Costa in Reigate and Banstead

I had a free coffee token so wanted to try something different, but didn't want to go too high calorie. The lady was able to recommend a few options and I went with the Haze Maple Latte, which was real good.

I don't know why but Costa Coffee in Horley just seems neater, tidier and calmer than other Costa Coffee shops. Spacious, calm friendly but not obsequious service, hot well made coffee...just a nice start to the day.

THE worst costa coffee i’ve ever visited. As a Costa coffee fan and local resident. I can honestly say the customer service here is truly awful. Cold coffee, cold customer service and no smiles!!! I actually felt like I was an inconvenience asking for a coffee. If you want costa coffee then make the journey to one of the crawley branches! I’ve visited many time in the hope they have adressed the staff issues with no improvement. It’s a real shame as the building and the place inside could be a great costa coffee with the right staff!

When I entered the cafe I said good morning, the people who worked there didn't even respond and I even went to speak to the manager of the establishment and she told me that they are human and normal when this is a lack of respect for the customer

The barista that she took my order she was really welcoming and smiley and her colleague who made me the cafe had made me the best flat white ever …. I can not praise them enough. The just made my day :)

This is one of the better of the Costa chain. Friendly staff but I do get annoyed that no staff seem to want to clean toilets or employ a cleaner. This is one of many Costas that don't clean toilets. Fortunately being male I didn't need to use the sanitary bin as it was packed full. And a hand dryer that pootles out hot air target then blast your hands with it. Really gross and completely unnecessary!

Normally great service but why do we get drinks served in takeaway cups every afternoon after 17h00

I have been to this Costa in Horley multiple times and each time I leave wondering why I ever considered going inside. Each time I have tried to give them the benefit of a doubt but they never fail to impress me with how rude they are. The staff are cold and visibly annoyed that they are doing their job. I am not expecting over the top greetings as they may have been there for multiple hours and are tired but the blatant disrespect is not okay. There have been times that I have arrived maybe an hour before closing and they act like I am ordering the most complex drink on the menu 2 minutes before the doors shut. They talk to you like you are an inconvenience. I have heard the staff grunt and groan when a customer walks inside even though the shop doesn’t close for another 30 minutes. Many of my friends have had horrible encounters with the staff here and Costa need to genuinely look at the people they are hiring and consider if they want rude, passive agressive individuals to be running their establishment. I was about to end this here but just caught a memeber of staff filming the room and complaining that there are customers inside 15 minutes before closing.

Great costa coffee, so nice having one in Horley.

I come here frequently to chill, read a book and enjoy a nice cup of coffee. Staff are always super friendly and welcoming, which creates a nice atmosphere for the customers. Thanks all

I had the Cajun Chicken wrap with a Caramel Late both of which were very nice! I enjoyed the wrap a lot more than I expected to and the late is amazing as always

This coffee shop is located on Victoria Road, not on this parking lot. Lovely staff, clean cafe. Just location is off on the map.

A late night hot chocolate - the only store open at the motorway services! Lovely lady- the kind you'd love as your auntie!!

Very nice smile staff with excellent services

Not very welcoming first thing was “you’ll have to have a disposable cup as we are closing in half hour” - no hint there! . Tea was awful milky and slapdash and I’d have better one at home. End of day but still a customer - close earlier if late visits are not welcome. I took my cup to the counter as they were clearing up and she didn’t say thank you.

It’s been a really busy morning with a queue almost to the door most of the time, the ladies on duty are smashing it, working so hard together and not stopping

Staff were friendly on our entrance. It was busy but didn't have to wait long. The staff and always happy to help with any special requests. Great service. We will be back.

My go to place to get work done in between shifts. Nice staff with a relaxed atmosphere. Just wish there were more charging points closer to the seating areas.

Bit poor the toilets was taken up for over half hour so reduced customers to using mother and baby one and when I mentioned to staff about seeing if the person in there was ok I got attitude there was no concern if the customer health and safety of the person in there was no concern bad very bad in my opinion so take away in the end

Lovely lunch break from work. The setting of made me feel completely at ease catching up on some reading on my own while having lunch. Not "crowded out" at all.

Very abrupt service today. Google pay not working also witnessed rudeness towards a regular customer who was having a bad day, it isn't the baristas job to read a customer's mind. Surely it is a baristas job to ensure that their customers day is improved after a visit to Costa. Not the case today

As what you'd expect from a Costa. Not too busy and very clean.

