Craftworks at Saltbox in Cornwall, Isles of Scilly

These guys are great! Defo recommend!

What a gem of a find this place was. it looks nothing from the outside as its just a couple of converted freight containers but we were looking for an early meal and this place was open. The food was mouth-wateringly fabulous. We had the salt burger special and the chicken kebab mezze and both were absolute class. If you’re in the area definitely call in as we’ll certainly go back there.

Food was absolutely stunning. The staff were super friendly too (especially with my 2 little girls). If I could pick it up and pop it closer to home I would. Amazing.

We stumbled across this place as the restaurant we were going to was closed. Well, thank goodness! The food was amazing! My daughter even told them it was the best vegetarian burger she has ever had! The Korean chicken burger was also amazing. The whole ambiance of the place made you feel like you were abroad and though it's a small place you didn't feel hemmed in. This was perfect street food! Can't wait to visit again.

We dropped on this little place and so glad we did. The food was amazing and everyone was catered for. We had someone with allergies and they were very happy and accommodating with this what was a breath of fresh air. We will be visiting again before we leave to. And if you fancy a grab and go they also do take outs that seemed really busy.

5 out of 5. Amazing food. Gluten free and did gluten free sweet potatoes fries. I had the pull pork salad which was delicious and great value. We had dogs and eat outside which was lovely. Great service

Great food and service, not a massive choice but every thing is well cooked, good ingredients and great flavour. Would only add cheese in the pork burrito and possible black beans/ flavoured rice. Chalupa sauce would be better than Sriracha.

Great burgers and chips . Clean, loads of easy parking. Bit of a light industrial location.

Not at Saltbox but on the opposite side of the road, opposite Lidl, on the corner. Stopped by on my bike ride from Bodmin. Staff were super friendly, the carrot cake was delish and I loved the coffee. Saw others with various hot food items which all looked great.

Just had a delicious meal at craftworks. The burritos were fantastic. Will certainly return and hopefully sample one of their cocktails!

Stopped here for dinner one night with my mum, great selection of food, drinks and dessert. The burrito, choc shake and cinnamon bun I had were all delicious, also stole a taste of my mums grub while she wasn't looking - also delish. Great customer service and if I could give extra stars for playing my fav band the hunna from the kitchen I would.

Great street food. We found by accident, had burgers and burritos with a couple of sides of Fries. Friendly and efficient service. The swine dirty fries are lovely and almost a meal in themselves. Will definitely go back again , next time we're in Wadebridge.

Wow. Came here on Saturday the 9th (last night as I’m writing this review) with my girlfriends. What a cool little place. We are from Liverpool visiting Cornwall for the weekend and googled places to eat and found this little gem. Was a pretty busy night but everything was spot on. Service was 5***** and the food, WOW! I had the king prawn tacos which were just simply amazing, full of flavour and so beautifully presented. My friends food looked just as good, they opted for a fish burrito and a katsu chicken burger. We got some dirty fries to share between us, and if you ever visit you HAVE to try these. Can’t wait to come back to Cornwall to visit these guys again. Well done to the chefs and guys working out the front, what a cool place!!

Delicious lunch of tacos, burritos and dirty fries. Look forward to visiting again in future, the evening menu of burgers looks great so we’ll definitely be back.

Have visited many times, both at their previous location and their new venue just a ross the road. Great food, super service and relaxed atmosphere. Drinks not half bad too! ;)

No longer at saltbox but just in eyeshot if you look towards lidls and then to the right across the road. Has fairy lights and umbrellas over their benches outside. Shared area with the camel trail hire bike place. I can see how people get a little confused about where they are. Love this place!! The food, the service is always perfect. This is laid back vibes, great crew who go above and beyond. Need something just holla and they come over or go up to the hatch. Nothing is too much trouble for these guys. Outside is perfect in this weather and such a sun trap. Great beers, cocktails, milkshakes, smoothies and coffee!!

