Mr Pizza in Hastings

The food is very good, tasty, the portions are large, they offer discounts on their website. The doner wrap, kofte kebab, cheesy chips, burgers and the cod and chips are our favorites. All the food is delicious.

It’s pointless leaving a messages in the note for this takeaway, as they never read them. Apart from that I don’t usually have a problem at this takeaway. But this time the garlic, ham and cheese bread was ok but in my opinion over cooked. Not as nice as last time. Sorry guys.

It’s really gone down hill in recent times. Only ordered 2 items and they forgot the salad with the kebab and the sauce ( of a water consistency) was poured all over it instead of being served separately making it quite inedible. Pizza was ok and arrived within the time given.

Garlic bread was lovely. Unfortunately the kebab meat was anaemic and tasteless and the salad tasted and smelt off . Sorry but second time have tried here now recently and I think the meat needs cooking more and seasoning . Used to order from here before and was always decent food and tasty

What a joke this place is ordered a pizza hour and half later still no pizza phoned asked where pizza was told couldn't find order but took my money away avoid at all costs

Re ordered since - still overpriced and vile. For some reason it took over an hour and half to get to us when we are only 20 mins away, food was cold and cheap for the price you pay. Ordered from here regularly over the years - will NOT use again. My meal was supposed to be a plain cheese pizza. It arrived with donner meat, phone restaurant to complain and ask for my meal to be sent out correctly, they refused and even had the cheek to say the chef didn't put donner meat on my pizza, he did and the photos show it. Horrible customer service. Would not reccomend

Food was great. proper homemade sauces, Kebabs all really well seasoned and lovely soft fluffy pittas

ordered rumbaba, and cream cheese jalapeño bites they called after I placed the order telling me they dont do these any more (why are they in the menu then? I asked for a refund (only ordered from here for these particular items, as really fancied them! they told me no they don't do refund, sent mozzarella sticks and hummus instead ment to have salad with hummus (no salad sent) food arrived stone cold, burger buns were stale dry, wet soggy salad, disappointed won't be ordering from here again!

Used to love Mr Pizza but will no longer use it. Found it difficult to place order and even more difficult giving delivery address. After an hour of waiting, Mr Pizza called me to further discuss the address. In the end it took 1 hour and 40 minutes to get the delivery, which was correct, but totally cold

Don't order from here garlic bread has mould spots and seafood pizza tasteless he buy stuff at marked lower price and charges upto double which if it has lower marked price u can't charge more than that under uk trading law all i got told dont buy from here he allowed do that also cans coke marked £1 he sells £1.30 he said well got make profit not under uk law u cant do that this will now be passed on to trading standards. And takeaway always taste of salt even said no salt but will be passed to trading standards environmental health get him shut My pizza arrived cold and garlic bread has 3 MOULD SPOTS ON

My food arrived half an hour late, taking over 1.5 hours. And no surprise why, as you can see how long this battered cod was cooked for. Despite the rest of the food being cold to the touch. And when ringing the restaurant this was the conversation: Me: hello, I have had a delivery and my Fish is black, burned. Staff: Yeah? Me: my food is inedible Staff: sorry, we have new staff members working Poor service, poor quality food, poor delivery time.

Absolutely awful. Pizza turned up with mould on the bases. Phoned restaurant to complain and they sent out replacements which were only 1/4 of the original order and smaller than the ones we paid for. Avoid.

Spent £60 via their own app for MOULDY pizzas to turn up! Tried to call and complain and they swore at us and told us we were liars and refused to refund us. Absolutely appalling, would never go here again.

