nice and reasonably, if there is a seat, go in and enjoy

This spot is great for families, the cake was amazing too. The employees were so helpful. It is nice to see a small business thriving.

We stopped off in Honiton on our way back from Cornwall. We had the full English breakfast, which was delicious. The staff were very pleasant and efficient and the cafe was altogether charming, with teapots and fresh rolls and bread also for sale!

We were lucky to get a table for two here and felt sorry for the four people who came in shortly afterwards and had to go elsewhere. They really missed a treat. We enjoyed fabulous well-filled sandwiches and looking at all the delicious cakes and savouries on display in the window. Wish we lived nearer although we'd be twice the size as food this good is impossible to resist. We will certainly make a beeline for this place when we are on our way to the coast again.

We stopped in Honiton for a quick lunch driving home to Poole from Cornwall. My husband and I both had the mint and Pea Soup. It was well flavoured and hot serve with nice wholemeal bread. We also bought a treacle tart and lardy cake for later. My treacle tart was excellent- not too sweet, nice thin pastry, My husband said his lardy cake was great! We noted there was a good choice of lovely salads, baguettes, pananis, x 3 small tables inside also takeaway clean loo upstairs! Would highly recommend this cafe service good and waitress polite and friendly.

Second time visiting Jolly bee’s. Absolutely amazing. Service was great both times, friendly and smiley. Amazing range of food, all done fresh - yummy! Couldn’t fault it, good value aswell ☺️

Ha anche un paio di tavolini all'interno dove ci si può sedere per prendere qualcosa da bere e mangiare. Questa mattina ci siamo fermati qui per una sosta mangereccia. Io ho preso una fetta di torta al caffè ricoperta di caramello e un tè al latte; la persona che mi accompagnava invece, una frittata di verdure con contorno di insalata e una tazzona di cioccolata calda. La torta era discreta e il tè buono (ma in Inghilterra è buono dappertutto). La frittata invece era completamente insipida (come spesso in Inghilterra) e la cioccolata leggermente acquosa. I prezzi nella media inglese.

On vacation in Devon, from Michigan, I loved Jolly Bee’s food in Honiton, Breakfast English style and some bakewell tart, Made and served with a smile from a big warm heart, I can’t wait to be back for a Chelsea bun.

Great for fresh quiche and super fresh salads. Sandwiches made to go and hot snacks available also. Really happy and friendly shop.

Amazing homemade cakes and the sandwiches huge and very good. A good range of fillings and prepared while you wait.

We travel to Devon an awful lot during the year to see family as we live in the Midlands, and above all we really appreciate being able to sit and enjoy this beautiful cafe. Excellent presentation of food and pastries, warm and welcoming staff definitely worth a visit if in the area. Simply the best on the high Street 🥐🍞🥖🍞🧀

Don’t even know where to start, aside from asking us our order over 7 times they STILL managed to get it wrong. Not sure what’s hard to understand about two sausage and egg baguettes and one sausage and bacon baguette. Aside from that the sausages and bacon were MICROWAVED, absolutely appalling service and even worse food. STAY AWAY!

Although cafe closed due to Coronavirus we got takeaway coffee here. They do great cakes and filled baguettes too. Very friendly service by nice Filipino lady. Will be back as soon as cafe side reopens.

The best vanilla sponge cake ever! Got a cake here last week for a colleagues birthday. Will definitely come back for more.👍

Was looking for somewhere to grab a coffee and a cake and found this tiny gem! Amazing cakes at a great price and a nice coffee too. Staff friendly and helpful, will stop here to eat in or takeaway again.

Stopped off in Honiton on way to Devon. Great selection of cakes. All home made. I had a coffee and treacle tart. Meat pie ordered too. Reasonably priced. Can sit in or take out.

Popped in for a late afternoon snack and drink on a wet Friday afternoon. We were very close to closing time but staff were so helpful and friendly and couldn't have done more to make us feel welcome. Beef, stilton and chutney paninis were delicious...

I am local in Honiton and used to go to the other cafe in the other side of the town but now we regularly go to the jollybees kitchen...cakes are amazing all freshly baked and delicious, I always have some slices to take home after...

We are local and used to be regulars here. We have tried it many times since it changed hands and The Kitchen on the Corner was renamed Jollybees Kitchen. Oh dear, how things have deteriorated. They don't even make Applecake any more, surely a winner...
