Tesco Cafe in Hastings

Popped in for breakfast this morning Ordered from machine Plenty of choice Had poached eggs on toast and some bacon Eggs were cooked perfectly Coffee great too and hot

Ordered this at 13.14 hrs, it is now 15.39 and the order IS STILL NOT HERE.

Really poor breakfast, cold and seemed to be served after being stood for a while. Had to return drinks as the were only like warm.

They continue to be able to provide a decent breakfast, egg hard and hash browns disgusting , soaked in oil, soft instead of crisp on outside and dry on inside . Could press the top and oil seeped up. You think they'd know oil has to be hot.

Service is rubbish and is every time we visit. Won't be visiting again, drinks are served 20 minutes before food arrives and on this occasion we have waited 30 minutes for a cooked breakfast at 10.15. Staff are far from apologetic and the pricing is hardly value for money. Very poor

I had the supermarket café staple of fish, chips and garden peas, served with tartare sauce and it was excellent. The portion-size was just right and the price was reasonable. I washed it down with Early Grey tea, which was served in a very large pot, giving two large cup fulls. The ambience was top-end for this sort of establishment and the service first-rate and enthusiastic. Won't hesitate to return.

3 hours late, cold food, avocado left to oxidised so long it was grey, soggy hash browns etc had to heat up when arrived a lot went in the bin

I'm so disappointed in Tesco for letting this go on for so long. My coffee was cold AGAIN. My chips were cold AGAIN. The toilets were strewn with used paper and only one hand soap dispenser works properly. I'm ready fed up with coming here.

Food was terribly prepared, the side salad consisted of a few leaves that were definitely past the sell by date, the coffee was eventually served after I had nearly finished my meal, and was slung on the table and spilling. The coffee was quite good though. Oh and no receipts available form the self self kiosks so do not bother with the QR codes on the cubes on the tables.

Asked for chicken burger with no bbq sauce and they couldnt leave it out so i went for the cheese and ham panni at £4.50. Never again! Absolutely appalling no cheese and was barely toasted.

Again my order was wrong, and for how expensive it is now, it’s pathetic. I ordered one corn on the cob, one gravy and one mashed potato. They sent two corn on the cob and one gravy. Plus the food (What a Surprise) was cold. Just Eat is a joke.

Avoid this place. Service is awful. Food not much better.

We went to breakfast which was alright, but the coffee was undrinkable. I gave it back but was not offered another or a refund.

hot roll came in same bag as an ice cold can of coke, the roll was Luke warm just edible, hot food should be delivered hot and kept separate from cold food.

Arrived perfectly on time, food was still warm and tasty 10/10

i ordered a breakfast at 11:15 it was delivered at 1:30 by a guy on a pushbike and food was cold. furthermore it wouldnt let me cancel order at 12 as it said the the food was already prepared but they hadnt found a driver yet so......other than these problems this place normally really nice

Food was undercooked runny in some foods and hard in others I used to enjoy my all day breakfast but its gone down hill

Took a very long time to assign a driver therefore food cold

Told them I was allergic to bbq sauce and asked them to not put into burger. They said they can’t it’s “policy” even though I’ve always had that done and they even added more bbq sauce. The only good thing they did was have a takeaway box so that I could give it to my dogs. The most disrespectful and ridiculous customer service experience of my life. Never ever going there again.

this place normally really good i ordered many times but today food was cold and the beans the only item that was luke warm rest cold

Came in today first time in long while. They now have McDonald’s style ordering touch screens. Which means less staff. For essentials Shocking!! The restaurant was pretty untidy most table left uncleared and not cleaned. Very poor once which pleasant.

Chicken in burger over cooked do super dry, like cardboard, chips cold. How does anyone manage that, coffee was like warm Definitely a no go

Staff are really helpful. The food however is always cold. You send it back and get another plate of cold food in its place. Coffee too is never hot.

Ordered food at 10:30 it turned up at 11:50 it wasn’t hot and they had forgotten the drinks!

Staff and atmosphere was amazing but unfortunately food wasn't bacon roll came out cold so asked for a different one which came out quickly but unfortunately was cold. Won't be returning just for that reason

Good location for a stop off and while shopping around in the store, lots of things to see and make a trip out for. Connections to other areas of the town via the buses, though rather a long walk otherwise to get there.

