Erols Kebab in Hastings

The best test, the EROLS Kebab got new management new test new staff Best Chicken Donner and best Garlic sauce ***** Got Chicken Shish this time, it’s the best New Management since May 2024 :)

Kareem is a great guy and i had nice hospitality by star aswell. Feel lucky to be able to eat some food so late at night

What happened to this place? It used to be good...

Sunday evening we would treat ourselves to a Kabab, as we have used Erols for meany years thought this would be a good shout! Alas we were wrong! We had a simple order for delivery, which we ordered over the phone, the person taking the order got confused! We said we would pay by card, of which he replied that the delivery man would bring a card reader. Once the delivery person was here he didn’t have the card reader! So I contacted the shop again to advise them of this! They said they would send someone up with it! By this time our food was getting cold! Once that’s was sorted out, we unwrapped our meal to find that it was incomplete! I then phoned the manager again to complain and asked for a full refund which he advised yes, and would send someone up! Once they got here they then said that they wanted the food back! I said no as by this time some of us had started eating! Erols used to be the best kebab house in town….Not anymore they’re not. In conclusion. We will never be using them again!

We have ordered from Erols several times and never had a problem but on Friday night we were very disappointed with our order. I ordered over the phone and was told half an hour wait. An hour later our food still hadn't arrived. I rang Erols and was assured food would be with us soon. It arrived 5 minutes later but unfortunately order was wrong. We ordered a chicken doner wrap but received lamb doner instead it was too late to ring up and get an exchange and as ordered over the phone we had no proof of order. No one in our household eats lamb doner so it went straight in the bin...waist of money and went hungry 😔 not happy 😑

Ordered erols special kebab turned up luke warm no salad I don't know about anyone else but salad is something I always eat with a kebab rang them up the said they would send it with a delivery driver two hours later still waiting don't order from here !!

Would never order from this place again going to give a wide berth from this one food arrived part cooked and raw in the middle swimming in oil and a sopping wet pitta bread couldn't get the order correct

Ordered chicken done pitta hard meat to salty inedible

About the 5th time now my food order has been wrong. The place used to be brilliant now its turned into a bad place to order.

Ordered a lamb doner and cheesy chips. Meat was greasy and very cold, salad was not fresh at all. Cheesy chips were cold and barely any cheese on the chips. Staff were very unorganised and ended up wiping sweat off of their face using a towel they used to handle food. Absolutely shocking. Wouldn't advise

Ordered a lamb donner kebab meal with garlic sauce and salad but no chillies with tango. I received a lamb dinner meal with no sauce or salad with Pepsi. Called the shop to which they argued with me and did nothing to correct their mistake.

Food arrived late, wet cold and wrong. Simple order two cheese burgers and chips, burgers had no cheese, phoned the store greeted with "what do you want me to do about it" over and over when the obvious thing would be send out hot food matching the order. Just disappointing never ordering from this place again.

Had a family get together so ordered a few meals to be delivered from here...apart from one! They completely bungled all the meals up!...gave us wrong items on some meals, didn't include sauces etc on others, and the anemic chicken donors tasted absolutely dreadful to the point that we couldn't eat them...even the dog wouldn't touch it! So won't be ordering from here ever again! Complete waste of money!!

WORST KEBAB IN COUNTRY. + illegal extractor fan fitted which abuses local residents. The owners are rude, unclean and unhelpful. NEVER VISIT unless you want to be sick…

Ordered 1st time from here by recommendation, never again, when food came it was cold (2 chicken kebabs & garlic mushrooms food was cold, phoned & complained said I wanted a refund was told boss wasn't there doesn't live in hastings, they sent another meal, apart from no garlic mushrooms, yes, food was cold again, what a waste of £19

I ordered a chicken Doner. There was plenty of chicken, but it was tasteless, and even the chilli sauce was weak. They took ages to make it, even though the meat was cooked already. The worst thing, was that the 'salad' was only onion (loads of it) and shredded lettuce, no tomato, cucumber, or any other salad ingredients. It is obvious that they want to save money, so opted to cut corners. Avoid.

Dreadful, dreadful quality all round, avoid.

Food was decent, Service was really great. Only problem was not much sitting space which is understandable as it's a takeaway shop. We had kids with us and they helped us. Thank you

Don't bother. Food was vile. Asked for a mix kebab hardly any chicken. Asked for the pitta and salad separately. They didn't do that. Was all dumped in the box. Didn't taste very nice. And I didn't get the drink I paid for.

Shocking....first time we've ordered from here, as it looked best value for money....firstly we had a pitta bread missing, and I don't feel calling the restaurant to deliver me a pitta is worth their time and money.....but I saw past that, easy mistake to make....but the quality of food is horrendous. Its upsetting people would want to serve this to their customers. Our lamb shish tasted weird.....it was also mushy....its like it was from frozen....and bad quality meat. It had been grilled, but when bitting in there was lots of mushy meat inside, like paste, similar to the texture if pate. My son said his burger was tasty however, so I'm pleased about that, atleast he got to enjoy his food.

