The best restaurants serving Default food in Wealden South East

Visited for the ice cream -Latchetts gelato (saw the strange flavours on TV). £4.90 for a double tub with wafer. Very nice. Heaven farm itself is not much of a farm a few chickens wandering and small bird avery.

This is a lovely venue, with very pleasant, attentive staff, including the landlord. Service is quick and accurate and the food is well prepared and fresh. The prices are reasonable. There is plenty of seating, inside and out. There is a good menu, if you are a meat eater. The menu for the increasing numbers following a plant-based diet, however, is minimal, with only a couple of options. This is a real shame. I think that a wider selection here would pay dividends. In all, this is a good old pub, to enjoy.

Had a meal delivered from here last night, arrived piping hot and was absolutely delicious, reasonably priced and best of all they deliver to Burwash! Will definitely be ordering again! 👍😁

The woman welcomed us immediately and took care of us from start to finish. Food was great scotch egg masala. A must. Plus the bok chicken is super flavoursome. The woman recommended their house white - a delicate white good choice. Decor and vibe is top notch - we will be back thank you 🙏

Been going here for some time for lunch, early dinner usually the mixed grill is reasonable... not this time AWFUL the lamb was a lump of fat the gammon had been in the hot hold , the steak was like shoe leather. The mushroom was the size of a penny piece,peas where cold the only decent part of the meal was the sausage and the onion rings I'm sure most of it was cooked in the fryer.. and a price of £15 wasn't worth a fiver yet my partner's meal the chicken basket with a side order of chicken wings was fault less the table's where dirty.our plates were left on the end of the table despite staff looking at them and walking past.glasses and bottles left around.in a matter of a couple of months it's changed.. perhaps new management needs to get a grip because it's a nice place

The Roe Buck is a Green King inn. The menu is the same as other Green King venues but what makes the Roe Buck such a super place to visit for lunch or dinner are the staff. The managers have been here for years, as long as I can remember, they are so friendly and their staff are all friendly. Nothing is too much for them. You always feel welcome in their place. On a warm day sitting on the patio area is just lovely. Really tranquil despite the busy road at the front of the hotel. I would highly recommend for a quiet drink, lunch or dinner. Of ten when we have had friends visiting the Uk from abroad they have stayed here and always have had good things to stay about their visit.

Great Indian - well presented - good service and really good food . Loved the Tandoori King Prawn and super crispy Bhajis . Nice bright space with plenty of room to pile up the dishes 😃. Thanks for a great night - my now go to local Indian.
