Ali's Kebab House in East Devon

To be very good takeaway around here this is a twice time I am coming to Taykaway absolutely this is the best place and a very good staff friendly and a very clear t. I’m going to the takeaway. I work in five minutes already a pizza so anyway, everybody coming that is Taykaway Absolutely best.🙏♥️

Absolutely banging! I got a big BBQ chicken pizza and some hot wings. Ordered easily online, got confirmation and it arrived within 30 minutes, on top of that, the delivery guy even did as I asked and didn't ring the door bell which wakes my son up.... What a treat! 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥

Absolutely delicious! My husband and I needed a a quick drop off for food enroute to Cornwall. Both the lamb kebab and gourmet burger was absolutely fantastic ! We will come back

Went to the shop after Ryan windridges video, unfortunately the kebab meat was uncercooked looked white as owt, was debating whether to give rest to the dog but decided against it.

Went to this kebab shop after my mate Mason recommended me it. The meat was void of any flavour and was slimy. Not sure what animal this meat has came from but must of been the cheapest wholesale kebab meat the shop could find, probably illegally imported.

My usual kebab spot in Dunkesswell was shut, so did a quick Google and found Ali's. I can honestly say the chicken and lamb shish kebabs we had were the best yet. Large and succulent chunks of chargrilled meat, fresh salad and even some grilled vegetables on the chicken one. I will be making this my new place for tasty food.

Just ordered to otter falls.. here on holiday guys where willing to send to us out in the sticks. Food was unreal! Some of the best take away we have had all very happy had pizza, chips and kababs all lush highly recommended! Thank you

Went to Ali's for the first time as we fancied a kebab. We were extremely pleased with the service. The food excellent and the portions just right. Will definitely buy from here again

Ali and Family are the best people and they serve delicious meals, clean environment great rates and fresh food.

My acquaintances and I were delighted with the sheer excellence demonstrated by the talented culinary experts working within this marvellous establishment. Put simply, the sustenance provided was exquisite, showcasing the finest ingredients in which I can only presume are locally sourced. I am reliably informed that the front of house attendant upheld tremendous levels of client service towards my houseboy, whom attended the restaurant to receive my nourishment, this feedback was inclusive of an extended conversation arranging the rather serious matter of my delicately fried potato lengths being deliciously seasoned with the finest cheese one can acquire. I will ensure that my upmost recommendation is thoroughly distributed throughout my social circles.

We have been using Ali’s for over 20 years and have never been disappointed. We always collect our food as we are outside the delivery area. In the past we have telephoned our orders through which has been great but they have now introduced ordering on-line, which we also use. Mo and his team, particularly Unus have always looked after us and in our opinion, they are the best.

Dropped in on my way home after watching Ottery St Mary FC play, and I’m glad I did . Top notch doner kebab, tasty meat and very good fresh salad . All good, recommended.

I’ve been using Mo’s kebab shop for 20 years, the food has always been excellent. Mo is a nice guy and his prices are fair. But I cannot let tonight’s effort pass. I phoned my order in and was greeted by a youngster with ZERO customer service skills and an even poorer attitude. I was told at first that cheese couldn’t be removed from a burger (seriously?!) and only when the youngster asked an adult, did common sense prevail. Then, before I could complete my order, the youngster started to read my order back to me….so fast that I couldn’t understand him. I asked him to slow down and repeat it and on doing so, I pointed out that it was incorrect. He sarcastically told me I hadn’t ordered sauce or salad! I lost my temper a little at this point and told him how poor his customer service skills were and that, waiting for the customer to complete their order is probably best. To their credit, the adults were friendly and professional when dealing with me and they must have heard the telephone conversation; it would have been easy for them to take the youngster’s side. I’m not a fan of negativity but his attitude was SO poor that I feel I need to post this. And to Mo, on seeing this lad, he does have a resemblance to you and I’m sorry for moaning if he’s your son, but his attitude did you no favours.

Ordered food online for delivery, after 1 hour, rang to find out when food would arrive. Was informed they were busy. After a further 20 minutes, I decided to go and collect. Was enjoy my dinner until I found a dead fly in my meat.

Food was ok for the time of the night as we went about an hour before closing. Multiple options, pizza, chicken and kebabs.

I had never ordered from Ali’s before and ordered online so I didn’t have to wait in store. Unfortunately this didn’t go to plan and I waited an extra 30 mins but the food was fresh. I got exactly what I asked for and I have no complaints. It’s not the best but far from the worst. The garlic bread was very nice 👌🏻 They were flat out with an hour wait time for delivery so I’d say best to go in person, order and then pop in the pub!

Absolutely vile food over cooked donner meat that tastes like rubber and a chicken burger that’s pink and raw, I don’t usually do reviews but this must have been the worst food I’ve been served in the local area

Rude manager Rubbish Food Ordered £45 amnt. charged extra for delivery Took 1:40 mjns to arrive. Absolute rubbish food it’s not the first time so avoid this.

Order from here regularly. Normally have a mixed kebab. Had a chicken burger tonight and too my disappointment you no longer get a nice tasty bit of chicken breast. But they’ve replaced it with a disgusting battered thin bit of chicken if you can call it that. Bring back the lovely thick chicken breast burger.

