Amazing Food cooked to order soo not soggy batter! Little wait but that's expected for fresh food but it's soo worth it! Staff are friendly & welcoming!

Ok, so let's mention the positives. Food was ok. Service was really poor. We arrived at 5.00pm, our food arrived at 6.10pm. No apologies for the delay or even bothering to take a second drinks order. (Not just us, another table had the same experience). Staff sitting around, appearing to be totally unmanaged. In the restaurant, where tables had been in use were just strewn with litter. Staff just walking past it, completely oblivious. The manager did give us 20% off the bill in the end, but regardless we won't be going back.

Incident Report – April 12, 2:00–3:00 PM at McDonald’s Hastings Location I am writing to report an unpleasant experience that occurred during my recent visit to your Hastings location on April 12 between 2:00 and 3:00 PM. There was a small incident that unfortunately turned unnecessarily upsetting due to the unprofessional conduct of the manager on duty — a young woman whose behavior and attitude did not reflect the leadership qualities expected from someone in that role. My sister has become quite fond of the Apple Cake McFlurry and has been purchasing it frequently while it’s still available. As regular customers of this particular location, we’ve come to expect some inconsistency with the toppings and syrup depending on who makes it, but today’s order was noticeably off. We ordered two McFlurries, and one of them had barely any toppings — literally one or two sprinkles. When my sister pointed this out, the team member who made it referenced the "one pump" policy. We acknowledged that policy, but this cup clearly didn’t even meet that standard based on our many past purchases of the same item. Initially, we decided to let it go, but since this is something my sister truly enjoys — not just to eat, but to savor — she returned to kindly bring it to the manager’s attention. Unfortunately, instead of listening or showing any willingness to resolve the issue, the manager became defensive and dismissive. Her attitude was as if we were trying to get something for free rather than pointing out a genuine problem with a paid product. It felt as though she was guarding a national treasure instead of a cup of ice cream. We weren’t asking her to break policy — we were simply saying that this item clearly did not meet even the basic expectation. A reasonable response would have been to remake the order, offer a small gesture of goodwill, or at the very least, listen politely. Instead, when we asked for a refund after failing to make any progress, the manager threw the cup in a rude manner and processed the refund with visible hostility — as if she were doing us a massive favor. As parents, we will unfortunately likely visit this location again due to convenience and our children’s preferences, but I felt compelled to report this incident. No customer should be made to feel like a burden for politely raising a concern, and certainly not treated with such disrespect. I hope this feedback leads to better training in customer service, conflict resolution, and professionalism for your staff — especially those in managerial roles.

I have just enjoyed a meal at the Brewers Fayre in Hastings, whilst staying at the Premier Inn. I only had a few minutes before the carvery was finished but wanted a starter too. Emma arranged for my food (carvery) to be kept warm until I finished my starter. Emma went above and beyond; I haven’t experienced such fantastic customer service in a long time, hence writing this review. I will definitely be returning when I’m next in the area.

Great old style cafe/bakery foods good and at a decent price also got some tasty treats to bring home with us very yummy .Definitely recommend we always come here when in Hastings.

I use this subway on a regular basis and I have not had a bad experience with the food or staff the only thing I would say they could do with a bigger restaurant shop as it gets quite busy at lunchtime

After spending far too long in the near by museum, (the palmists had us hooked) we came out to all the food vendors finished and shut. BUT we were so lucky that all the wonderful staff at 3 Souls in a Bowl re opened to feed us all. We all had a fabulous meal freshly cooked and drinks brought to us from their VW !! We all had different dishes and not a scrap was left!!

Utterly dreadful. Ordered the food (for delivery) at 7pm - was told it would arrive at 8:15... it arrived at 9pm (45 mins late) when it did finally arrived it was stone cold. That’s not the worst though. The standard of food was dreadful. Dry, chewy Aromatic Duck. Fatty, anaemic ribs. Greasy prawn toast. The ‘salt and pepper’ shrimp were totally inedible. Overcooked so when you tried to peel them they just fell to dust. The smell (of these prawns) also meant that you were not compelled to even eat the dust!! The rice was OK. The noodles were Ok.... that said - it was all stone cold.... sorry - I rarely leave negative feedback but I am rather upset by this. I tried calling the restaurant 6 times during the wait... no call was answered.... seriously everyone - avoid those one like the plague!!!

£13 for 3 bits of Cold Kofte and salad. Third experience it's cold and needs to go in the microwave. Wouldn't mind, but we don't live in Eastbourne. Only live just up the hill from them. Time to find an alternative. Not Good value for so little food. Guess cost of living crisis means small portions.
