This pub has a Friendly atmosphere, with great tasting beer! They welcome people with dogs.

It's OK if your foul mouthed and enjoy the company of people who can barely string a sentence together. Oh and the stench of second hand cigarette smoke in the side and entrance. Saw alot of builders cracks too unfortunately

Not our usual place but we enjoyed having a few drinks outside listening to the live band they had playing that night and was a good atmosphere.they have heaters outside for those cooler nights as well and seating areas so all round we give it a thumbs up :)

Went to watch Torpoint FC against Honiton today, as the club house bar wasn't open when we turned up ended up in The Volunteer, what a great pub , locals made us very welcome , lovely set up , thank you

Great proper "local" with a good selection of ales/lagers etc. Welcoming and friendly, and some good tunes on the juke box!

We stayed in Honiton for a week and myself and my family went to the pub 2 nights in a row and got chatting to the locals and felt very welcome. On the 3rd night we got told “ due to everything that’s going on we are not allowing under 18’s In” After being made to feel so welcome ended up feeling extremely angry and unwelcome.

Great atmosphere for a good night out and the staff are lovely. A large outdoor smoking area and good seating indoors for the size of the space. There's a pool table and a darts board. And on top of that it's located in a good area next to the police station so you'll feel safe as can be if there's any trouble - which, in Honiton, even on a Saturday night is a rarity.

Probablemente este que creo que es el más antiguo pub propiamente izquierda restante en Honiton. Aún tiene bolos y un tablero de dardos. La cerveza está bien cuidado el personal son un grupo feliz. La clientela es muy variada. Los publicanos hemos estado aquí mucho tiempo y saber lo que están haciendo. Es muy perro frienndly que siempre va un largo camino conmigo. Tienen unas noches de música me dicen no a uno yo. sinnumero Pero se lo recomendaría como un buen pub antiguo.

They made a white Russian. Nowhere else locally would. What else can I say, these people go above and beyond.

I my wife and I have been at the Volly for 19 years and have consistently been the busiest pub in town surly speaks for its self dosnt it we dont have idiots or sofas!!!

A proper drinking pub with proper barmaids.

Best pub in town. Don't go there if you don't like good music and fab people on a saturday & sunday night. In fact if you are boring don't go there at all we don't need you.

Go somewhere else, this place is awful. My brother got fleas from a sofa, the music is so loud you have to shout and the decor is like something out of a bathroom. Avoid!

I hate Pubs. But, The Volly is OK. I don't like going there but it's good for other people who enjoy pubs
