Had breakfast here on the way to paultons park. Booked online on the way (so 45mins before we came) with no signs of any problems with card payments. Free parking, walked in to find a sign saying card payments down! Talked to staff who said it’s been down all morning so had to drive down the road to a cash point.
Food was good, was overly busy but just normal amount, don’t know if they they was down a chef but few times it seems they was out of things like bacon and sausages so long que of waiting people. The coffee and drink machines was in same small area of the food so even getting a coffee was bit of a hassle and only one coffee machine?!
Overall it was good and if we go to paultons again we come here for breakfast.
Amazing buffet with good service and amazing staff, Luis one of the waiters was brilliant as always very much happy to help and assist our needs making sure we had a lovely dinner. Would recommend to anyone looking to go out for a meal with friends/family.
We attended this afternoon tea with my daughter (3), and we were left very disappointed and were made to feel we were a hinderance. Firstly we turn up to be told that we hadn’t booked on the event despite phoning up, confirming the space and paying the deposit (£30) over the phone. The staff then made us a makeshift table from a table and chairs which had been outside all day, so we’re freezing cold as this was in December! They positioned the table in the middle of where the princesses were, so although we were at the front, we were completely in the way of the stories? Singing and dancing, tattoos and bubble machine, meaning our food, drink and us were being covered with bubbles. It also meant we had both children and adults surrounding our table trying to take part in these activities. The food was poorly presented, for example the icing was half on the cake and half off, and we got given a different platter than everyone else, and when asked if we had the allergy platter nobody was sure. We then tried some of the cakes which weren’t very nice and were clearly an allergen cake. The staff weren’t very attentive at all, they could be seen just stood around chatting, and to top it off we had an £80 bill to pay on the day too! A total of £110 for 2 adults and a child to attend a frozen themed afternoon tea with such poor service and to be made to feel like we did! When complaining, we were told to contact them after Christmas, which we did, however the person we spoke to just shrugged it off and said there was nothing that could be done, they didn’t care about the service they provided and no offer of a reimbursement, a voucher or anything to make up for this awful experience. The princesses were great but I wouldn’t recommend this event at this location.
