The staff was attentive, professional, and made us feel truly welcome. The food? Incredible! Every dish was bursting with flavour, perfectly cooked, and beautifully presented. You can tell they use high-quality ingredients and put real passion into their cooking. The ambiance was just as impressive—cozy, stylish, and the perfect setting for a great meal. Whether you're here for a casual dinner or a special occasion, this place delivers on every level. Highly recommend! Will definitely be coming back. 10/10!

Empezaron mis vacaciones y decidí ir a Romsey a pasar el día. Estaba paseando y vi esa terraza, decidí tomar algo en la terraza y tomarme algo refrescante ya que hacía mucho sol y buen clima. Fui a dentro a pedir una bebida y me dijeron que no, que necesitaba comer algo también. Me parece vergonzoso. Además de ineficiente ya que no había nadie en la terraza. Han perdido un cliente.

I have been coming to the Romsey Prezzo restaurant for many years now, and I’ve always enjoyed everything about it. The food is consistently marvellous and the atmosphere is so much nicer than some of the other restaurants in the same chain that I visited. It’s a unique location and it always feel special to eat there. The menu changes regularly I particularly like the burger and the calamari is fantastic. I’ve never had a bad meal here and with the vouchers available you get extremely good value for what you pay. Staff always work very hard and it was the first thing I ever noticed about the restaurant. The sheer enthusiasm and work ethic that some of the members of staff show is outstanding and I’m sure the regulars that visit here will agree with me. Highly recommend if you fancy an Italian in Romsey. I celebrated my birthday this year at the Romsey restaurant and I enjoyed every minute of it.

Our family lunch was really spoilt by the chaotic service that we received. It was so extraordinary at times that we were almost expecting Michael McIntyre to pop out in disguise and say we had been pranked. I don’t know if it was due to under staffing or distracted/inexperienced staff but the woman who served us really needed to improve her skill set. She struggled to take our order - there were 8 of us but we did order in turn but she was extremely slow to input details of our food and drink (I’m not sure that the app helped as this seemed to complicate something that should have been straightforward - a good example of the pen being mightier than the device!) After ordering drinks arrived in a sporadic order - the waitress had to be reminded numerous times for a bottle of water for the table and the food arrived at such different times that it felt like each dish was being individually cooked. The lasagne I ordered arrived after the majority of the table had actually finished their meals. I was about to tell them not to both as I had assumed it had been forgotten when it arrived with no recognition that it was significantly later than all of the other dishes and an explanation might have been appropriate. The restaurant wasn’t particularly busy so why the service was quite so chaotic was unclear. Would I return? Not a chance. The food was ok - expensive for what it is - but the service was just really poor. Best avoided.

Booked Table for 2 put on table made up for 6 people order are drinks then starters and main course starters came out before we finished them are main courses we're brought out 3 times yes 3 times before we had finished. Ordered another round of drinks 1 wine and 1 bottle of beer only tobe served with a pint of beer I never ask for.Food was dry must of been reheated many times . We were never asked for a dessert menu when we did the time was 9 55 only tobe told kitchen had been shut along with coffee machine. We have eaten here on many occasions but never never never again £91Wasted. Please stay away from this dump.

Not sure what happened on our visit yesterday but it was one big disaster and meant we won’t return to this Prezzo. Waitress was super friendly and took our drink order really quickly! Drinks arrived quickly to the table. Waitress had an issue with the ordering tablet and kept having to go off and come back. Eventually we placed food order including kids 3 course menus and two adult mains. After about 40 minutes I asked if there was a kitchen issue as we had had no food yet! (2 kids garlic breads surely are quick and simple). Eventually one kids garlic breads came and then we were told 3 times they would go and get the missing starter. We were handed a wrong kids starter (mozzarella sticks) and told them it wasn’t ours as we ordered a simple garlic bread with cheese - we were told to keep the mozzarella sticks for free while they sorted the missing kids garlic bread with cheese! On asking a third time for the missing child’s starter - we were told we had the mozzarella sticks instead!!!! You can’t just give something complimentary and then later say that was instead of what was ordered! Also you can’t change a kids order to suit yourselves!!!! After well over an hour we asked if the mains were coming. They went to check with the kitchen. They arrived eventually and had clearly been sat in the kitchen for quite some time as nothing was very hot - no piping hot pasta or steam when cutting open the calzone. So disappointing. Then after finishing our mains, the child’s garlic bread with mozzarella actually arrived! Who knew it was so tricky to make this dish! Ordered one kids desert and that came fairly quickly. Other child decided not to order her sundae after the other issues. Eventually got the bill after asking twice And that was completely wrong too!Overcharging us by around £10 on the first receipt which we had to explain the issues! We were in the restaurant for two hours in total! Other tables were clearly leaving without finishing meals or ordering deserts too - one table next to us gave up and left after mains (children) and another table got boxes to take the food with them (small children). We have been here 2-3 times before for lunch and never had such issues, which was why we had returned again and again.

