A popular venue with an eclectic mix of customers. Limited breakfast menu in the mornings. We had a couple of dishes from the all day menu; they were well presented and tasted lovely. I found that the prices were on the high side with what was being offered. £15.50 for the cooked breakfast as an example. Staff were pleasant and welcoming but not outstanding. It’s part of a small strip of high end shops, Finisterre, a deli, Da Bara etc. If in the area, I would be more inclined to go to Wadebridge for more choice and better value for money.

Popped in for a breakfast, excellent service, really cheerful team and made us feel relaxed. The yogurt with granola and honey was great, bacon sandwich was ok but would have liked another rasher of bacon but it didn’t spoil breakfast. all in all a satisfying time would certainly visit again when in the area.

A lovely brunch - pancakes with caramelised banana and bacon, delicious and generous portions despite opting for the children's portion. Great coffee. Above all friendly and attentive servers. Super clean too. This place really hit the spot - will be back for sure

Great welcome and service. Holidaying in the area, driving by and needed a little stop for refreshment. The team were very friendly whilst being professional. The wide ranging menu and specials looked mouthwateringly good! The pastries and cakes on show looked just as good. We only had a ginger beer each and shared a portion of chips and a slice of cake, as we had a supper booked for later in Bodmin.

Great location and dog friendly. Unfortunately that's where the pro's end. Tiny coffee's £4 a drink, and extremely expensive menu. Youngest had pancakes which were £16, tasteless and hugely overpriced..Eldest had Bacon Sandwich £9!!! The full English was terrible, small portion, no hash browns, really hard dry toast and the worst baked beans I've ever had. We paid £80, I would expect the best breakfast on the planet - the food was very poor quality and was left really dissapointed.

Used to be good; always high prices for high quality, so worth it. Now just high prices with poor quality food. Bread is sourced from the cheapest local supplier - crazy when so many good local artisan bakers - and tasted like worst quality supermarket loaf, ruined the bacon butty. Poached eggs were cold (pre-prepped maybe). Nice staff though. Overall felt like a waste of money and time, especially when there is a much better breakfast 5 mins further up A39 at St Kew Farmhouse.

We went to this cafe for breakfast as my wife wanted pancakes for breakfast.the pancakes were nice but the full breakfast I had was horrible, the sausage was rubbery , the bacon very fatty and the beans were disgusting. This was also by far the most expensive breakfast I have had while on holiday here, l don’t mind paying for quality but this was not worth a fiver let alone the the £16.50 thy charge.

Although the food and cakes are very nice there are better places that are more reasonably priced, over £15 for 2 hot drinks and 2 cakes is ridiculous. £3.05 for a MUG of hot water and a teabag on the side... It's just crazy. Portions aren't huge but it's always busy so I guess some people are happy to pay!

Stopped on our way home for coffee and snack. Staff are lovely, coffee was great but OMG it’s expensive. Two coffees, one croissant and a Portugese custard tart was £17.10. Such a shame as it would put us off stopping in future. Expect to pay £3.50 now for a good coffee but £4.20 and then another £4+ for a croissant… no thanks.

Nice but (WAY) overpriced: £19.50 for a burger in a cheap white roll, overcooked meat, and lavished in cheese and sauce. I would call it average if it was a tenner, however, for £19.50 you MUST be A Hell of a lot better... £4.50 for a flat white is also on the pricey side. We went here for Breakfast on Mother's Day which was a little pricey but we couldn't fault the food. We returned mid week for a breakfast but unfortunately it was a completely different experience. Flat white was barely warm, had to knock it back quickly. Waited around 25 minutes for 2 x full English breakfasts, the sour dough bread was over cooked and rock hard, bacon undercooked, sausages pre-cooked and reheated. The ingredients seemed completely different quality from last time. Going off today's experience it's certainly not worth £16.50 for one breakfast! Such a shame it's inconsistent.

We were very disappointed this time however with the ridiculous prices and portion size of my order. I ordered the 'Eggs and Avo' it was £12.50 and I received the eggs, avocado and hollandaise squeezed on to half a Breakfast muffin, and with a breakfast muffin being small at the best times this was ridiculous!! I joked and should have asked if there was a shortage of muffins in Wadebridge. I left very hungry and dissatisfied!

A bit of advice, get here early because it get really busy here, but be aware lunch isn't available until 12:15. We arrived just before noon so had a coffee and cake while we waited to order lunch, and it was very enjoyable. The food is cooked to order and the the portions are a good size (the burger & chips was bigger than expected). There's not a lot of choice for vegan/vegetarians in Cornwall but we had a choice here. The only negative is that the high ceilings make it a very noisy environment when full of people. PS - Well behaved dogs are allowed inside.

Visited on a Wednesday lunch time with my friend and my dog, it was an extremely hot day and queueing was in the sun whilst waiting to be seated/served. It would’ve been great if they had some covering for people to wait under, as it’s not great to be standing in the sun for 15 minutes waiting. However, as soon as we were seated a staff member gave us an umbrella which was perfect. The staff all worked tirelessly to make everyone happy on such a hot day and all are very welcoming. The QE code for the menu was easy to use, with orders being taken from your table. The food we had was a toastie and a wrap, both delicious as always. It’s a real bargain to get such amazing food and drinks for £7 each on the eat out to help out scheme. The drinks came quickly and you could visibly see they were busy inside and out, so a wait on the food was expected, and is worth it! Just be prepared to wait for your food and to be seated as it’s such a popular cafe. But I would recommend anyone to go and try it!

