The onion rings and chips are so nice

I generally do not leave reviews unless they are really bad or good, but I had to warn people about this place as it's really bad. I had a simple Donner meat kebab with chilli sauce and salad, cost £8 which is average but the food was very poor. The meat was grisle, bone cold tough. Was the most chewy unpleasant Donner meat I have ever had, the salad had a stale taste too it like it had been sitting in stagnant water for ages. Avoid this place in my opinion oh and the staff had a bad attitude also.

The only kebab shop in Hastings that I will use! Never had a bad experience from here. Food is always piping hot, super tasty and delivered fast. I've had most things from the menu and loved them all, burgers are always juicy, kebabs flavourful and chips nice and crispy outside and soft inside. I recommend all of the food! Love it here! 😊

The food was late when i opened it it was cold never again will i order from there again also the chips were not freshly cooked

Worst doner kebab ever (if you can call it a kebab) Dry- did not taste like doner meat. Ordered a large - was more like a small, in this case it was a good thing as it went in the bin anyway. Would not eat here again.

They forgot to put in the chips. So In the end I paid £14 for greasy chicken and salad with pitta

Good service remade a kebab that was cold

Quick meat and chips. Few pittas couple cans of coke. Standard skinny man order on a Tuesday night after a couple of drinks…. Amazed to find 10 chips with it. 10 whole chips. I just have to laugh and go sleep. Night trip advisor. F kebab delight

We came here whilst in the area on holiday and it was so tasty we ended up getting a takeaway here 2 or 3 times in the space of a week. My husband and I always had the chicken shish kebabs. My children had the kids meals of which there was a good variety for a good price, nuggets, burger, sausage etc. The portion sizes were very good, the food was really tasty, the price was reasonable and I always found the staff to be very friendly and polite. We would definitely return if we were in the area.

Food always cooked well, good flavours and nice portion size. Staff are friendly and helpful. Tried other shops but this is by far the best in Hastings

Disappointed. The doner was dry and no real flavour. The chicken shish was a mess. The pittas were all broken up. Not impressed.

eat from here about once a week, never let me down. always had great quality shish and the donna is good too. Always well marinated and the chilli sauce has got a proper kick. I dont go anywhere else.

I am also confused by some of the comments as I have been getting kebabs every week for years and have never had a bad experience. The food has always been cooked to perfection and I always have a bit of a banter with the staff.

The low rating is confusing for me on here. Been getting my kebabs from this place for many many years, never had an issue with them. Food is always nice, delivered super quick still hot. Drivers could be a bit more friendly.

Ordered a quarter pounder and cheese, the burger was still raw, there was no cheese in the burger and when I rang the shop to ask if they could resend the burger again he was nothing but rude. Will not be using them again !

Always get my kebab from here. The place is very clean and tidy. The food always looks fresh and clean. Whenever I see them handle food they always have clean hands and use different tools/tongs for the different meats/foods. Food is cooked in front you and you can see them preparing and packing it up. Very reasonably priced and portions sizes are generous. All that I have eaten from there has never been greasy or fatty and food has always been tasty. Staff are always friendly and polite, will have a little chat and a laugh with you! Classic kebabs and sides available.

I thought I'd do another review as I feel I have to. This was my favourite place to eat, used to be fair priced and really lovely food I could never fault. Over the last year I've seen a slow decline in the products they sell and the actual quality of the food isn't good. My last meal (chicken kebab, lamb kebab and quarter pounder cheese burger). The burger meat was thin, wasn't cooked enough and loaded with way too much salad. The lamb kebab was dark on outside and uncooked inside.. The prices are high now and I would expect the standards to follow suit but no, now low standards and over priced. I used to eat from here at least once a week, recently once a month but can't see me eating from here any more. So many food outlets in the village, I'd recommend giving them a try and this place a miss

Can’t believe I’ve just got home to eat my chicken nuggets and chips to open the box to find about 5 chips in a box! So stingy on the portions.