This used to be our favourite pizza place but since they changed ownership, it's literally the worst. Ordered via "just eat" waited, and after no movement from tge delivery driver icon it just said "enjoy your meal" as though it had been delivered. I called up to make sure it hadn't gone to the wrong address and was told to wait "5-10 minutes" after 15 minutes called back and told to wait another "5-10 minutes"-which we did. Nothing. Called again and I said "we don't mind at all if the order is late, these things happen, i just want to know where the driver is" the man said "I'll find out" and abruptly hung up. Husband called this time and after politely again just double checking that it is coming, was hung up on"-it gets much worse! Driver and passenger eventually turned up, brought one pizza to the door whilst our other one was on the passenger's lap. Husband had to request the reat of our order amd they stood around awkwardly i think waiting for a tip? We took the order inside and opened it up to find one pizza was the wrong order and both were stone cold, very greasy with a stale base. I called to ask when the owner would be back because this is not the service we are used to from this place-this was appalling and HAD to be under new ownership, when i told him what happened, he was rude and ended the conversation by saying "never order from us again, F**k you!" And hung up! NEVER ORDER FROM HERE

Arrived on time, all food cold. Pizza tasted of pork ( no toppings were pork) the dough wasn't cooked properly either. Wrong drink choice arrived too. Pretty disappointed 😞

Nice food friendly stuff on time delivery

We have used Mr Pizza for many years but no longer. Every order recently has been wrong. Last night after waiting over 2 hours, my 'vegetarian hot' came......with pepperoni and unidentified brown lumps of meat......! Just vile. Phil will be in touch with you later to complain. Which bit of vegetarian do you not understand?

Our chicken kebabs tonight weren’t a patch on what we’ve had before. They were so soggy that we could hold the kebab on the plate and drain the water off. No sign of garlic sauce either. It would be good if there was an option to order salad and sauce separately to avoid this in the future. Such a shame for £18 worth of food which was meant to be a bit of a treat.

I ordered my meal on just eat.When I took it home it was minus cheesy chips.I spent a lot on my order and I'm a regular customer.I rang and was told a load of rubbish,that they had no drivers and I could have order tomorrow.I don't want it then.Ive complained to just eat.Never again.Do not bother with Mr Pizza,that's my advice!!!

Possibly the worst ever kebab I’ve ever had, mr pizza used to be amazing with great customer services.. it seems to have changed owners again, absolute disgrace to what once was a fantastic kebab shop!

I have no words to discribe it was that bad vegetarian pizza exstreamly thin base very little tomatoes sause onions sweetcorn and black olives the chase was chewy and left a bad after taste. Chicken and ham pizza base and sause same but meat was so dry it's like it been over cooked and left out. I would not recommend to any one any more use to be nice till the place was done up now I wouldn't feed it to a starving dog just incase it got I'll.

Have always used them in the past, but not now. My last two deliveries have had part of the order missing. Ordered a chicken kebab, I got three pieces of chicken and a pitta bread. Rung them up, and they brought me the salad and sauces. Showed them the kebab they sent me. The man himself said that's unacceptable, took a photo and then said I get them to ring you and sort you some more food out. Still waiting phone call and my food a day later

Been using Mr Pizza for years as great food, just realised from reading other reviews it's changed hands. Worst takeaway ever.

Just had our 1st delivery from here via deliveroo and credit where credits due the food was amazing and the portion sizes were spot on. I take my hat off to you Mr pizza. Great job, keep up the good work, the delivery driver was lovely also

This place was an absolute boon to me when I had to self isolate for months on end. The food was great, the delivery service excellent. As a result I continued to give them my custom up until very recently ( early March 2023 ). Apparently the ownership has now changed and the whole experience has changed for the worst. They no longer accept PayPal and it seems they just want cash payments. When I phoned to query this the person who answered the phone just kept repeating that 'the boss wasn't there'. After 3 years of being a regular customer I'm calling it a day.

Myself and my partner were really craving a kebab, we haven't had one for a while as the last few we had from other places were disgusting greesy and just not worth the paper the box was wrapped in let alone the ridiculously overpriced money they wanted , it had completly put us off ! But we thought we would try one last time before our kebab eating days we're over for good! And I can honestly say Mr pizza (a pizza shop of all places deffo did not disappoint was delicious the portion size huge and cost considerably low! Deffo considering how much food we received, half way through I was stuffed but yet couldn't stop eating lol!!! Wasn't at all greesy like from other places the meat (lamb donner) was cooked perfect. Myself and my partner consider our self's to be quite critical when it comes to food, but Mr pizza have deffo smashed this we will deffo be eating from there again. Not only (as mentioned a lot now) how good the food was but the customer service was spot on to! I gave 5 stars because i generally feel they deserved them. !!!