I sat down with two or three coffees by the end of it as I had to wait for someone and not really much else to do at that time of day in Horley. Coffee like any other Costas, nothing special to report back, just somewhere to kill time if need be . The lady at the till had a nice smile, service as you would expect, fast and matter of fact..as I say, nothing special, but useful, thank you

Coffee good. Difficult to open entrance door whilst on disabled scooter. Disabled w.c door very heavy to open / close.

Nice staff, I am not so fussy about choosing costa or Starbucks. Whichever is near to me i go there. And i am glad i got my perfect latte i needed that time. Indeed, she made a perfect caramel flavoured latte.

The lady who served me was incredibly moody and hard to understand. Wasn't listening to what I was asking for.

Loving the mint choc frostino, it' reminds me of a cornett of the same flavour but doesn't feel as naughty!

Just ordered small caramel latte...most vile cup of coffee ever tasted. Made better instant coffee at home! One sip and then tipped it into the gutter.

It’s Costa what you expecting? Just the standard food you get not much to brag about.

Pretty average Costa, Went here as my home WIFI was down. Did several speed tests over two hours and got no more than 5 MPS via the o2 link. Was so slow had to give up in the end. Coffee was nice although bit expensive.

Nice Bacon roll. Decent cup of coffee. Pleasant staff. Almost like normal times!

It was warm enough to sit outside, so we did. Wasn't overly crowded and coffee was up to normal standard!

Great coffee, friendly staff, comfortable seating and outside tables for when the weather allows, my local go to place for meeting friends.

I do enjoy their croissants, especially the almond ones, but for the second visit in a row there were no croissants of any sort.

Waited for me to que up and order, just to tell they don't take cash. Having a sign at the till clearly isnt going to help, if I have to que to get there...

Good coffee though spills and used items don't get cleared quickly even when only 5 customers in the cafe.

Who does not like a Costa coffee. There food is tempting and well prepared, if you have anything that needs heating, then beware because it comes to you hot. There is a variety of drinks to suit your taste, and you can add or take away from what you choose. My favourite is skinny caramel latte, but that’s just my choice.

Best vegan options, love the new vegan ham and cheese toastie 💚 And went back this morning for the All Day Vegan Breakfast 💚💚

Disappointed that there are still signs up for the Bonfire Spiced family, both at the window and behind the counter, only to find that that is over (yes, over a week before Bonfire Night) and the Christmas drinks are now available.

Costa coffee in Horley makes great coffee, but what I'm impressed with the most is the two young ladies serving. They know most customers by first name when they great, engage in a conversation that's clearly about that person which shows they've paid attention to general chit chat. And they really cheerful. Well done ladies

You get the best coffee here when the Manager does it.

visited today we go to costa at least once a week but never this one, staff so grumpy and unhelpful bar one lady. it’s the little things but my son wanted a baby chino they got me a cup of cold milk, no hot milk no foam no choco sprinkles no marshmallows when i questioned it she was so rude and said nope that’s how i make it so that’s what your getting couldn’t believe it! my son then asked the lady for a choco flake which was 50p! i don’t mind paying if they are friendly and helpful. i will never come here again.

Have visited this Costa a few times, today was a disappointment. The barista overcharged me originally for my sandwich, no apology, no smile, was more interested chatting with her colleague. Into the loo which whilst cleanish, was a struggle to get the loo paper out of the dispenser only to discover it was full of paper napkins.surelu at Costa profits they can afford proper toilet roll paper. Not only an issue with using napkins but the inevitable consequences will be a very blocked toilet!! Come on Costa, clean useable loos please. Aside from the above the drinks were nice & hot & lots of nice tables in Horley Costa so not as crammed as most of their branches are.

Coffee was awful here todat. I love my Costa but today even after they changed it the second cup was bad to.

We popped in following a long flight to Gatwick from Las Vegas. Coffee was good although they do not offer filter coffee yet😱 Nice clean loo.

Normally I have a nice drink a Horley Costa but today I was disappointed. I tried their festive ginger and cream latte" and despite being asked if I wanted hot milk, it was luke warm and not very gingerly tasting!

Meet here every Sunday with my best friend. staff are away polite, friendly and accommodating. No aircon which is a bonus.
