The first time to AG’s although we have visited the Reflections restaurant in the same location on a few previous occasions.
We had Christmas lunch, and the whole experience from arrival, with drinks in the Champagne Lounge to departure was amazing. The quality and presentation of the food was exceptional as was the high level of service and attention from the staff.
Highly recommended on every level
Complete cock up as soon as we walked through the door.
Booked a table for 2 for wife’s birthday.
Couldn’t find booking when arrived.
Sat down at table but was rushed through our meal as wanted table back for next booking.
Made us move tables which was filthy dirty, couldn’t even place my drink on the table it was that grubby.
Whilst eating my meal, I noticed dogs sitting on chairs.
Then to my HORROR dogs actually sitting on the tabLE being fed food ordered!!!
Absolutely disgusting and against all hygiene regulations!!!
The food was ok but I will not step back in a place like that that allows dogs on tables and chairs !!
It’s vile
We were let down at the very last minute for a family birthday lunch for 9.
The Horse kindly reorganised to accommodate us.
We were very grateful & had an excellent meal
Nothing was too much trouble
Thank you
A great meal out with a couple of vegetarian friends who declared that, having lived in the area for many years and never been in this restaurant before, it was the best Indian meal they've had since they moved here. For my wife and I it was our first visit, and we'll be going back. Excellent.
This fish bar has been recently renovated and has a fresh new look. As a person who is fussy about their food - I can honestly say I have always been happy with my food here.
The chips are not too dry or soggy, same with the fish and the oil is fresh, hence a good balanced flavour.
I know for sure being in any kind of restaurant business, its a hard act to follow - to maintain the quality of product and keep your customers happy.
I wish them all the best and hope they can keep up the good work
Great breakfast - available to non residents. Good choice with more than the usual options. Quality food and fast, friendly service from a lovely team of servers. Highly recommended.
We had a takeaway meal and it was really delicious! The chicken and prawn main dishes were very generous, all food was hot, onion bajis crispy, Peshawari nan bread sweet and puffy, tarka dahl and spinach based side dishes) plentiful and leftovers have just been eaten..breakfast😄! A real treat, thankyou to the friendly, hardworking staff : Hassocks is lucky to have you here. X🌺
We had a Sunday lunch on a rainy January day, sat by a roaring fire, and enjoyed roast beef and a roast pork dinner, very well presented and delicious, served quickly with very helpful staff who brought our dog a bowl of water and a treat. Only improvement would be the addition of crackling to the roast pork would be a nice touch, otherwise perfect.
This was our 'go to' fish and chip shop but it went downhill so we stopped using it. We gave it another chance as the other shops were closed this evening and I'm pleased to say that the fish and chips were back on form!
Just not very nice food. Food without character. Overcooked chicken & awful dry lamb that felt like it was cooked previously and then added to a tasteless sauce. Uninspiring and won’t use again, especially as portions are small and not good value.
Ordered with just eat on line. Advised at time of order 15 to 30 mins. No food after 1 hour. tried to cancel but not allowed. Contacted Marino who very sorry but no driver to deliver. He even called himself but no help from Just eat. Don't use Just Eat. This is not the first time this has happened. Marino himself then delivered our order just before 20.00. Lovely food. Many thanks to Marino. Just Eat can shove it. I will contact them.
