The best restaurants serving Default food in Wadebridge West Cornwall, Isles of Scilly South West

This is a superb cafe, with a good selection of reasonably-priced food. The cooking is excellent and the service prompt. But there are no vegan options that I could see and only a couple of vegetarian choices. This is a real shame; they are really missing a trick here, as increasing numbers of people are now on plant-based diets. We saw two couples walk away today having read the outside menu, saying 'nothing for us'. Shame.

Very limited vegan options. And the 50p charge for non cows milk is unjustifiable. Very helpful and friendly staff helped to find something to eat. And it was tasty.

I came for lunch with 2 friends and brought our 3 very well behaved little dogs along too. A great choice of food on the menu as always here. The place is clean, the staff were really friendly and knowledgeable. When the food arrived, it was quick, hot and delicious. We all had different dishes and they were just great. Try it. You won't be disappointed.

We visited Wadebridge and stumbled upon this gem. Ordered food and when it came talk about massive and tasty well worth the money, chips were like doorsteps, omelette had loads of cheese and pieces of ham, my jacket potato with beans cheese and salad was to much and I couldn't finish it. You know a place is good when tables have been reserved and the locals are in attendance, well done. In London we pay the same prices but get a quarter of the amount. Really happy and staggered out full .

Visited twice during a 6 week period in 2019 and had different meals each time. We returned to see if we had got something wrong however this turned out not to be the case. What food we had was enjoyable however there simply was not enough of it to justify the spend - therefore it can be deemed as expensive for what we had. The staff are nice and the place itself also nice however just wish it was better value for money than was found. Drinks are also overpriced. As an example, a dessert mousse which I though would be quite rich and in abundance left me wanting for more as there was simply an inch in a glass with more oaty toppings than mousse and in a couple of small spoons it was gone. It would have been nice to have more for the money. Maybe the name Bistro gives it away and should have realised that we were only going to get "Pretty food" and not wholesome filling food but we live and learn. Doubt we would return for a third time sadly. UPDATE AUGUST 2022 THE BRIDGE BISTRO IS NO LONGER OPEN OR TRADING

Latte was only just warm and very weak, could not taste any coffee at all. Disappointing. I have been before and had the same experience.

The hotel's location, while reasonably priced, presented some accessibility challenges. Nighttime arrival proved particularly difficult due to the hotel's remote village setting; even in daylight, locating the hotel would be problematic. However, the rooms offered good value for the price, and the complimentary breakfast was a welcome amenity. The duty manager provided helpful guidance during our late-night arrival.

Best fish and chips I’ve had in a long time

We pre booked this restaurant in advance for the half term holiday 2024. I got an email confirmation of the booking and a further email reminder which I confirmed as requested. On the evening we travel 5 miles to the restaurant to find it closed with no explanation on the door, website or social media. Communication with this restaurant is very poor

Very good value and good quality food. Nice separate bar area and moderate surroundings in restaurant. Good selection of lunch and evening menus. Specials board for desserts

Great vibe with good music for a fun evening out (place close early). It has a bar and a few restaurant stalls serving up a wide range of food, from Mexican tacos to Asian street eats. One downside though, they don’t offer free tap water, which is a basic in 2025.

Friendly staff, good food. Worth a try, I've had several meals within a few weeks and they were all consistent.

The food was fantastic! Parking at the rear which is free after 4PM and honestly just a quality place to go for some different food. And the drinks selection was good aswell!