Team are lovely and very helpful, Kinga and Stan work very hard during busy time. Food was delicious

Celebrated a friends birthday and was offered a free bottle of Prosecco .. service was amazing, just would have been nice with background music.

Really kind service, and we had a little room to ourselves. A nicely chosen, varied menu with something for everyone. The only thing we wished for is more fish dishes. Very attentive to us, and I'd definitely go back. Update: visited in January 2025, and the service was very slow. Fish dishes still missing, but the food was good.

Bad Service, we walked in asked for table for 2 and they refused, staff mentioned that they are fully booked whereas there was only one couple in the restaurant,to double check I checked online booking and it was allowing me to book.

Lovely food. It was quite busy , service was a little slow , but we weren’t in any hurry. Nice girly lunch . It was a cold day so a little chilly in restaurant . Would recommend though , tasty , filling lunch .

Arrived 8pm on a cool winter evening. Parking available - bonus! Shown to a table quickly. Service excellent throughout. Food good quality and good portions. Good value for winter with range of offers available. Thoroughly enjoyed the experience! My dining companion was a bit cold sat next to a window .

Delicious food, friendly staff. Had calamari for my starter, the sauce was tasty and calamari was cooked well. Crab and lobster ravioli for my main, again good well and super delicious, Finished off nicely with the biscoff cheesecake. Family members went for the pizza option All tasted fantastic and would definitely recommend trying

Update 18th Jan 25 I had a voucher so tried again, the service was great and the food nice but why have they cut up the spaghetti into tiny bits, I felt 5 years old!? The chilli could do with being less chunky, I've ordered spice so I'm not looking to pick it out! But it tasted okay, nothing I couldn't do at home but very nice. Update, October 5th 2024 Sadly very disappointing meal, such a shame as it was a special birthday for my mum. I started with mushroom arancini which seemed to be filled with creamed rice and soup, gloopy is the term I would use. Nothing else to break up the texture and flavour, a little tomato would have helped. My partner had artichoke salad that he described as "alright", mum had calamari which looked like bites rather than proper bits but she said she enjoyed it. I then had prawn and chilli pasta which was very flavoursome, if the lumps if chilli were a little large, but I left them to one side, partner crab and prawn pasta with tough prawns but lovely filled pasta. Mum had cannelloni which looked swamped in white sauce to me but she said it was lovely. Hardly likely to say anything else on her birthday treat. I then had a strawberry sundae, frozen mushy strawberries, my partner lemon meringue, yummy. Mum tiramisu which she enjoyed, I could tell ! Sadly nothing special on this day as it really didn't live up to my hopes, mum I suspect went home a little disappointed on her day, I certainly did. On the plus side not cramped in again, and certainly warm enough! Loos could use some attention. Staff friendly and service was good. Update Mothers Day 24 Took my mother today for a treat and she enjoyed it. Not cramped at all and very friendly staff. Not a cheap meal but very nice. I like the food here and it is very popular so book if you can! At times I have felt a little cramped as they don't like to turn people away and if can get very hot, it is a very old building! Good location, staff friendly but can be a little slow on busy nights (to be expected really) I would recommend eating here but as I say book ahead!

Food was 20 mins late, and cold when I got home. I live 5 minutes away, Staff were very polite and friendly, but food was not hot enough,

We had a Christmas party for nine. We were made to feel very welcome and one of our party, who was gluten intolerant was given extra special service. We could pick from the Christmas menu and the regular menu, so we had plenty of choice, making it far better than usual Christmas party venues. We loved the food and the atmosphere and will certainly return.

The sqiuid and bruschetta starters were a bit bland, But mains of Tuscan Sausage and prawn pasta were both very good. The salted caramel chocolate bar was a bit bizarre like a confectionery sweet, which was difficult to cut with a blob of cream. The staff were friendly enough, after a rather brusk greeting from the manager, possibly?