When we were eventually shown to a table outside we were then completely forgotten about, nobody came to take our order. Two men came out to clear one table together and walked straight past twice us without seeming to notice or care that we were waiting. It was such bad service it was really bizarre and actually quite amusing. We left after a little more waiting, deciding they honestly didn’t deserve our (or anyone’s) money.

I almost feel like I have to apologise for not giving a glowing review as looking at other feedback a lot of people rave about this cafe. I have been before for coffee and cake and enjoyed both albeit thinking it was a little on the expensive side. I also can't fault the staff who are without exception very friendly and helpfulI suspect we chose the wrong thing when we chose a sandwich but as this is what we had this is all I can leave feedback on. Once again I did a bit of a double take when I saw the price but thought it may be worth it, unfortunately it wasn't. The filling was fine, nice pieces of chicken nothing to complain or rave about but the bread was too thick and the crusts were really chewey, after the first mouthful I cut the rest of them off (normally one of the most enjoyable parts of a piece of bread). Can someone also tell me why filling both the plate and the sandwich with salad leaves is a good thing as I really don't get it, beyond a point what do more salad leaves add to a meal.Sorry guys but it wasn't worth the money, I've had better, tastier and more interesting sandwiches at other cafes/coffee shops/diners (whatever the current buzzword is). If we try you again maybe we need to try the breakfast as that seems to be a firm favourite but I don't think it's available at lunchtime. The setting is convenient, there's usually plenty of parking spaces and the views over the neighbouring farmland are pleasant. I know as a local we're a particularly difficult bunch to impress but we can also be useful over the winter months.

There were 6 groups ahead of us in the queue when we arrived at 10 but it was nearly 2 hours later that we ate. Delicious food but just too late. Everyone was trying their best but just more tables than they could cope with sadly.

On our way to Port Isaac we stopped off at an interesting place called Hawksfield and in part of this complex was Strong Adolfo's cafe. The service was friendly, quick and efficient as we ordered tea & coffee and a piece of carrot cake just as the weather began to close in.We found seating near the window which had great views out over the countryside. The drinks were excellent as was the cake and a pleasant 40 minutes was spent in this modern but cosy establishment. Recommended.

I’m lucky enough to be a local and use SA for informal work meetings, catch up with friends and as a treat with my young son. Both savoury and sweet dishes are fantastic, super fresh produce and incredible flavours. No it’s not the cheapest, but for good reason, it’s quality produce delivered by passionate people.

On arrival to the restaurant we were greeted with smiles and given menus. The restaurant is clean and bright which helps on winters morning. The menu had a nice selection of dishes. After ordering I waited for my meal to arrive. My pea and mint soup arrived with a slice of bread. The soup was bright green in colour which looked amazing.I stared to eat my soup but I then realised the chef had just blended raw peas into hot stock and just served it, no extra blending or passing to remove the course shells and uncooked pea pods.I know what your going to say about it’s trendy not to pass but for £7.50 and to be served a slice of stale bread is not good.Very overpriced and more work is needed as this is not good enough. Finally more than £3 for a peppermint tea in a small coffee cup and no pot... come on guys, you need to try harder as this feels just like ripping us off!

The place has a pleasant atmosphere which lends itself to a relaxing place to meet up with friends/clients/customers. The drinks and food are well prepared by the friendly staff. The place does get busy. Good time to meet is around 10 a.m. Plenty of parking in front or behind the cafe. There are also other shops on the complex which are interesting, if a little prices, to look at.

Great little place this, it was very busy but we got seated within a few minutes. The girls had toasties, one of them made with Gluten Free bread and us boys had the Korean Chicken Burger off of the specials board. The food was well presented and very well cooked and tasted amazing. The staff were helpful and efficient and as with the rest of Cornwall the views out of the very large windows was superb.

Had an excellent lunch. I had a toasted sandwich and my partner had a dhal. A fairly straight forward lunch but very well done and presented. I would have to say that it was probably one of the best lunches we have had for a long time and it didn’t break the bank. We now know where we shall be having lunch when in the area. It just shows that good ingredients put together well can provide as good an experience as any starred restaurant. Would highly recommend.

The Coffee (Cappuccino), Cakes (Rock Bun) were just delicious.Staff were very attentive and welcoming without being over-bearing.Would definitely recommend and I will certainly be returning.Only downside was that it was a bit too atmospheric for the business meeting I was attending. Would have preferred to have been there socially!

Fantastic find, happened across this place by accident and glad we did, friendly welcome and service had sandwiches and a bowls of chips and some coffees, not the cheapest place about but doesn’t aim to be looking at the environment and the quality of food on offer, will try again for breakfast later in the week

Great Location, Burgers were lovely, maybe a tad expensive, but ok for a treat, a lot of the menu seemed quite fishy, so burger was the only option for me as didn't really like anything else.

Found this delightful upstairs cafe by chance and had some of the best vegetarian food for a long time. We were made very welcome and chose the hummus bowl and roasted veg toasted sandwich. Both were excellent and very filling.

I've only ever called in for a beer but no complaints so far and staff are nice too. There's a big beer garden which is very useful for the kids and dogs.

The ice creams here are beautiful! Really generous portions and are very well presented. The customer service we received was outstanding, my daughter had a massive meltdown (ASD) and they were nothing but supportive, understanding and helpful. We'd had a very tough day today with meltdowns galore and this one was by far the worst of the day yet I never felt alone or judged. People like you make the biggest difference and I am so very grateful for you going out of your way to help and care. Thank you x
