Spend most of the year in Premier Inns for work and this one was by far the worst... Was greeted by n Dirty tub, hairs in the sink, sticky substance on the counter, hot and humid room with no ways of cooling it down (no fans available at front desk)

Quite a small hotel, but maintained. The fan in the bathroom is functional, the new towels in the bathroom do not smell. Quite clean

Good staff but the room was a bit shabby by Prem's usual standards. Could do with a deep cleaning- I've stayed at cleaner Travel Lodges which is definitely saying something.

Ideally suited for Eastbourne if you have car as they provide free parking for the duration of your stay. Local railway station is a few minutes walk away if travelling into Eastbourne.

Very good experience. The room was spacious. The location of the hotel excellent for exploring the South Downs. Particularly liked having a McDonald's across the road. The room was clean, though a little tired. Overall we were very pleased

We stayed one night for my son 6th birthday trip to the zoo. Whilst I can’t fault the rooms the review is about the wonderful staff especially Layla, she went above and beyond not only to chat to my son but decorated a breakfast table for him complete with balloons and party bag of gifts and a card. Really made his day!

I don't think the rooms were cheap. We paid nearly £350 for 2 nights. The tea/coffee tray wasn't replenished. The bar/restaurant shut at 9pm. The staff in the bar were lovely/friendly. No one from housekeeping came in the rooms. Beds were excellent, very comfy.

Fairly basic room and bathroom, not the best !, carpet disgusting dirty don't wear white socks, best to keep footwear on! Quite a few spiders and cobwebs, NO AIR CONDITIONING!!! the rooms get very hot at night , you do get a fan for what its worth thats it? No plug sockets by bed nor any USB ports for charging by bed? A right grumpy jobs worth on front desk when arrived he wouldn't even check us in half an hour early. Never in all My time have I had to wait for checking in to a premier Inn? and I have stayed in 100s over the years via work and pleasure all over u.k. The staff at desk were missing, or out front smoking or having a good old chit chat with eachother than more helping paying customers! Recorded video and being sent to head office for their view of staff or lack of it behaviour and customer service skills. Pub next door, pass overpriced, food not great, had alot of people swearing using the f word and c word when having dinner table next to us! Staff done " NOTHING " had children at our table was not impressed at all. Only saving grace was the light bite cafe up the road 2min walk, food was fantastic, fresh, hot, and great service. There's also 24 hr McDonald's opposite and a mini Asda petrol station.

Clean room, great linen and super housekeeping. Good comfortable bed. Bath high to climb over, plentiful hot water. No air conditioning but very good value for money. Hotel could do with some upkeep inside on out.

The room of this Premier Inn is a normal standard one. However, the noisy motorcycles closed by until 1-2am which I did not expected made me sleepless the whole night. We could not close the windows because there was no air conditioner in the room. Therefore, consider well of the noisy environment due to the Asda gas station, express & McDonald are closed by.

The water pressure for the shower wasnt the greatest, but apart from that, the room was good/usual standard.

Booking a room is nearly impossible, hopeless web site and no service at all, the group lets down the individual hotels who have no input

Had a really lovely stay apart from some late night noise from the "Walton's" family shouting goodnight to each other at midnight. Rooms are basic but clean. Shower curtain was a bit smelly but the shower was fine. Location isn't idyllic but it is a functional hotel. Staff were really helpful & The Treacle mine next door was a great place to eat. Good place for a stopover.

Very enjoyable stay we was allowed to check in early at no extra cost the treacle mine pub wasn't impressed with as was not always open but when it was food was great you do need a car if you stay here but other than that it was great

Stayed 2 nights, first night very little sleep as the guest in the room next door had the TV volume up loud all night. Complained to reception next morning and they said they would have a word with the guest and offered us a different room. It must have worked as there were no problems the next night, lovely sleep, very quiet. No road noise.

Clean and tidy. Room very small for a family room. Had to get on the bed from the bottom as no space around. 1 very hard chair to sit on!

I’m really disappointed I am giving this restaurant 1 star because I had high hopes for this place, nice rural location which could be a really lovely restaurant. We have been here twice (hoping we would have a better experience on the second time) for the ‘all you can eat’ menu. On both occasions we felt extremely uncomfortable, the male manager asked my children for ID incase they needed to pay for an adult meal (my children are 5 & 8!) and then when we ordered they told us to stop ordering because we won’t eat it! And then whilst we were eating we had 3 staff members watching us the entire time! Male manager very rude with no personality. Such a shame but we won’t be returning.