Worst lamb shish EVER every piece of meat stringy uneatable wont be using again

We have been using kebab delight for 20 years it was definitely the best in this area of town, but over the last year or two they have gone down hill, they seem to get something wrong with our order every time and when you phone them and tell them they used to be ok but the last time I was spoken to very rudely by the guy in there. They have also got very greedy, there used to be a minimum £12 delivery charge which I could understand and our order came to just over that anyway but now they have brought in a £20 minimum which I’m sorry is just to much and greedy. We started using batman grill instead, much better service

They are in business long enough to know what their customers want, and friendly service I think that is good to establish, good luck.

The food here is ok, but they seem to get something wrong with our takeaway orders every time. I always write a note to the restaurant asking for the sauces, pitta bread & salad to be separate, as I don’t like it all mixed together. Unfortunately, they continue to get it wrong . . . . . . every time!

I love this Kebab shop and would often go in here at a weekend when living in the village, now I have moved to Fairlight I have to order a large amount to get delivery or travel into the village. Every thing is cooked well and large portions. The burgers are great. The staff lovely and always remember you.

We use their delivery service and generally speaking, the food is good quality. The only problems we have had is with the rum babas. They are usually a bit too dry.

Over charged me , wrong order , burnt food . Refused to resolve . Avoid at all costs.

Waiting 1 hour for a delivery and told it would be 20 minutes the order was incomplete and cold and we were told we would have to wait another hour for the missing item to be delivered !

FIRST TIME ORDERING NEVER AGAIN. FOOD WAS DISGUSTING DRIPPING WITH GREAS COLD. WAS TOLD THEY DONT DELIVERY TO MY AREA BUT THEY DID ANYWAY, WISHED THEY HADNT. CALLED TO COMPLAIN, ALL THEY SAID WAS THE DELIVERY CAR IS BROKEN DOWN, NOT WANTING TO LISTEN TO ME. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY.

Kebab was nice but was very dry

Waste of money .I bought large chicken Doner kebab on Saturday .It was tastless and from previous day, definitely not fresh. I managed to get an upset stomach from it. It was also over priced £7 for large Doner and it was smaller than the usual small portion in town. Also it sunk in oil and marinate which was tasteless.

If I could give zero stars I would. Terrible food.Arrived cold the bag was soaking wet dripping with oil and food was stone cold. I asked for all the salad basically got lettuce and one tomato which had seen better days. The hummus looked as though it was on it's way out.Staff really rude and obnoxious. I really would not recommend this at all.

Chips were soggy and the lamb was tough. Yhe pitta bread was cheap & like cardboard. Food is very over priced. £10 for a large lamb shish. You only pay £8.50 in london. £1.70 for a small chips. West end prices on a back street shop. Wouldn't eat here again. Theres plenty of other fast food outlets to choose from around here.

Best chicken shish ever and gave me free chips while I was waiting, because I was so hungry... Staff are lovely and always smile and acknowledge you when you go in, no matter how busy 🏅🏅🏅

Ordered it, paid for it, when delivered it was completely the wrong order, so called to explain and was told " we are to busy to sort it out"

Delicious, our meal was lovely, good portions. Also driver forgot to leave free bottle of drink and came back with it without being reminded. Very happy, finally found a really good kebab shop.

I have been using this kebab shop for at least 15 years. We move to Three Oaks 2 years ago and still used them. On their flyer it says minimum charge on £8 in 3 mile radius we only live 1.9 miles away and they want to charge us a £20 minimum order charge now needless to say we will not be using them any more

Worst kebab shop in Hastings, first visit and was just terrible. Delivered within 10 minutes, which is worrying already for 4 different meals. All warm and the doner meat had definitely just been sat in a container for hours - basically just rubber and covered in fat. Defiantly will not be returning.

Food okay but it’s the smallest large donner I have ever had

Love the food from here, always cooked well. orders always turn up hot, sometimes we have to wait a little longer but is well worth the wait. The girl taking the telephone orders is very helpful when not sure what to order, always polite and friendly and even makes me laugh. Great kebab shop all round.