Had booking for 5pm. Taken to seats and were left waiting over 30 minutes without drinks or anyone coming to serve us. Got fed up so walked out. They weren't even busy!

No baby changing facilities, asked staff who pointed me to where they were, with no warning of what I was walking into - the men's toilets where I don't know who was more shocked myself or the poor gentleman trying to wee. Luckily my partner was there to change the baby or she would of had to be in a dirty nappy

My mum ordered a meal for each of us which I drove to pick up from my flat over to her place. A starter & a main for both of us and a dessert for me. When I got to mum’s and emptied it all out on the table, I couldn’t find my main anywhere! Mum phoned them three times ( First time, she got on to someone who said they’d talk to the manager, but seconds later, cut us off!! ) before deciding to drive over and give them a piece of her mind! She came back with my main and a free bottle of wine. We both thought that was the end of that problem……till mum emptied her main onto her plate. …..IT WASN’T WHAT SHE ASKED FOR AT ALL!!! Not happy with their takeaway service and won’t be buying from them again!

Lovely old building, very pleasant atmosphere, nice and central. Waitress apologized for the shortness of staff, especially in the kitchen, but we were not unduly delayed. Good, tasty food .

I was fortunate to win a three course meal for two with a scratch card that I was given on a previous visit to Prezzo! We decided to use it at Prezzo Romsey and had a very nice lunch indeed. Stan looked after us very efficiently and friendly.

Came here as a table of 11, we think they were understaffed as it took an hour to take our order. Food was all good, except we had to send back one of the spaghetti bolognese and replace it with something else as it was really watery. No complaints about the food I ordered though.

A very nice spot for a midweek date night. Cosy relaxed atmosphere. Very friendly staff superb food not just pizza! Would recommend

We had a prebooked family meal as there was a few of us. We sat upstairs. The menu is varied and average prices. My chicken was nice but very little sauce . We had to remind them we asked for water. They were very busy possibly due to a voucher offer. Our meals took a very long time to come. Then eventually we had to ask for the plates to be cleared and for the dessert menus. The rest of the party did enjoy their food.

Quick service, delicious food, helpful staff. Booked for 7.30, another group arrived after us and we were seated first, we had to wait to be seated for over 5 mins. This restaurant accept the Meerkat discount 25% off 7 days a week if you have a code. There isn't much phone signal so make sure you take a screen shot of the code before you arrive to be able to use it. Shared a starter, had a main meal each, a glass of wine each and a diet pepsi each (they don't have coke) with the discount only £50.

Beautiful building. Really friendly staff who squeezed us in without a booking on a busy Friday night. I managed to leave my bag behind as they kindly looked after it for me! Lovely food and great kids menu.

Very slow. They made a few mistakes on both my visits this week. Also, both times we asked if we could use a discount which was agreed. When the bill came, there were no discounts. Both times my food was £17 and my drink was £2. Yet both times we all paid £20 each!

Great place but very loud and dark, overwhelming for people sensitive to noise.

As I was with a party of 24 we dined upstairs. We were looked after by Jayney and nothing was too much trouble and all the time service was carried out with a smile on her face. I had phoned during the afternoon and spoken to her as I have a food allergy and when I arrived in the evening she had already checked with the head chef to check my food choice would be suitable for me which was appreciated.

The staff was satisfactory, although there is significant room for improvement. The food quality was mediocre, and I would rate it as two stars. The atmosphere, however, was quite pleasant, as it is housed in a historic building.

Fab supper last night, in doors as tgexweatger wasn't great.

I'm a Romsey resident and this is the third time I've visited over about 11 years and every time it hugely disappoints. In our party of four 3 of us had pizzas and they were all burnt and difficult to cut up. Should have complained but we were so hungry we decided not to. The menu is also incredibly overpriced - most mainstream pizzas are a whopping £17. Also desserts (mass produced bought in stuff) are £8 each, for example a slice of cheesecake. Will definitely not be returning - there are way better pizza restaurants.

We had a very pleasant lunch at Prezzo Romsey. We were looked after by Monika and Stan who were very friendly and helpful.

Amazing atmosphere and great food. Nice up stairs and garden patio. Friendly waiters. Recommend for everyone to go there for lunch ,dinner and breakfast or brunch

We came in without a booking on a busy day & they were kind enough to accommodate 5 of us. Everything we ordered was great, I even ordered the wrong pizza and they changed it for me. Try the spicy honey pizza, amazing ! Desert was good too! Nice and help-full staff.