Oreded at 5.20 arrived at 6.50 forgetting the chicken shish on the erols special asked for lots of chilli peppers only one. The wife was furious as she only eats the chicken. Hadn't been told of the price increase. Only ordered few weeks before they forgot the sauces & salad told them they apologised and gave a £1 discount & charged us a further £1.90 for the sauce. Can't knock the food but called twice to find out where it was to be fobbed off saying he's on his way further 15 mins late arrived.

Ordered at half past 7, out for delivery at 20 past 8, an hour later and nothing, called twice and told that they 'Believe' the driver left recently and would be here soon, 20 minutes later.. nothing. called again and told they'd call the driver and ring me back, nothing, no call, no food, no apology. absolute joke.

I ordered off Uber for delivery. The food arrived stone cold after an hour and half after the delivery slot and 2.15 hours after actually ordering. I called the store numerous times, each time was fobbed off saying it was on its way. Girl was talking Arabic and was told to tell me ' just tell them it's left and on its way'.

Over priced mixed Kebab seen more meat on a chicken suffering anorexia won’t be using again

We ordered a few times while passing by Hastings last March it was absolutely delicious with a fantastic service. We were back in Hastings in May and we excited to go back, and then it was so disappointing :( not great, with overcooked chewy meat... we realized it was not the same cook... we were so looking forward to it, not sure we will try it again.

8/10 for the quality of food but 10/10 for the quality of bossman.

Cancel order for no reason at all. Took their time over it. No reason stated how rude. Won't use again. Good not doing buisness with you.

Hi guys I been eating from this kebab shop for about 3 months it the best shop kebab this kebab is so lovely I cant stop eating from here they got the best garlic sauce 😋 they all ways give me free drink when I come collect I can't wait to order tonight

The food is really tasty and hot also it arrived on time and the staff are very nice when I received the food , its the best kebab you'll have In hastings and I've been going their for a couple of months now. never had an issue with anything that I ordered and the services couldn't be any better . Staff are so so sweet and offer free drinks any time I order

DISGUSTING!!! I'd suggest to think about it twice before ordering here. Can't believe i just paid for food that i ended up finish cooking myself and then ended up binning it!! Ordered Chicken Döner Wrap, lamb kebab and fries, Chicken was undercooked and still pink-ish, soft soggy bits of skin in-between, the 5 pieces of lettuce i found looked old and soggy. Unbelievably greasy. The fries i ordered too, were obviously refried, not sure if that was to heat them up again or whatever, but you know when they get fried a second time, the outside gets crusty hard rubbery and in the inside is just a hole. Unbelievable that they'd even offer undercooked chicken! My partner had lamb kebab and i wont go into details but we both ended up on the loo!! He ate almost all his kebab, while i , after putting mine in the pan to fry properly (!!!), couldn't really eat much as i was feeling sick and disgusted!!!

It tasted okay but the preparation was all over the place. Basically the lettuce was all on one side and the meat with the bread on the other side. You weren't able to eat it properly out of your hand because the bread was so asymmetrically shaped. They even put the sauce on top of all the meat(not in the side of the bread how you would expect them to do it) so the meat that was at the bottom had no sauce on it. Overall experience ok(maybe a bit disappointing) I wouldn't go there a second time. Nice staff tho

2nd time ordering from here, 1st time they got one of the Kebabs wrong & were quite aggressive when I rang to question. Today, I had my first ever kebab with burnt meat! Tainted the flavour to the point I couldn't eat it. Then my partner found a short curly black hair in her kebab. I will never go back.

Ordered a Chicken Donor and the box had alot of greas in it. I called to complain and ask for a refund but they refused and was not helpful. I was a regular customer but will not be anymore. Shame they couldn't just deal with the complaint like a business should!

Erols has just delivered a doner kebab to me and a cheesy chip wrap to my missus it was absolutely disgusting it a little bit of it and then throw it in the bin I feel like I've been robbed please do not use erols you will be really disgusted by their food

best damn lamb shish, kofta shish, chicken shish, and chicken donner that i have ever tried in UK and i am not kidding i have travelled all the uk and I LOVE JUNK FOOD so trust me i know a good food when i eat one. HIGHLY RECOMMEND LAMB SHISH. just wow, well done guys

We have been ordering from here for 3years, however the last couple of times we have ordered we have received half the portions we would have normally received, Pitta's stale and just not the same, phoned to speak with the manager and he basically didn't care, won't be using them again

I had the most delicious kebab from Erols on 26.10.12. I don't drink, so I know what I was eating. They were friendly, delivery was efficient and all the food was fantastic. I would always recommend this establishment.