Have used the same kebab delivery for years and it’s recently gone down hill so been looking for a good replacements First order with kebab delights and would order again. Ordered 3 large chicken shish kebabs, this was only due to there being no option to order an extra large chicken shish so hubby wanted two large ones! The chicken was huge chunks, perfectly cooked, and not dry, lovely chunks of pepper and onion too which many don’t give. Salad was fresh and plenty of it. Was pleased that the pitta came separate rather than all the meat and salad loaded in it as it just makes the pitta soggy. A suggestion would be to include 2 pittas with large kebabs, especially given the price. Very tasty and would definitely order again. My husbands eyes were bigger than his belly and he’s just finished his leftovers for lunch! Easy to use on line order system too!

Ordered food took over hour to be delivered arrived cold sent back with driver who agreed called them no offer to replace just told sorry busy avoid had to put 1 star inorder to post this review girl on phone in shop very ruid

Ordered food from kebab delight, driver was brilliant but was missing one burger that we ordered and PAID for. Driver left before we could tell him. Rang up the shop to see what they could do, refused us a refund and wouldn't drop the missing burger off. Terrible customer service, rude staff and unhelpful.

What a shame. Always buy from here. Tonight was disappointed. After an hour and a half the food arrived. Burger was ok. But chips were soggy and cold. And the doner kebab was dry and cold and was just dumped on top of pitta, not inside like it usually is. Dont take on too many orders if it causes your standards to drop!

The worst kebab in Hastings, 2 large chicken kebabs, cost £16.00. No peppers, no onions and 1 slice of tomato. The chicken was over cooked and the sald what we got of it was soggy. Will not be returning.

I had just gone to KFC, for my wife and stepson, and as I don't eat chicken, I usually have a kebab instead. I was in the area, so thought I'd give Kebab Delight a try. I've never used this restaurant before, so I was optimistic. I ordered kebab meat, chips and cheese. Upon first inspections the restaurant is clean but, their practices aren't!! I saw them placing freshly grilled pitta breads upon RAW chicken kebabs!! Glad I didn't order my usual kebab!! Anyways, I got home and the kebab meat tasted like raw onions, the cheese....well, what cheese!! and the chips were like bullets!! Glad to say, from now on, I will be using my local kebab shop and not any others......stick to what you know best

Used to order all the time but won't be any. More kebab turned up cold with rock hard meat hardly any salad just all thrown together in box. For got my drinks when rang up to ask for them to be delivered they was not happy driver turned up very rude swearing as he walked away won't be ordering again

I have been using this kebab shop for the past few years and is always very good and consistent. The shop is always very clean and busy with a 5* hygiene rating, staff are friendly and willing to adapt dishes and cook to your requirements. Chicken Shish is what we go for. Chilli sauce is good clearly Homemade with a little punch. Thanks for your service and keep up the good work !

My Nan lives in Hastings and whenever I visit her I always go to this kebab shop. Good value for money and the chilli sauce is top notch!

Fantastic food (If you like Kebabs) and friendly staff. The Chicken Kebabs are to die for and VERY good value. Its only a small shop but judge a book by its cover at your peril.

Friendly staff always greet me with a smile & 'Yes boss'. Great selection of typical Turkish kebab shop fare, always well cooked & reasonably priced. Never had anything but great food from this shop, in over 20 years of custom..

kebab arrived cold, complained replacement sent again this was cold, staff rude. dont not use.....

Have been using kebab delight for 20yrs+ whilst living in Ore village collecting my food each time recently moved to Fairlight 3 miles they wont deliver so more orders from me use scoffers who will deliver from further away and drive straight past them.

Worst kebab shop staff, so rude ! Politely asked for my meat well done as I always do at other places too & these guys seemed to have a massive problem with it & were so rude I ended up walking out , disgusting customer service!

Our friend comes from London to visit and the one thing he insists on is a chicken & lamb Shoshone kebab whenever he visits, he says you can't beat the size, the price or the taste! We agree! Great service & great food!

First time ordering from these ! Will not be ordering again When asking the telephone girl questions , we was lead to believe there was enough food ! Then speaking to owner / manager , not pleasant Response , it was then our thought for ordering wrong kebab !

Not happy with my order atall had a hair in my chicken kebab and my son found a really long hair in his chips and pitta and also asked for loads of burger sauce and hardly had any not happy atall won't be ordering again

The grease was literally dripping out of the bag, and the chips were cold and hard. Definitely won't be using again
