YUMMIES PIZZA AND KEBAB in Cornwall, Isles of Scilly

Pizza & chips here were excellent! Great hot crispy Pizza & great chips! Well worth finding near the Camel Trail - forget Rick Stein!

I used to go here a lot a couple years ago and they had the best chicken wings I'd ever had . But its seems to have new people working there now and have changed recipes and not just on the wings the chicken there is trash now and I wont be going back anymore reading this go chicken house instead

Amazing food, the amount of food I had, I had a large magic box, so generous on portion well worth the 20 quid, definitely going to be a returning customer

I’ve just moved to the area and tried this place out, fantastic food, brilliant staff, if your thinking of getting a takeaway in this area look no farther!!

We ordered the magic box after working the dog show in Wadebridge. It was roughly 11 pm collection. It looked lovely in the box. But basically it's lamb kebab meat with chips. Oh and about 8 onion rings. It was warm when we got there so was almost cold when we got back to the hotel. The only salad was a fair bit of raw onion. Massive anti climax and dissapointment

We ordered 2 large chicken shish kebabs with extra chili sauce but the takeaway bags felt light weight on collection and on opening the kebabs were just about medium-sized. The pitta bread was seperate, the salad and chicken were underneath & without utensils or napkins to help construct the thing & clear up afterwards. Despite requesting extra chili sauce, it was missing. The self-assembly process was messy, as the pitta wasn't partly filled, resulting in half of the food being discarded due to mess & frustration. The meal was incomplete and overpriced, leading us to regret not choosing fish and chips elsewhere as first planned instead.

Service was not the best, items on the menu were no longer provided. The person who served us was a bit lost maybe new I don't know. The shish lamb kabab was very chewy not worth paying for the house special kabab. Items were not packed into the bags so we paid for something we didn't have. Overall this was a bad take away experience.

Please avoid chips and Lamb Shish kebab if you don’t want to be cheated. The Lamb Shish kebab were all chewing gums, I couldn’t find any eatable meat in them, all had to be chewed and removed (see photo of chewed and removed stuff). Cheap lamb pieces which lack meat are used for lamb Shish kebab. A shish kebab is usually eatable. The chips were dark brown in color and could make out that they were fried in the same oil that was used n number of times earlier before these went in, don’t know for how many days.. this is harmful for your health..we also ordered a pizza which was okay and a saver for the dinner..

Well what can I say about yummies, I placed an order in store and the staff was amazing so polite and friendly, got my order quickly and the food was yummy. Definitely go back

Very disappointed, kebab was a bit dry, asked for chilli sauce and wasn't given any, asked for 2 salads only received 1, Personally won't use again

The kebab itself was delicious, the salad was meh, so just get the meat which was awesome. Staff was nice and friendly and definitely will be going back again next time I want a kebab.

my partner & i are visiting on a holiday so we visited yummies to get a takeout to come back with, we ordered a doner meat & chips, cheese & bacon burger with cheesy chips. the staff themselves were welcoming & friendly, the doner meat itself was very flavourful, cut well & fairly hot. however, the burger wasn’t as good; the bottom bun edges were incredibly soggy, lettuce was quite vingery tasted as if it had been microwaved, chips on both meals were stale, cheese on the chips quite rubbery and had a weird taste.

Top people to bring a meal 7 of miles also the food was still hot and very tasty highly recommend yummies move to Weymouth you kebab you s banging pizza is good was well worth it they was less than time speculated which very happy the old guy who dropped it of very polite

Staff rude even shouted at their own delivery driver. Chips cooked in oil that needs changing. Kebab was pale. chilli sauce was essentially spicy pizza base !! Chicken kebab had three bits of chicken that looked like it came from KFC. If this is the best in Wadebridge I’ll recommend going elsewhere As you can see a great response from the poor restaurant ( and that term is used very loosely) staff. Clearly an honest review of their sub standard food which is tasteless, cold , pale, and on par to food waste, upset them and instead of taking action to remedy the issues they feel that berating people looks good on their dwindling rating. Personally a cooking restaurant or in this case cafe, might have to read up on basic food hygiene procedure and maybe remember to wear a hair net or wash hands in between handling food and sorting bags for delivery, or taking money. but what do I know. I only know that my account is verified and is used to spread awareness of the poor sub standard money grabbing “cafe” come back street eatery like this one, which is situated of the Main Street for a reason. So thank you for the response I’m sure it will increase my likes and ensure people stop wasting their hard earned money on your slop.

Yummies has been our go to takeaway for many years. The service is exemplary with friendly staff and always greeted with a smile. The food is always of a high quality, freshly prepared and ready for collection. They also offer delivery which is a challenge on it own on these areas of Cornwall.