Such a lovely old building to enjoy a meal in, the service was fantastic and the attention to allergens was what you hoped everywhere was like! The food was nice and tasty, portion size was a bit small but the taste was so good that you can forgive that!

My wife and I were pleasantly surprised when our cousin arrived unexpectedly to visit us. They kindly offered to stay with the children, allowing us to enjoy a rare date night. Unfortunately, our evening took an unexpected turn when we were asked to leave the establishment due to the staff being "too busy". Despite the availability of numerous empty tables and two staff members engaged in conversation at the reception, we were unable to enjoy our meal. Regrettably, this incident has left us disappointed and unlikely to return to this particular branch. In contrast, our previous experiences at Prezzo Eastleigh have been far more welcoming. It is imperative that this matter be addressed promptly, as we observed that we were not the only persons who were asked to leave.

Nice evening out here, good food, good wine and a very friendly waitress. Prices ok. Will come back next time we are this way!

Friday evening dinner with friends. We booked for 8pm and our table was ready when we arrived. A bit of a wait for drinks but then after that service was good. Food was great.

Really lovely time here with friends. We had 2 courses and drinks, the food came out quickly and hot, the service was good, no issues, no errors and polite, discreet staff.

Just had a meal there, crab and lobster ravioli, well I think the crab and lobster was still in the sea. Some sort of paste inside but that's it. £18 each, just was a waste of money. Won't go there again.

Good service, somewhat pricy per person 💷💷💷, but a nice place for lunch. 😊 I really enjoyed the dish “Spaghetti with King Prawns” (as pictured). It was really tasty, 😋 and the portion size was just right! 👍 The room where we were dining had several other tables so were a little noisy with background chatter. However was still able to have a conversation between ourselves at our table okay 👌

Ate here as a party of 6. The food was tasty and presented well. A little on the pricey side, but we had vouchers which reduced the bill. The girl serving us upstairs was really friendly and helpful but clearly rushed off her feet. The delays in getting order taken / food served etc took way too long. Shout out to the waitress who was clearly doing her best but needs more help!

We booked a table in advance for a party of five, however on arrival we were swiftly sat upstairs in an impersonal dining room; cold radiators, scruffy tables, fairy lights turned off and a selection of faded David Hockney prints hung on the walls. A contrast to the cosy and bustling downstairs dining area you teasingly get a view of as you walk in. Our waitress was friendly and hospitable and is an asset to the place. The food arrived in waves separated by 3 minutes approx, with another table served in between. This being said, our food was enjoyable however a visit to the toilet mid way reminded me of the shortcomings of this restaurant. The men’s hand-dryer was broken and replaced by some blue roll and an overflowing waste paper basket. The women’s had a visibly blocked sink and some dusty fake orchids as decor. This is a real shame as the building itself has character, the food is classic Italian but as a dining experience it felt lacking given the above average price point.

Great place to grab some food after a busy day at work.

Nice service , tasty starter and lasagne for main. But the desert of orange cheesecake was not good at all in my opinion and I left most of it. The music being played over speakers seemed loud, having to raise voice to speak to person sitting right next me. Toilets upstairs.

Prezzo Romsey is a really convenient meeting point for us & we've met famly there about once a month for two or three years now. It's been reliably okay (not great but fine), the service is always good & the prices about average. However I'm afraid our last two visits have brought it home to us that the food is no longer okay (even the pizzas are now really not very nice) & the prices are definitely on the higher side of average. Service is still good but I'm afraid that's not enough. The pizzas used to be fine but the last couple of times have been really awful: no better, in fact possibly not as good, as ones you'd stick in the oven at home. My margarita yesterday had an inedible thick layer of nasty cheese which hadn't been properly cooked & the overall pizza was floppy & not at all well cooked. The chicken saltimbocca was really not good at all tasteless, rubbery chicken. So I'm afraid that's it for us. Really disappointing food too many times now.

Good service and nice location but incredibly overpriced. A small coke at £4.25 seemed excessive - other drinks also extremely expensive. I wonder whether this is to compensate for vouchers that do not include food that are regularly used here. Food was nice but not incredible. The staff couldn’t have been nicer, Prezzo is just not what it once was. Unlikely to return as just didn’t feel like good value at all.