Been using for some time now and love the food, the selection, quality and quantity. Prices are very reasonable, but the delivery the last few times has been ridiculous. 45 estimated to an additional 30-40 mins once order placed. Then probably another 20-30 mins on top. Once or twice is fine, but has been every time for several orders. Shame.

Beautiful food, perfectly cooked chicken donor, Sheesh etc very good portions too....until....after a few orders, the same care isn't taken any longer, they start to miss things off your order...then when you phone them to complain, they offer nothing more than a free bottle of pepsi off your next order, by that time... meal is ruined!

Tried it for the first time and their pizzas are superb. Very tasty and delivered speedily. The only reason they haven't a max score is because they (top scores) look fake. These guys are the real deal. Well done Mr Pizza. Can't wait to taste Mrs Pizza's version.

Disgusting customer service. Ordered via Just Eat. Told an hour. Phoned after an hour and a half after to be told would be another half hour. Fine, it’s a busy night. Another 45 minutes pass so phone again. Told will be another half hour. Explained this was un acceptable as had hungry children. Was told was a 2 hour wait to begin with and when I tried to explain I wasn’t told this, the answer was “we can’t say 2 hour wait on just eat”. Tried to explain that if I had been told the real delay when I first phoned I wouldn’t have been happy but at least would have known. Didn’t realise I was talking to thin air as the phone had been handed over to a rude “lady” who asked “what’s the issue”? Explained again and asked for a manager to be told “too busy to speak to you”. I got angry (hangry at this point) and swore and hung up to then be repeatedly called back just so they could gloat they don’t have a head office to complain to. NEVER EVER ORDER FROM THESE RUDE AND OBNOXIOUS PEOPLE!

Guys best darn chicken donner iv had, not over cooked or burnt absolutely spot on.

I stopped using it as it wasn’t particularly very well organised in there, and the food had gone down hill. I decided to give them another chance after about 2 years, well that was a mistake, stood in there for 25 minutes, waiting for 2 burgers, and 2 kebabs, plus chips, I got the food home, now I only live 3 minutes away by car, and apart from the last item that had been cooked on the grill everything else was cold. They clearly cannot know how to cook one order and have it all ready at the same time, rather than make some bits and just have them sitting getting cold. I know they have deliveries to do but even then, really poor food and service. Needless to say that was the last chance, I shall not be going back ever again.

ordered, as i did often, waited over an hour, phoned to see where it was and wasnt even started. girl on phone was rude, asked for manager who was equally as rude. dont supose it will matter much but you have lost a really good customer.

I order a delivery this Sunday. 40 minutes after the order was meant to be delivered I rang them and was told it was a bank holiday and they were delayed, but my order was in the oven. After I explained my disappointment with the service another chap was put on the phone to talk to me and offered the option of a possible discount. I asked how long would it take and this fellow said 25 minutes. That means the order was not even made up let alone in the oven. They lied and I gather after asking around they do this regularly to online and telephone orders. Be warned buyers!!! 😢☹️👎 I didn't want to give them any rating as they don't deserve any...

I ordered food at 7:30pm with an estimated delivery time of 35-45mins wait, after a wait of 90 minutes I phoned to see where my food was to discover they were just about to start cooking it, when I questioned this and asked how long it would be the rude girl who I spoke to said, well as long as it takes to cook it and get it to you! I again said how long would it be, I dunno about 15-30 mins...very helpful, so if it arrives in that time frame I will have waited two hours to get a pizza, what a joke will not be ordering from here again...I have ordered here before and usually have had pretty good service but today is an absolute joke!! Not even an apology for the lateness...

