Not sure of his name, the fella who checked me in last night was fab, he understood i'd travelled far and i was a lil tired/hungry and helped me get checked in really quickly with a friendly demeanour, top bloke. Much appreciated. Hotel was its usual too quality standard.

We had the worst customer service experience ever at Premier Inn Southampton North. We felt nothing other than The deputy manager, Douglas, was extremely racist. We had to change rooms because they gave us a double room instead of a triple. Our son accidentally left his hoodie in the room, and when we kindly asked Douglas to check for it, he repeatedly lied, claiming he had checked three times. However, the guest who stayed in the room after us returned the hoodie to us. This deputy manager should not be in a customer-facing role unless he receives proper training on how to treat guests fairly. His behaviour was extremely disappointing and disturbing. We even requested the hotel managers details to make a complaint and he refused to give it and kept on accusing me of being abusive. This incident happened in the main reception where I was able to see CCTV cameras which will clearly show no abusive behaviour, also there was another house keeping lady who witnessed the whole incident. Very poor customer service and racism at its best. #premierinnsouthamtonnorth @premierinnsouthamtonnorth

My Husband was flown over to Southampton following a stroke. The staff at this hotel were so helpful including Alfie searching for and locating a charger for my dad’s iPad as he had forgotten his. Alfie and all your staff were so lovely helping make and awful time more bearable

SEPTEMBER 2023. Ideal location for getting into Southampton. Fast access to M27M3/London. I have stayed here before on numerous occasions but I have to comment that my room was at boiling point. Comfortable bed, all the usual things a Premier Inn would have in a standard room. Decor could do with updating in bathroom but a decent size. (Shower over full sized bath). A large self standing fan was provided which over my weekend was permanently switched on. It was hot outside too but room was unbearable which I found disappointing. Make sure you pre-book restaurant. Avoid annex nearest main road as noisy. If you visit in the winter I am sure you will find the room just fine. THERE IS NO AIR-CON AND NO LIFT at this hotel. (It does state on website too). UPDATE: I have returned!! (March 2024)....👍😊...now this location has premier plus rooms which drew me in instantly...yes you pay more but the rooms are the best! Air con and mini fridge with coffee machine and mini chocolates, walk in shower with upgraded toiletries. Very happy.

All good nothing to be dissapointed with, Staff were helpful and friendly. A little tricky getting out as this is on a main road and with traffic light next door it was hard to see exiting the Premier Inn.

Very good place in typical 'Premier Inn' tradition, but if you like to eat lunch or dinner in the Beefeater (linked to this Premier Inn) you NEED to pre-book a table. They serve a buffet that is popular among locals, and it get booked up days ahead. To stay in the Premier Inn does NOT automatically get you a table... as I found out the hard (hungry!) way...

Good quality food, service was very bad. Order placed at 1719hrs, with a 25-40 min delivery time. At 1857 justeat messaged asking if I want to request a discount, and I respond with yes. I get a message back saying the company won't give me a discount. 3 minutes later, I get a message saying the order was cancelled. I then phoned the company who claimed I cancelled the order, and I had to place the order again, and I would be a priority for delivery. Placed again at 1912hrs, with delivery between 1935 and 1955hrs. Finally delivered at about 1949hrs; over 2 hours late for the original order, and only after having to place a second order

We went to the Balmoral today, the service was terrible we was given a table and just left there, the woman never asked us what we was haveing, as we have never been there before we was just sitting there then a man come over with a really bad attitude and brout our drinks we was told there was no turkey so basically you only had one meat choice, which was beef, the beef was horrible the vegs wasn't nice either, the potatoes and Yorkshire pudding was nice but that was it, although we have had breakfast before and that was nice, but wouldent recomened the roast .

We went to Prezzo, Romsey, to take advantage of their 1 day only, 99p menu. We knew it would be busy and we did wait to be seated, but we could see how the staff were getting everybody served as quickly as possible. Once at our table, Janey, our server was still smiling, and the service was excellent. Hats off to the attitude of all staff on such a hectic day. We will be going again soon!

We celebrated our Pearl anniversary at The Exchange this weekend with an afternoon tea for 37 and evening party for 90. We had the most amazing day and all the staff really looked after us. Amy ran the team with professionalism and efficiency, nothing was too much trouble all day. It all went really smoothly and food was delicious, presented beautifully and was well received by everyone. Our welcome drinks of Elderflower Spritz and bubbly were beautiful too. I cannot fault anything - our guests were super impressed! Thank you to all the team, front of house and behind scenes for all the hard work that went into to ensuring our day went above and beyond. I would highly recommend The Exhchange as a venue for a special event 😍👍🏽🤗
