Absolutely love Naasta! Their food is amazing and there’s something for everyone, their wraps are great if you’re wanting a twist on a Nando’s. Also love their biscoff cheesecake, highly recommend! Their chicken shashlick is also delicious, really recommend you try!

Phoned through order for takeaway new year's eve which I know was busier than usual due to covid restrictions etc. .but was disappointed to learn that we wouldn't be getting the usual NHS discount as their reason was they were too busy .....it was a kick in the teeth really as we had used them many times before so wasn't expecting refusal for discount....now I dont begrudge paying for full price meal but when a restaurant offers especially nhs discounts to key workers then they should oblige the offer and not withdraw it just because its busy!!!Anyway we cancelled our order and took our business elsewhere....never go back ever ...disgusted with this restaurant...they should be ashamed....wasn't exactly brilliant anyhow...it was edible but nothing special so no loss there...better when it was a proper restaurant which was the Shapla ...at least it didn't look like it was from the ghetto....proper dining with table cloths and suits rather than looking like a prison canteen...

This was our first delivery and thought we’d give it a go based on positive feedback. We ordered online at 4 and it was delivered by 5:50... I assume as orders are accepted at 4 but really opens at 5.Desi bites: didn’t hit the mark- chilli chicken - wasn’t that spicy - ok- shingara - nice but only 2 small pieces not worth the costMains: both good- Bengali lamb Kosha: good- naryal ki lamb: very tastyWe ordered Small, but this was perfect for 1 (if not on large side).Sides:- pulao rice and steamed - preferred former- spinach, sweet potato, lentil Dhal -nice- paratha: good whilst not what we expected, maybe different in different regions of India Overall... it’s a decent curry, and nice not to be swimming in oil. I’d take the mains again but skip the desi bites and get my own poppadums. We did delivery but we’ll likely to collection next time if 20% discount remains.

We visited Naasta on Saturday night. We had such a lovely meal, the food was so delicious and different from your usual curry house. We had a selection of Desi Bites, each and every one as tasty as the other. It was a great opportunity to try some different Indian dishes that had a street food style to them. We then shared a Butter Chicken curry which was equally delicious. They also had an option to order a small/large curry which is great for sharing and trying a couple of dishes. The service was great and the restaurant itself was awesome. It was also very reasonable. We can't wait to return.

We have been to this restaurant several times and always found the food to be of a good standard and great service, sadly on our last visit with friends this wasn’t the case, after waiting for nearly an hour for our main courses my wife dish and our friend arrived so overlooked the food looked like charcoal and and was to dry to eat!!The waitress asked if everything was ok, to which I replied no sorry these to dishes are inedible and could she please have them taken of the bill as they were to bad to be eaten, to which she said I’ll as my manager, only to come back to minutes later to say they don’t do refunds!!! This is a truly shocking service, I informed the waitress that were were regular customers and she went to speak to the manager again only to return to them offer to make two new dishes, by this time we’d been there nearly two hours with a child and we said this wasn’t acceptable and we unformed her that we would leave a review on the service, I felt sorry for the waitress as at no point did the manager come to speak to us!!!!When we asked for the bill we were offered a complimentary drink which by this time was to little to late, so this was declined!!Our friends left a negative review to which she has now had a reply from the manager stating that we wanted the meal for free this is completely untrue and insinuating that we were trying to blackmail them for a free meal!!!!I’ll leave the photos of the two burnt dishes which we asked to be removed but again I quote we don’t do refunds!! To come to your own conclusions I am almost thinking that maybe it’s under new owners as our previous experience has been fine

I've had one or 2 curry's in my time. This one was impromptu, normally arrange at least a week in advance, but this time a friend called the night before and asked if i fancied trying out naasta, as you can imagine with only 24hrs notice and a fairly strict dinner plan I wasnt sure, but heck you only live once "yes please". Told the mrs to cook my spag bol anyway and I'd heat it up for lunch the next day, problem solved. The food was smashing, full of flavour, served hot. I know everyone enjoyed it because even as people were chewing they couldn't keep the smiles off their faces. It was a really happy occasion. Only comment to improve would be that the chocolate served at the end could be a few degrees colder in my humble opinion. I like my choccy straight out the fridge, I know that's not everyone's cup of tea but for people who like it room temperature could then put it in their pocket to warm up for a minute, just don't forget it's in there (I've seen it and its not pretty - but is very very funny)..Well done chaps keep it up.