We used deliveroo for the first time and chose 5 items from Mr Pizza. It was delivered 10 mins earlier than expected which pleased the kids😀 the food was delicious, exactly what we ordered, lovely and hot and the delivery driver was really friendly. Usually a fantastic service but not today. When I ordered it asked me to choose a time I chose 1545 and our food eventually turned up at 1635 all cold my wifes pizza burnt and inedible my daughters burger and chips cold and my pizza cold also. It will be a while till we decide to order from here again and it's a shame as was once a great place to eat from

5/5 - Mr. Pizza is a fine man. I turn up to t he store at 3:48pm on a Thursday , mid-July. Calling out in rhythm, my five brothers and I walk into the store sing for the presence of Mr. Pizza - as is culturally appropriate (I've been to Italy). The young man at the front desk clearly hadn't been working there very long, as he could not seem to understand our request. After a 10 minute back-and-forth with the senior kitchen staff, we eventually made our way (the hard way) into the back office. The youngest of us brothers five began crying when we found that the room was empty. Attempting to calm my young brother, I fed him the closest thing I could find: Mr. Pizza's Secret Pizza sauce. At that moment, a man who we can only guess was the true Mr. Pizza crashed into the room. Bellowing at the six of us, he demanded we leave. As he dialled "999" on his phone, we knew we had to leave. Ordered the cheese-free margherita on the way out. Not bad,

Hi We were camping at a pop up campsite at Stonestile Lane, we had a big order the service was fab, we made the order by phone and it was here within a flash. We met them at the entrance, great value for money everyone was thrilled with their kebabs and pizza it was all delicious. Give them a try you won’t regret it.

As kebabs shops go in hastings they are all fairly similar, but mr pizza stands above the rest in my opinion because the quality is above average, the service is excellent, the price reasonable. I would suggest that if you can collect you should because they are popular and I regularly wait 50-70mins for delivery.

Have used outlet numerous times ,do try to collect as about half a mile away but due to illness decided on delivery ,order taken with no mention of time ,almost hour passing ,so called on same phone no answer,tried another number got answer ,operator could not care less ,said I would cancel as they hadn’t even made up order and got a whatever ,Don’t rely on a good service

So below is a review of what I wrote a month ago. Genuinely was the best pizza I'd ever had. Had the same again tonight and was BY FAR the worst! It was black, burnt, dry and had no filling in my stuffed crust & my partner had the wrong topping on his! It was so hard to eat and ended up ordering from somewhere else!! Literally just been delivered. I've had one slice & had to leave a review. Oh my lord!! The best pizza I've had. We ordered 2x American hot (1 stuffed crust). Perfect pizza!! Thank you :D

Absolutely awful. Last month I ordered the same (American hot stuff crust) it was the best pizza I'd ever had. This time it was by far the worst, it was burnt, there was no cheese in my stuff crust, it was as dry as anything and my partners had the wrong topping on!!

These guys are the nicest people, the food is the best in East Sussex. I could not recommend them enough. Never disappoint. Always a smile on delivery. won’t go anywhere else for a kebab.

This place has the best kebabs at great value, won’t go anywhere else. Sometimes you have to wait a little while but worth the wait. This tells you they are busy as the greatest kebab shop in a hastings. Great service

Last few orders discusting kebab meat drpping with oil. Burger buns burnt. So much oil left in chips boxes melted together with a hole in them and oil running out of chips!

Food good but they keep forgetting about extras like sauces or peppers. And although I am a loyal customer they keep getting the amount wrong and charging me too much. Since Mr Pizza has changed hands it's never been the same and unfortunately I'm getting fed up with them.

By far the best kebab shop, excellent value for money. Great kids meals available. Staff friendly and polite.

I go to kebab shops quite abit I used to go to batman grill a lot until their standards dropped majorly so I searched for a better one and I found mr pizza this place is by far one of the best if not the best kebab shops in the area the standards are very high and the customer service I cannot fault sometimes I even think to myself I'm going back here purely because of how friendly the staff are I've even become friends with one of them it's an excellent place