Staff super friendly. Ordered with ease. Well priced. We placed a large order and didn't have to wait long. They kindly brought it out to the car for us along with a bottle of drink. We felt very welcome and appreciated. The food was really good. We had pizzas, chips, burgers and onion rings. If we are ever back that way we will return. Thank you 😁

We holiday here several times a year and have enjoyed it each and everytime, pizzas, nuggets, chips and burgers are all fab, garlic majo is yummy too. Always fresh and always hot, great service

I have been a regular and friend of Yummie's for over 20 years. I Love how friendly all of the team are and they have consistently looked after me with 'my usual' - chicken kebab with wrap bread. It's as good as you would get in Turkey - properly prepared and marinated and cooked to perfection. Yummie's does it the same every time and it doesn't disappoint, ever. The guys here live and breathe the place, total dedication to their customers (big shout to Volcan and Liz!) - thank you for looking after me for so long and for a long time to come, I hope! There's a certain breed of people who come to this part of our Beautiful Cornwall and do nothing but turn their noses up at everything we do - including leaving pathetic little comments & reviews on our thriving businesses and disrespect our communities. Please don't victimise places like Yummie's who work hard, 7 days a week, to serve it's people and guests. All our local people who are loyal to Yummie's and vice versa do not take lightly to fly-by-night negative reviews left by people who are never satisfied by anything they do or anywhere they go. Chicken kebab was not a kebab but rather chopped chicken. Salad only green, 1/2 tomato, sauce ok. No question about which size (s/l) and nothing about the waiting time.

Nasty pale kebab definitely not coming back. The food was cold and I only drove around the corner to eat it. I wouldn't even feed it to my dog to be honest

Absolutely awful! The donor meat I ordered was cut so thick it was sickly, it was stone cold, pale like it was very poorly. I had donor meat and chips and I had a very tiny handful of chips, I asked for a tiny bit of mayo, it was so much that the top of the lid was 1/4 full! Absolutely awful, bad customer service and not a care for the food. I would say to definitely avoid this place!

Very disappointing lamb kebab was dry as a dessert, I watched them take it from the pot and Reheat it on the grill no taste what so ever.Shame because was very nice before covid...... That's cut backs for you I guess!

Not the most yummiest. Decided to give a house special a try and was not impressed . After a drive back to tintagle we sat down to eat and found no salad in the box or bag ! Not impressed!! Also not impressed with the doner. It was extremely pale (see photo attached). Will not be running back any time soon .29/08/2022

I had a mixed shish and chicken kebab from here last night. The chicken was lovely chips were nice also plentiful but the shish meat was so tough I couldn't eat it, cheap meat all grissle could only chew it and spit it. Very disappointing.

Ordered Lamb Shish Wrap. Took 15 mins to be ready. The lamb was so fatty and chewy so most pieces were inedible. Pieces much too large. Crying baby in the restaurant for most of the time I was eating. Worst doner I have ever visited

Got a large Chicken shish Kebap and it was pretty small. The bread with it was really dry. The chicken was alright. And the Salad was pretty bad aswell.

Absolutely rubbish food. Ordered a shish kebab and got 4 pieces of tough meat thrown into a pita bread. Chili sauce was nice and fries were decent.

Yummies Wadebridge's no-nonsense, but beautiful tasting food is second to none. Their delivery is fast, the food always very good portions and fantastic value for money! It was Yummies that made me fall in love with Turkish food. Yummies helped knock Chinese cuisine down to second place. There is no place like Yummies. Long may they live! ❤️

Never ever has any southern fried chicken nowadays. Used them a lot in the past as I had not need to travel to get my chicken as it was local now they don't do southern fried chicken. So now I got to travel to Bodmin to get Southern fried chicken costing me time and petrol and the cost at KFC.

Kebabs were quite spicy but tasty (bad luck as we said yes to all sauces. Didn't expect it's going to be that spicy) , however the staff (girl with the dark hair) wasn't polite at all, not sure about the other people who are working there but this girl was at the till at the time and she was quite rude. First impression wasn't great. Wouldn't back there only because of her.

Came down from South Wales and always looked forward to yummies.How ever what we just add was discussing, £5 for a chicken sandwich 🥪 which was a dryer pice of chicken plastered in mayonnaise, the chips looked like they had been left over from last night, they were dry stick's, never again, what a waste of £14

It was a little substandard. pizza lacking in taste im afraid to say. Only a small amount of tomato base.😕 Would have been better with more. I had ham and mushroom. Plenty of cheese but the ham was a bit suspect.... 😒(mushy) Threw the second half away. Says it all i guess.