If your looking for an Indian with a difference this is a great place. The theme is street food but you get a lot more. The restaurant is designed to be basic and give you the street feel. The food is excellent and the staff smile and are helpful. The menu is vast and contains the "usual" dishes but with a lot more to choose from. They do smaller dishes for trying something new, but they are not that small! They also do a TAPAS Sunday menu. Prices are very competitive as well. They also do a very busy trade in take a way.

In Brighton we are spoiled for Indian food. The go-to takeaway now is Red Chillies in Preston Drove, so we don't really need find any more. The best thing I can say after a meal in the restaurant at Naasta, is that if I order a take-away from here, drive the 20 minutes to collect it, then drive 20 minutes home to probably zap it to bring it back to hot, it will be worth the round trip. I wouldn't say that the food here is worth relocating the family to Burgess Hill for alone, but it is a big tick in the pros column if we ever considered it.The food has a freshness and fragrance that dances. The nan is so light it is almost a blistered chapati. The food is exceptional and I would rather eat here than The Chili Pickle in Brighton any day. and the staff are lovely,Indian food can all become very samey and dull, and when somewhere stands out as being a whole league above that, it's worth taking note. Naasa is worth driving from the surrounding towns to visit because it is exceptional.I am now a big fan and will be returning...often.

I placed an order, it took absolutely ages to come and this is why: the delivery driver couldn’t work out how to check both handles of the front porch door. He only checked one side, deemed them both locked using his powers of deduction (but not actually trying the other door handle) He did in fairness try calling to ask me but unfortunately it went to voicemail. When I finally saw a missed call come through (I’d moved to a part of the house with better reception) I called him back and then he said the door was locked, I asked him why he didn’t try the adjacent door handle on the double door and he countered with why didn’t I answer my phone. No apology. I said I was in a part of the house at that time with unfortunately no reception, and said that he should really have tried BOTH doors. He said he’d come back and deliver it. On arrival he opened the correct door (it was possible), thrust the bag in my hand without a word and left. I told him that I’d complained to the restaurant that he’d been shirty on the phone and that the food was late. He swore as he left. When I called the restaurant again they said they’d check what happened and call me back, they never did! I chased it up the next day and the manager apologised on the delivery drivers behalf but then countered that by saying that I had a responsibility to listen out for my delivery, thus rendering the apology worthless. I again argued the point saying the company’s other delivery drivers have, in the past, had no problems working out how to open a porch door. He kept reiterating that it was up to me to have checked for the driver. I asked for a refund for what was a cold and late meal, but he said I should have called back at the time to complain!!! It was late and we were hungry and so we ate the cold meal, what else could we do. I had expected a call back from Naasta so that a dialogue could be had about rude behaviour and late food. Food was delicious but the utter contempt I received from both driver and manager was utterly shocking.Rude.

With an extensive menu for both enjoyers of meat and vegetarians like myself, it's a great place to try! Not too far from the town centre, you'll certainly need that walk afterwards if you go with the same approach we had 'Try everything'The staff were all very friendly and nothing was too much to ask. All of the food we had was straight off of the pan hot. The menu had lots of options, including your classic curries and street food dishes and a range of spice levels to suit everyone. The "small" curry option was definitely enough for two with a side of rice and/or naan.I'd highly recommend this place! We’ve now tried Naasta three times in the last couple of months all having a delivery. Ordering is so easy using their own app for smartphones which shows their full menu and even lets you book a table. The choices of food are so different to standard Indian cuisine found in other restaurants and that’s why they are so good. For those that are less adventurous though they do still offer classic dishes. We have now tried various new dishes and our favourite ‘desi bites’ are the onion pakoras (like bhajis) and the malai chicken tikka. From the mains I would highly recommend the Naryal Ki Lamb which is not spicy, the meat is beautifully tender and it tastes like a korma but taken to the next level, we also love the Bengali lamb kosha which does have a bit of heat. The kali mirch ka gosht (chefs creations) is also absolutely superb, with a nice level of spice. If you order on a Sunday they offer a better price with one desi, one main, one side and naan or rice for £14.95. Another plus is you can earn loyalty points to save money on future orders or save up for a bigger discount. All in all from our three orders we couldn’t fault the food or service. Try it you won’t be disappointed!