When did prezzo become a fast food joint. Half way through our starters, the main course comes out 🤣🤣 Give us a chance to digest it. Ffs

Always my favourite carbonara very tasty. Prices like many places have increased 2 of us with starter and main and 2 drinks each £77 but it's a treat I'd pay for again.

Always relied upon Prezzo Romsey for a fabulous eating experience… until today!!! The manager, Emily - despite providing all front of house service on her own - was so helpful with menu advice as we found it unusually difficult to make our choices!! So many of our favourites - eg bruschetta..various risottos … gone from the menu!!! Why have you done this Prezzo’s??? Not impressed - and we need to review whether we need to look elsewhere for lunch. Shame!

Found the service good but a little slow,plenty of time between courses, possibly understaffed for a Wednesday. 25 minutes between courses.

Visited Romsey prezzo for an evening meal. Had a sharers starter that came up as a single starter, when I questioned the portion size, the waitress just said that's what the kitchen has sent out, but she should have questioned it eiththe kitchen. Turns out when we got the bill it was for just one person. The main meal was nice and enjoyable. Service was also good until we came to pay and was told they do not accept CASH. They do not mention on there website or in the restaurant that no CASH Payments are accepted. Come on PREZZO the pandemic is over.

This particular Prezzo is set in a very old building which brings a nice charm about it, staff were lovely and very accommodating.

Visited with family (4 adults)for a bottomless brunch . You get pizza and unlimited cocktails , beer of Prosecco . The cocktails were amazing . So pleased Prezzos are now doing bottomless brunches . I hope they continue with them as waitress seemed to think that they were only doing them in January . I think they need to advertise them more . Lovely staff with great service .

We had a family early dinner here before viewing the lights at Hilliers. A perfect choice! It was cosy and warm inside and we were given a quiet table. Three of us ordered pizza, one pasta and one lasagna. All were delicious and food arrived fast. Very important to two hungry boys! Our server was just lovely, friendly and knowledgeable. Didn’t catch her name but she had red stars painted on her nails! Recommended.

Had our works Xmas party here good value for money, friendly service,good menu choice, food excellent. Lovely old building , adds to the atmosphere.

The staff were friendly and attentive. The building is lovely. There the positives end. The food was truly appalling. Starters: Garlic bread, dried out flat bread with approx 2cm circle in the middle of garlic butter, mushroom and gorgonzola bruschetta was the same dried out flatbread, dotted with a few clumps of gorgonzola and slimy mushrooms. Main: I had the beef raviolini with gorgonzola sauce starter as a main. The raviolini we tasteless, but the "sauce" was the leftover pasta water with a couple of lumps of gorgonzola in it. My son had the chicken burger.,. burnt brioche bun, and dried out baked piece of chicken, completely plain and dry as owt. Now, if we had paid the sort of price that represented low quality food, I'd be less unimpressed, but the bill was close to £80, not helped by soft drinks at £4.65 each!! (I may be out of touch but this felt like daylight robbery). Give it a swerve, in my opinion.

Often sit in or collect food from this Prezzo. The takeaway is always great! Foods hot and always ready on time. Super friendly staff :)

I was reluctant to go there as in the past (pre COVID) the service was very bad. Wind the clock forward a few years and that's changed. I didn't get to properly thank our waitress who was wonderful and helpful when our food was not up to scratch. Sorted it straight away. Take a bow (brunette with a nose piercing) 👏👏👏

Nice building, pleasant staff.. Food ok ish, but not up to the price point! Don’t bother with beer… £7.95 for a can of IPA ..no bigger than a coke can 😳, worse still, they seem to think it’s “fashionable “ to have the gall to put said little can on the table with your glass 🥴 Probably won’t revisit -Note: Beaver Neck oil IPA - £2.50 in Waitrose

Went for my birthday pizza, the manager remembered me from another branch from years ago!! scary but really nice too. We were served by a fantastic waitress named Magda, very polite who remembered my order from around 6 weeks ago, very impressive. The place was full as it was the Christmas lights switch on, but the staff were in control and food came out at a good pace. The food was flavoursome, well cooked and hot, no complaints at all. No complaints from us at all, thank you for a lovely time and see you again. I also got a free bottle of prosecco to take home as I had registered on their website for offers. Highly recommended and thank you Magda and the team.

Two visits this month to Prezzo in Romsey. It is in such a lovely, old building. Both of the risotto options on the menu were very yummy.

Special birthday meal for our Son. Staff brilliant, food great, couldn’t have made us feel very welcome. One happy and full 13yr old!
