Saw a post on a Facebook page and decided to give the place a try, glad we did, all 4 of us were really impressed with the food, would definitely recommend it and we'll definitely be going back

Not on the pier anymore but in a bar in old town. Food was great, beer cold , music old school disco, staff really friendly, well worth a visit

An excellent find! We were looking for somewhere for lunch around the pier and came across this little gem. Fortunately we didn’t read the reviews first and I couldn’t disagree with them more. The food was excellent. I had the shrimp bowl which was delicious and packed with prawns and tasty noodles. My friend had the Thai fighter bowl with an lovey fragrant broth and really good meatballs. Sitting outside on the pier eating lovely food in a really chilled atmosphere - can’t think of a better way to have lunch!

I can only assume perhaps this place had some teething problems when it opened, because it's brilliant now. Tbh I don't ever remember eating anything more sophisticated than a hotdog on a pier before, so perhaps this is part of the reason I was so blown away by 3 souls. But the food we had was healthy, utterly delicious and really good value for money. And the service was friendly too. Highly recommended!

I went to 3 bowls in a soul first and just had drinks sitting outside on the benches with good view of sea. Served by a very nice Portuguese waiter. The next day we returned to have lunch and the food was awful! I had the samosa which are so oily and tasteless and my friend the chicken. It appeared all the food frozen and not cooked from fresh. The cakes again from frozen and very mediocre but pricey. Hot chocolate is awful, then the bill came and the waiter had added on someone else’s drinks bills, so check your bill!!! It was a total waste of £30 and when I complained about the samosa and sent nearly all back the waitress took no notice. I put negative reviews was then asked by someone called Raj to call him. I rang and he said he was in a meeting and would call me back. Never heard from him again. Very poor service all around.

Had to wait ages before our order was taken and then nearly an hour before food arrived, despite being told our food was “next one out of the kitchen” and then watching several other orders being served. Asked to pay even before table was cleared, the only thing that happened quickly! Mediocre over priced food and poor Customer service. Will not be recommending or returning. This was supposed to be a quick lunch with my Grandaughter but actually wasted nearly 2 hours of our day out at the seaside.

A fabulous Tandoori restaurant, right on the seafront - great quality food, very polite and timely service, great value. As a visitor to Hastings and St Leonards (and the UK, these days), I was looking for Indian food and stumbled across this gem. Excellent quality Chicken Tilka (it’s clear their tandoor is good and hot - there’s a beautiful crust on the juicy chicken chunks!), excellent lamb curry, and I can only assume their cilantro is locally sourced, because it was super fresh and tasty. Our server was an extremely attentive and pleasant young chap who carefully trod the line between being there when you need him and being there too much with excellent judgment - top marks to that young man, who deserves great credit for his work. The only thing I can say which would improve this place is more customers - they don’t know what they’re missing!

I really wanted to like this place as it would our local Indian restaurant and I like the variety of veggie options, including potato, vegetable or paneer choices available on a wide variety of dishes. Perhaps we visited them on an off day, but the service was so poor that for probably the first time ever in a restaurant we did not tip. We arrived 2 and a half hours before closing but the restaurant was empty with no music or atmosphere. We asked if we could have a table for two and were met with a grunt and the pulling back of a chair. Some music was turned on which thankfully made it seem less empty and quiet. We were given the menu but almost straight away asking if we were ready to order. We weren't offered a poppadom to start and when we asked for this it seemed to be an inconvenience. The glasses the Cobra came out in were poorly washed. Then, as we were eating the poppadoms, the waiter kept peering over the table and literally the very second one person finished he cleared their plate despite the other still eating. This same pattern was repeated for the mains. The last one of us to finish our main was left eating whilst he was reaching over and completely clearing the table around. We just got the impression we were unwanted there and an inconvenience. To make it particularly clear that we were unwelcome the waiter turned the music off whilst we were in the final stages of our meal. It would have been partially redeemed had the food been good, but sadly both dishes were bland, flavourless and lacked spices. We gave them a chance despite being empty and we can now see why no one else had chosen them on a weekend evening. Disappointing.