That's what we came to do and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves, so much so we rebooked before we left. By mixing the desi bites with the small mains and ordering in stages you can take this new variant of Indian food where you want. The Marsala sauce is supreme! Setting is based around recovered wood to support the street theme and the wine list is simple (but adequate) and cheap. Think this restaurant will improve even further as they address the menu type font and table finish issues. But if you want to move above curried soup this is a great place to start!

Not too sure they are so different from the endless mediocre Indian curry houses in the area. Perhaps afraid to stray too far from what the unenlightened Burgess Hill clientele expect. My takeaway was just about ok. Still the sad little stale salad in a plastic pot that nobody eats and goes straight to landfill. Why do they persevere with those? NOBODY wants them! Shocking amount of plastic packaging. Including a plastic bag. The interior of the place is great but not convinced the food matches the hip decor.I had spinach pakoras as a starter. They smelt badly of cheap cooking oil. The main was so so. The paratha so so. I was expecting something like the real non English taste style food you get in the modern Indian curry houses in London and I’ve experienced in India. It all seemed a bit emperor’s new clothes. Appearing different with the decor but the same old chunks of dodgy meat in sauce.

On the site of our old favourite, the new closed "Shapla", we thought we would give it a try. The decor will take some getting used to, not sure I fancy "sitting-in" for a prolonged timeOpted for a take away, order placed by telephone and ready in 30 minutes.Portion sizes are excellent, and very tasty, the most disappointing part, only tepid after a short drive home - re-heating I suggest is a must.My main concern and one the "team" need to be very conscious of is the "home delivery" service. We were collecting at 6.40, and already there were about 15 orders lined up in the process of being prepared and 11/2 hour delivery time was being quoted. I worry that custom may fall away, if customers are forced to wait excessively and delivery times are missed.Apparently, you can order online for collection via the 'app", although this option is not immediately obvious. We'll be back, but will be avoiding busy times and home delivery.

Having eaten may curries in BH over the last 40 years I feel well placed to review this new offering. Placed our order by phone. Informed delivery would be 60 to 70 minutes. After 90 minutes we checked to be told the dinner was not yet dispatched ! The delivery driver could not find the delivery address in spite of clear instructions. Eventually arrived almost 2 hours after placing the order ! Unacceptable. If busy give a realistic time window. Other restaurants can !Dinner was unpacked and one of the three starters was missing. Unacceptable. Another phone call to Naasta. At least the driver knew where to deliver it.Popadom box ! Now what is that all about ? 3 popadoms crushed and put in a box ! There was probably 1/2 a popadom left in uneatable crumbs. Not a good idea this. We can divide up our own popadoms quite easily. There are two main meal size options. Small is sufficient for a "normal" meal. Go large if you are sharing or want left overs. Now lets get down to the food. The SAAG BORA starter was dry and tasteless. Bring back the onion bhajee please. The pulao rice was realy just plain rice with a ( very ) few coloured pieces of rice. Not Good. The main courses where actually quite pleasant. My Benghali Lamb Kosha was very nice and the lamb was nice and tender. Overall the other diners enjoyed their main dishes. The conclusion is that there are other better Indian options in Burgess Hill and we will not be using Naasta again unless we hear that they have raised their game.

For mains we had a Bengali Lamb Kosha and an Imli Gosht, both of which were excellent. The only let down was the bread that turned up which definitely wasn't a laccha paratha, but we didn't let it spoil the enjoyment of the rest of the meal. I would have liked to have tried some of the dessert options but was too full... Another time maybe. We will definitely return to try out some other dishes and hope that they've had a delivery of Kingfisher by then. A welcome addition to the local curry house options and somewhere a bit different too!