We stopped by for some food and drink We ordered a beer and cocktails The food choice was pork taco spicy and burritos pork again Chips plain and one with Katsu The food was fresh and tasty For me the spicy version could have been a bit more spicy just lacked a bit of a punch but was still very nice Chips were well cooked Nice drinks Would recommend

We live in Cornwall and decided to try craftworks x so very glad we did! we was made so very welcome by all the staff and th food was outstanding x we couldn't fault the street food menu was a good variety and it tasted really good x They serve gluten free burger bun x and we will definitely be coming back x If your on holiday or live local call in x you can park at the back of liddles near th camel trail !!

Lovely staff, decent (perfect) portions, nice vibe. The food was epic, we had the vegan burger and the fish burger & some dirty fries. Not usually my style of food but was so clean tasting and tasted really fresh and delicious: both eat out a lot and both seriously impressed. Hard of to the chef (also the owner) & the staff!

Last minute choice for dinner whilst in Wadebridge. Team managed to fit all 11 of us in with no booking. Brilliant and awesome service from our waitress and top burgers and burritos. Everyone enjoyed the food including the kids. Can easily compete with some of the top 10 burger places in the country based on my experience. Will be back next time in Cornwall.

Where else would you want to eat on a Thursday night than in a shipping container? If you're thinking "no thanks" you are missing a culinary treat. Food here is fabulous with a capital fabulous - and there's plenty of it. Yummy!

Called in with the family and nobody was there to ask if we needed any food or drinks ordering so we just sat and waited and waited like dumplings and all the so called staff could do was keep serving the local people I take it ?? cans of coke !! .. wouldn't dream of calling there again .. very poor service all round

Great atmosphere, cheap for what you get too

Ordered take away of a Lone Star burger and dirty fries. The burger was tasty if a little dry but the fries were undercooked to the point that, after 3-4 fork fulls, ended up in the bin. For the price charged, I wasn't impressed.

Cool vibes little venue. This is the only option open at the beginning of lunch but no disappointment. We had a couple of amazing coffees and recommended cakes which went down so well. Lady in the shop is knowledgeable and pleasant to talk to. Beautiful...

We had coffee and a milkshake. All of our coffees were poor, they were all super bitter and yet weak. It has a nice atmosphere and vibe. Milkshake was lovely though!

Grabbed some shakes whilst we were near by. Absolutely fantastic. The presentation really gave a feast for the eyes. I went for the raspberry shake of the week and my partner went for salted caramel. Both gorgeous and large portions!

We went here twice whilst staying in Wadebridge, we ate and sat downstairs and sampled food from the different eateries - Pizza, Indian, Craftworks. The food and service was great and we loved the atmosphere.

Great place to grab dinner! We had a combination of the Craftworks food and Pizza. Both were excellent, especially the fish tacos. Service was excellent, all the staff were really friendly and food arrived in good time. Good selection of drinks on offer too. Highly recommended!

I love to see new enterprises thrive but, £15 for a Pint and 2 halves of Cider?! Extortionate. This is just ridiculous and a total rip off. Shame as food was really good. Won't visit again for a drink but, will get takeaway Pizza again.

We love craftworks - the food is incredible. We are lucky enough to holiday in Cornwall approx every other month and we can never resist a visit to craftworks while we are here! The food has always been so good and the service is great too. Highly recommend to anyone thinking of visiting!

Popped in by recommendation of Antony from Drakdom. Now, I'm a real foodie and big coffee drinker... And this place not only delivered, but blew away my expectations of breakfast & coffee out! In fact we consider ourselves spoilt now, because they have set a new bar, not only for food, not only for service but also for coffee... I don't know what blend of coffee they use, but it has got to be one of the best, no, the, best singular cup of coffee I have ever paid for! Just takeaway, but the food is excellent. Try the beef brisket tacos. Also had the peri peri buttermilk battered chicken special. Super crispy and just hot enough for my pallette. Only a four due to having to wait more than 40mins for our last order of five meals. All the food was well cooked and everyone enjoyed their meals. We didn't order ahead so perhaps the wait was more our fault than theirs. Closes at 9pm, so get there early.

Great place with great choices! You can order Italian (pizzas), American (burgers, tacos or burritos) or Indian, and they also do take away. Only down side is you have to sit outside/partially sheltered, but just dress up warm and you’ll be fine. They also got blankets if you get too cold. Overall really good food!