Been eating here for over 2 decades now and never tried the Alis mighty burger until yesterday and OMG it was incredible. 👌 They have always been very welcoming and friendly and the food quality has always been good. I'd recommend trying to avoid the peak Friday and Saturday evenings as they are often mega busy. The spicy chicken wings and pieces of chicken are dangerously good too... Keep it up.

i don't go to fast food much but when i went here i met really nice staff who were quick, friendly and helpful the food was nice and quick to be made it made my day just that much better

Polite and clean place. Very busy that normally is a good sign. I ordered pizza, chips and a chicken wrap. The pizza and chips were both great. Unfortunately the chicken in the wrap was not great, and was very slimy. We had no sauce added so unsure why it would be like that. But would definitely return for pizza and chip.

Ordered food.. over an hour later, I phoned them to ask where it was and he said he was dispatching it.. over 30 mins more, we finally got the food. The order was wrong. I phoned back up and it was excuse after excuse.. 30 more minutes later, I still haven’t seen my food. They have got my past 3 orders wrong now.. customer service here is a joke.

Very very tasty. I had the half pounder cheese burger and chips loaded with onion rings and and garlic mayo. I’d recommend ordering online as it was very busy when I arrived to collect. The food on display also look delicious. Looking forward to my next meal.

My favourite place to eat in Honiton. While waiting for my chicken kebab I took a look at the fried chicken and decided I'd try that next time. I was surprised when Unice then gave me a box of the fried chicken along with my order. Such kindness. I ate the chicken as I walked back to the car - wow! Hot, tender, succulent, spicy - it couldn't have been better. Thank you Unice you are a true gentleman and thank you Alis kebabs. PS Do try the baklava if you want a sweet end to your meal. It's delcious.

Ordered a bbq pizza a country pizza and cheesy chips. Chips had no cheese and were cold, had to warm them up but were ok chips. The country pizza was good, the bbq was dead.

Hi my name is Tom and me and my partner ordered a delivery from alis kebab house last night, as usual I just can't begin to tell you the kindness and care they show you when it comes to your custom and your food you order. The pizzas are honestly the best pizza we both have ever had, there kebabs are so juicy and delicious. They deliver your food to you in perfect timing when you are very hungry. I highly highly recommend this place and I can assure you, you won't be disappointed. The staff are genuinely extremely helpful and friendly. We look forward to our next food order delivery in the near future. YUM!!!. Thanks guys! 10/10.

Pretty poor quality. Pizza base was soft and fluffy like a sponge cake and the toppings were flavourless. Won't be using again.

All of Alis team are lovely and always welcoming. Kebabs and burgers are delicious would highly recommend this place to anyone.

Normally order from Ali’s and normally pretty good. Sometimes however, the portion sizes change a lot when the same item is ordered. However, my recent order was poor! 90 minutes to get it delivered and part was cold, part was missing. Phoned up to mentioned the missing parts. Customer service was poor and not even a sorry. Nearly 30 more minutes, I got the missing items. Ordered through foodhub and mentioned to them about the wait time as I couldn’t get through to Ali’s and foodhub said they have denied everything.

Fast served but shame , they accepted just Cash....

On holiday from London and thought we'd have a kebab and found Ali's and thought it should be OK but was seriously disappointed the guy taking the order was as miserable as anything which was the first bad sign, we ordered 2 chicken shish and ended up with 2 lamb shish so not what we wanted also the portions are very small. This shop would never survive the fierce competition in London, the chilli sauce is too sweet and vinegary and tastes like its manufactured rather than self made. We're back in November and certainly will not revisit as its probably the worst kebab place we've ever visited.

Fantastic people, helpful polite and friendly. The food is first class, freshly cooked to order. Sometimes there is a wait as they can get very busy, but we'll worth the wait. Their fried chicken is so so tasty, far better than KFC by miles, if you are ever in Honiton visit Alis kebab House, you won't be disappointed.

Great food and great business. Rocked up after ordering nearly £40 of food online and went to pay using my phone. Oh dear no card payments accepted let alone contact less. Having no cash and no card to go to the cash point Ali ordered me away with a bag full of food to feed the kids and told ne to simply pop back later and pay him. This would not happen around my neck of the woods. After smashing every last scrap with the wife and kids, actually that's a lie as there was so much there's still some chicken left, I've been and paid the man and have a very happily fed family. Thanks Ali!

Hands down the best chicken kebabs I've ever eaten. Chargrilled to perfection, always mouthwateringly tender and rich in flavour. Keep up the great work!

Please do NOT order any food from this place, it's the 3rd time we order kebabs from this place and the same 3 times, next day we were poorly! Stomach cramps, diarrhoea, tummy hacke! This is a health and safety issue!

BIG NO NO NO! I do believe that this place has a health and safety problem.. Yesterday we ate kebabs from this place, apart from all the sauces being wrong which I believe they don't care for what the costumer asks this is something that happens constantly I've got all my kids, me and the wife poorly today! Do not eat from this shop!

Unfortunately we have ordered food from this place 3 times, the order is always incorrect, and every time we ate from this shop next day we're poorly with terrible bad stomach cramps and obviously the toilet becomes the best friend of everyone in the house. Came from out of town and glad we chose here for our takeaway. Really tasty and very generous portion sizes. Update: returned to the area 9 months later and ordered from here again - just as great as last time. Delicious!

Ordered food and had it delivered in 20 mins. Brilliant service. Food really well prepped. Kids loved chicken nuggets and chips. Missus had burger and I had lamb doner. Salad really fresh and enjoyable. Really recommend this place as we were passing through honiton.

We absolutely love the food from here,delivery service is fast also. We have fried chicken that literally taste like KFC and the cheese burgers are to die for and chicken burgers, the pizzas are very nice and the chips are also great. Best place in honiton for burgers etc.

Excellent quality ingredients. Shish and shashlik Meat cut and grilled very well with grilled vegetables, salad and a quality pitta bread. .
