JaiHo at The Coppingham Arms in Reigate and Banstead

Walked down early evening from Garwick airport. (Walk not suitable if poor mobility. Busy 3 lane Rd to cross, narrow footpaths) took 15 minutes. Greeted by staff and seated promptly. Indian beer cheaper than restaurants at home. (Isle of Man) food excellent. Did not have starters with having 2 poppadoms each. Though wasn't asked how many poppadoms we wanted, Plenty of staff on. All friendly and professional. Would definitely recommend a visit. Used Uber taxi to return as it was dark when we left, so walk back would not have been easy.

Lunch with my son yesterday. Firstly on arrival you're warmly greeted & seated. The bar has an asian feel to it which is very cool. Tables & decoration are bright & everything well presented. The lunch menu looked great & reasonably priced. We went a la carte. We ordered a mix of fusion & indian food. The papadums & sauces provided an excellent starter. I'm vegan & a special curry was prepared for me with a plain naan. My son had special prawns, special rice, keema naan & we ordered a kebab, sag aloo & chicken biryani to take away which was ready for our departure. The food is all freshly prepared so there's a little wait that's worth it! Also a takeaway for my wife's late lunch, again wonderful food & beautifully wrapped. My son couldn't manage his food (eyes bigger than stomach) & containers were quickly produced. Have to say I can't fault this place a great experience, atmosphere in a classy setting.

We visited Jai Ho the last night of our vacation. We were obernighting at an airport hotel in Gatwick and found Jai Ho in walking distance. The food and service were both excellent. We had the Vindaloo Chicken and Rogan Josh Lamb, both were excellent. The Nan was also perfect.

Fantastic range of quality food, sensibly priced, helpful and knowledgeable staff - there really is nothing else to say.

Food was so so hot we could not eat it spicy hot. Even though the dishes we ordered are mild like. korma. Sag Aloo was just in edible made our evening with friends not have a nice ending as we could not eat the dishes

Had a great meal last night at Jai Ho. Lovely chicken tikka and chilli garlic cauliflower starters followed by Goan prawn curry and lamb shank. All delicious, great portions sizes and excellent service. Will definitely be returning.

How can you possibly justify charging £4.50 for a portion of steamed rice? We cooked our own (defeating the object of a take away). £4.75 for a Peshwari Naan, albeit a big one, is daylight robbery! My Goan Prawn Curry for £15.95 was ok, nothing special, and contained just 4 prawns (big ones to be fair but still!)! I have previously eaten in and been hassled and harried to finish so that they can fit in another sitting so will not go there any more, and will find better value take aways in future (pretty much anywhere else).

I was staying overnight at the south terminal at Gatwick Airport and decided a good curry would be a great way to end a trip to England. I chose Jai Ho and so glad I did. Not I my was the food excellent, very fresh and plentiful but the effort the restaurant and especially the delivery person made to get me my food went way beyond what one can expect. It was not easy to find me in the airport and my Canadian phone number proved to be a problem for the poor driver to contact me. As such they couldn’t initially find me and the driver went back to the restaurant. But they ever so kindly came back and went to great lengths to figure out where I was and deliver me my meal. Top notch service only matched by the delicious meal! Thanks so much. Delicious!!

We are regular visitors to Jai Ho and the food and staff are always wonderful. They have had the same chef for years and the dishes are beautifully cooked and served from an extensive menu. The owner and his staff are always very welcoming and extremely efficient and the restaurant is spotlessly clean. So good we are going again tonight!!

We stopped by for dinner at Jai Ho. Service was friendly and efficient but apart from that the evening was distinctly average - the vibe is nondescript and food was ok - but pretty vanilla English-Indian food without a real wow factor. We won’t rush back.

What a special find, we consider ourselves very lucky to have come accross this wonderful restaurant. The owner is such a friendly person who very evidently cares so much about his business that he's perfected the whole experience. The food was delicious and service was amazing. Every single staff member went out of their way to make sure we had a great experience and as a result, we absolutely loved our experience visiting this excellent establishment. Without a shadow of a doubt, one of the nicest curries we have ever had. Superb lamb chop, chicken tikka starters, terrific dips for the popadoms and delicious jalfrezie and fish curry mains. We will be back!

My wife and I stopped in before a flight the next morning from Gatwick - absolutely brilliant curry and definitely an unexpected bonus! Walking distance from the airport hotels and a massive upgrade for quality food, value and friendly service.

So lucky to be able to go back to the Jai Ho once again, lovely welcome and amazing food. This restaurant always aims for excellence and achieves it due to the constant commitment and investment of the owner. This together with the exceptional Chefs which produce the most amazing food make the Jai Ho a must. Booking is a advisable to avoid disappointment. Crispy Vegetables are just amazing. The lamb chops were delicious too. The list of amazing dishes is endless and they are all always gorgeous! Look forward to seeing you all again in April!

We have been regulars at Jai Ho for over 5 years now, but the prices have become absolutely ridiculous lately. Less than 2 years ago a mushroom rice was £3.75...it is now £5.35! Over £5 for a portion of rice anywhere is just completely laughable....