Delivery driver very good, food nice given it's not an easy thing to deliver. Two issues paid 80p for sauces and none delivered, toast didn't come with butter.

Cold toast and since when has a skinny latte been an iced latte can never get it right

I deliver to this Tesco Café, the staff are absolutely brilliant and also appear to look after their customers by cooking good food and good coffee. The warehouse staff also get you tipped and back on the road quickly.

Poor effort. Food was cold which can be forgivable due to distance, but the coffees were lukewarm too - the food was probably sitting around a while. Panini quality was terrible. At first I thought they'd forgotten the cheese - no, it was there, just so insignificant it took pulling the whole thing apart to find evidence it existed. Wasn't even toasted - not sure how they cook it? If they cook it? Breakfast muffin also cold and tasteless compared to the well known fast food chain one - the cheese wasn't even melted so no attempt at serving hot, edible food. Avoid. Toasties way better at Costa and Mcmuffins actually taste good.

Breakfast & coffee amazing but very very disappointed that tesco have installed cashless ordering & very complicated system which I had to get help with which caused me distress!!

The food was luke warm which was place on top off the caramel shortcake slices so all the chocolate has melted all over the bag, nightmare latte was cold for £30 this order was rubbish no serviettes really poor this time.

The egg was hard? The food was cold? And you put butter on the toast? So it went like mush!!! Sorry not good!

This order was delivered very late. When it arrived it was stone cold, my daughter and I were hungry and I have no cooking facilities. Two breakfast one vegan and one english, with 2 coffees cost £7.00 - chips were not there and it was really disgusting ......would not use the restaurant again and would like money back for the items missing!

30 min to get fish and chips . greasy and unpleasant. £2 for a can of coke . meal ( how I laugh) was £12 .lots of tables with dirty plates on that staff would walk by empty handed . never going back . .

Great food, could've been warmer but the food came fast. Regular breakfasts were great, as for the kids they ordered sausage and chip, blueberry pancakes and my eldest ordered ham and cheese toasties. All say it was great and filling. My teen added the cheese on the cheese toasties was a bit odd, but he is so it was fine. Sauces were provided and a great range of drinks. Would come again but wish it used to be the old carvery

Took 1.5 hours in total - no updates throughout. Couldn’t call them to cancel. Arrived freezing cold. I’ve launched a complaint and awaiting a refund.

You forgot my mushrooms and I love mushrooms so really not happy. It cost £1.50 to add mushrooms so I'd appreciate a £1.50 refund please

Hubby ordered the ham and cheese panini .NO sign of cheese with a very slim slice of ham that didn't even cover the base if the panini. Cost £4.25 not even worth half that.complained .managee was aware of the poor quality of food .but explained that the chefs had a strict policy as to what was on the menu. Got a refund. But won't be going back

I had two items missing from this order the toast from the breakfast and the orange juice for my daughter

i got about 5 phone calls from the guy delivering who told me I had put the wrong postcode in. I checked and I had not, it hasn’t been changed and i’ve ordered from here before. Says it sent him ages away and by the time the food finally arrived, it was cold and stale tasting. horrible experience and the driver hung up on me and one point.

so my frappe turns up with about no joke 4 mouthful worth wheres the rest?

Arrived hot and well packaged. It was a bit expensive so not something I'll do often, but I very much enjoyed it and will be back.

Awful. My Halloumi and Avocado was burnt and inedible. Sausages were barely cooked and we had to finis them off before eating. The cafe has really gone downhill and it seems that whoever is cooking doesnt really care

Really disappointing having had good food from here before but so many things wrong. Food missing, what was there was cold and quite inedible. Barely ate any of it and paid for items I didn’t get. Used to be really good but wouldn’t order from here again.

Absolutely shocking. Used to get this often but the last 3 orders have been incorrect and we’ve just waited an hour and a half to be delivered half the order and the buns have been sat out for so long they’re stale. Abysmal service now.

Delivery was late but that's not the restaurants fault. Food was great.

Disappointed as the bacon was cold, out of the fridge cold... Very strange!
