The best restaurants serving Default food in Hastings South East

We picked up food here to takeaway, it was realy good, we had 4 dishes, sweet n sour chicken, crispy shredded beef, special fried rice, mixed vegetables, all realy good and bit too much for 2 people.

Excellent food, basic decour, very authentic, simple dishes and limited menu, outstanding service ….. a really nice memorable experience and will definitely make a return visit

Freezing cold in resturant so sat with my coat on, so did every one else! Burger was ok nothing special, small burgers. Had no potatoes tots so ordered french fries but all you could taste was the thick layer of salt.

Delicious kebabs delivered quickly. Good that they use their own delivery guys so you're guaranteed it to be hot !! Will order again

I think Cafe Nero is generally one of the better coffee chains. The Hastings branch disappoints me so much. When will they clean the stairs going up to the toilets? The dirt isn't superficial, it's years of disgusting grime and it smells horrible. It's been that way for the 4 years I've been coming here. The toilets appear to be cleaned occasionally but they are not what I'd call clean. Coffee and the service are fine but the poor cleaning extends to the tables.

Got two pizzas, which were fairly standard kebab shop pizza quality. Awful at keeping us updated, was over an hour late and kept fobbing us off telling us the delivery driver had only just left and then ignoring our calls

For the way all the staff made jokes and looked at me after ordering because I don't eat a certain food. I actually wanted to leave but had already paid. The staff think it's not obvious they're not speaking English that they're laughing at me yet they're all looking at me in the kitchen. I usually go to Chinese Town but they were closed. They're always so polite in there even though I can't eat some things if you don't want to make it just say no. Don't make me feel like an ass.

They don't answer the phone rang them 4 times I ordered for 1 hour ago and still no answer this was on just eat and haven't delivered food was suppose to be here by 3:20pm and still heared nothing back from them won't do another estimated delivery time on app either worst shop ever really poor service not sure about quality yet as haven't received my order I will not order from this place again 1 star I'm giving this

Cod was fresh, really tasty, perfectly cooked, and chips were really good too. Also portions were really generous. Friendly staff, would definitely recommend.

Sweet and sour was glutinously awful, and chow mein came with chips! Pleasant people though

Horrible everything! 0 out of 💯 ! Honestly wasted my time, money. Restaurant based on Royal Victoria Hotel. I assumed it was really good, as hotel look fancy enough. Me and my boyfriend came to check it out, as we were walking around day before and saw the sign outside, I think 🤔 it was saying Michaelen star awarded, but I am not sure, might be mistaken. - Stuff Very welcoming, attentive. - Food We ordered burgers. Both burgers looked okay, tasted ordinary, tomato was cold, meat tasted funny, like cheap meat from supermarket. - Bill Prices are average! Please do not waste your time! To management, Please invest more in your food quality. It’s an embarrassment!

The staff were rude and had bad attitudes. No customer service!!

Had lunch here. I had a jacket potato with cheese and beans. I also had a coffee with oat milk. My partner had a big all day breakfast and we shared some chips (perfectly cooked). This was around 1pm. Not crowded at all and food was tasty and good value.
