Wonderful lunch at an amazing price. We were a party of six. We had two courses with steak and roast dinner being the most popular choices. All were delicious. The bill for two courses, drinks including service was less than £30 a head. We were served by Holly who was perfect.
Had a wonderful lunch here on Good Friday. Staff were super friendly and food was great. Prices are reasonable and you really don’t feel like you’re scrimping on quality because of it.
Highly recommend this place. It is relaxed and just a really nice friendly place to eat.
We will definitely be back and hopefully very soon.
10/10.
k town Korean Burger was absolutely awful. Worst burger ever. Got order totally wrong. The staff were really rude. Don’t use them on just eat they will get it wrong.

The delivery was good but the food is so bland. The fried rice isn't fried, there's no flavour, the chow mein is the same, what a let down. It's luck I bought sweet and sour sauce, I could pour over it. There's no authentic Cantonese cooking at all, not a hint of garlic or ginger, spice, it use to be good.
Stopover night in Horley for a flight back to Canada. Thought we'd go in for a drink just to have a "pub" experience. Ended up staying for hours, it was Open Mic night and the music was fantastic! The people were friendly and the drinks really well priced. Highly recommend! (Although I didn't see anyone ordering food and there was no menu so I assumed there was no food service.)
This locals favourite when it was Village Brasserie (I think before called Ala Akash) for the last circa 15 years as finally died after new management. Since my last review it has just got ridiculously bad. It has got to that you can never order a take away on a Monday / Tuesday as it seemed they employ a first year student from a local catering college.
Then even at weekends the quality is never consistent and a gamble if you get a nice meal. Two weeks ago after a very poor takeaway (a curry in water) we decided not to order again.
Yesterday we thought let’s see if it’s different visiting the restaurant. I’m afraid not. We should have realised something was wrong when we arrived at 9 o’clock on Saturday evening to an empty restaurant - totally empty - felt embarrassed sitting there (it was also a day with FA Cup on TV - a 4pm game). We were actually worried if we would get a table - no worry of that !!
Then the food came — the food actually tasted powdery - I saw a documentary that cheap curry houses use powdered sauces - the once lovely Village Brasserie has resulted to powered sauces etc. Even the king prawns in the king prawn shaslick had a powdery coating.
Given how much they now charge it’s ridiculous. They don’t have alcohol, not because they cannot get a licence but because of their religious views !!!
The new owners has ruined this once lovely local restaurant. I hope they sell to someone who cares. Keep away to let that happen
Lovely place stop for a beer or food after a good walk. Friendly staff and helpful service with a smile what else can you ask for after a an enjoyable walk
Excellent Indian restaurant in West Sussex..
Took Mrs out for a lunch and thought why not got to jai Ho for amazing Lamb methi and lamb Parda Biryani and don’t forget the tender kababs and warm naan..
By far the best Indian in area and great choices of alcoholic drinks.
Thank you Suresh & his wonderful team kept up the good work…
