Two Bulls Steakhouse in Hastings

The rib eye was spot on; tender, flavoursome bordering on gamey and cooked just right bloody! My son had the pulled pork and red coleslaw very good too. Service was excellent, friendly staff and nice atmosphere. Chapeau!

Not going to waste time writing this. Had the pulled pork burger it was dry and not that good. The steak was very good and also the pepper calamary rings (fresh seafood). Not going to visit again. Only thing that was pleasant was the halloumi fries. Soft and tasty .

Wonderful meal, at very reasonable price

Came for dinner last night and everything was amazing! Very cosy atmosphere, friendly diners and very attentive staff. The gentleman who serves us was fantastic and the food was amazing. Possibly the best steak and chips I’ve ever had, and the mango meringue eton mess was 12/10! Will definitely be back.

The best steak we've had in a long long while.. was cooked to perfection with proper homemade chips & huge side salad plus included a sauce.. exceptional value for money.. sides and dessert were delicious too and will always return when we visit the area. Staff were friendly and attentive 😊

Absolutely brilliant place. If you're around, do not miss it for anything. Amazing food, lovely staff, and overall just a brilliant experience. We had chicken satay skewers and a beef burger. Both cooked incredibly well and served with amazing chips. If you're not too full from the generous servings, try the banoffee dessert. One of the best places I've ever been, and shockingly good value for the quality of the cooking.

Great steak options, cooked well. It took a little bit longer to be served mains but this was on a busy Friday night and our server noticed and apologised and I was offered a glass wine on the house. All staff were attentive and efficient and cost was reasonable.

Popped in for lunch and was very impressed with both the food and service. Very friendly staff. The Steaks were cooked perfectly and accompanied by the best Peppercorn sauce I have ever had and all was at a great price too on the lunch menu.

Recently visited here for lunch with the family. We came just about an hour before the kitchen was closing. We got our order in quickly, but afterwards we didn't feel pressured to finish up and leave. The staff where excellent and friendly. I ordered steak 'medium' and was very happy. The chips were great too. Extra chips are available on request for free, if you wish, but our waitress told us that very few people finish them. My some ordered the cheese burger and was very happy with his. This is a great little place for stake and value for money. Most important is that you'll have amazing food and service.

It was nice food but didn't leave me wanting to go back

We were visiting Hastings for the weekend and had booked a restaurant which went bust. A local friend recommended this restaurant. There was a large group of us and the food all came out at the same time which was amazing. The food was great and the kids had desserts too which they loved. The portions were big too. Would definitely go back when in the area. Katie was great too, very friendly and attentive.

Highly recommended, has to be the best tasting burger we’ve had in a long time. From arrival we was promptly seated , waiter gave us the menu and served us drinks. Cosy restaurant set out well. Food wasn’t much of a wait and was delicious. Can’t fault this place at all. Keep it up guys !

Was really good but they ran out of rump stakes witch is fine but had to buy a sterlion witch is quite Abit more was very good thou enjoyed every bite

Great atmosphere and staff, we had the lunchtime menu, I had the 9oz sirloin which was great but way too much salad on the plate and only 7 chips! Certainly needs more chips and less salad!

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Two Bulls Steak House, and I must say, it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. Our waitress Katie and Henry was attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely enthusiastic about the menu. They provided excellent recommendations and ensured we had everything we needed throughout our meal. Now, onto the star of the show – the steak. I ordered the ribeye, cooked to a perfect medium-rare, and it was nothing short of sublime. The steak was incredibly tender and juicy, with a rich, robust flavor that truly showcased the quality of the meat. The seasoning was spot-on, enhancing the natural flavors without overpowering them. The sides were equally delightful. To top off an already fantastic meal, we indulged in the house-made banoffee pie for dessert. It was the perfect ending, honestly the best pie ever - it's a must have. Overall, Two Bull Steak House exceeded my expectations in every way. The combination of outstanding food, excellent service, and a welcoming atmosphere makes it a must-visit for steak lovers. I highly recommend it and can't wait to return for another memorable dining experience.

When we arrived we were seated quickly by the waitress who was attentive and were given just the right amount of time to choose what we wanted , I ordered the burger with bacon and chips , the burger was juicy and tasty plenty of salad the chips were chunky BUT only 7 each which I found a bit mean ,others in the party had steak which they ordered med rare nearer rare and it came med to well done if they gave more chips or sold a bowl individually with more in I'd probably go here again .

Very nice discovery! The service was impeccable and the dishes were very good. This is a change from traditional fish and chips. The person who took care of us was very kind and attentive. It warms the heart ! We recommend.

We visited here during our visit to Hastings, I cannot express enough what a lovely friendly place this is, the food was absolutely amazing, everything was clean the staff were amazing. I would definitely recommend and revisit.

The food was amazing and staff were so friendly and helpful. The banoffee was so good and so much better than the Eastbourne Two Bulls. Highly recommend.

The ribeye, rare, was simply perfect, tender and juicy. The sirloin, medium, was a tiny bit overcooked, but very tasty. The burgers absolutly amazing. Thumbs up for the salad dressing, a fresh kick of flavor. The creamy spinach overkilled by the pepper, but you can't have all in life. The brownies (whit chocolate on top and cream on the side) a must: the sweetness perfectly balanced by the dark chocolate. A glass of Mabec to underline the meat taste is my suggestion. Give it a go and enjoy the friendly and professional service!

Visiting Hastings Old Town today as part of a short break to East Sussex area. We were looking for somewhere for a quick bite to eat and came across this place. When we walked in there was only two people inside so we were a little concerned about our choice. However it was lucky that we had turned up when we did as by the time we left the place was packed. The lunchtime menu was extremely good value compared to some other menus we had looked at on our way to here. We both chose burgers(Halloumi for me and beef for hubby) plus a side order of red slaw. When the plates arrived we were delighted with how the meals were presented and the generosity of the burger fillings. Both were absolutely delicious and piping hot and the slaw added a nice crunch to the plate. The staff were very polite efficient and friendly and we'd definitely recommend this place to anyone.

Treated to a birthday dinner tonight, wow the food was amazing, prawn cocktail full of juicy prawns and tangy sauce, Cajun chicken just delicious, and the brownie was the best I’ve ever eaten, soft, moist and chocolaty, friendly service, a great evening!

Satay chicken skewers were delicious, I had 5 chips on the side which were hard and not pleasant at all,chips here used to be like lovely fluffy potato wedges ,sadly not great now

Can't fault this place. Family meal for 10...so a large table. We didn't order starters just mains. Drinks were served and the food came after around 30 minutes -ish. Everyone enjoyed the steak that they had. Service was excellent. Say no more :)

Booked lunch here and was not disappointed, nice cold beer, decent steak, friendly staff and very nice atmosphere. We sat upstairs, you are on the sea front and we were also lucky with the weather.

2nd time in this place in 1 year and last time the steak was so chewy and nasty I refused to come back here, but then I was persuaded to try the burger, so tried this place again. Wish I didn't. The Burgers had really dry crusty rolls and we were told the supplier let them down. Burgers were overdone on outside way to pink on inside, so cooked on too high heat. 4 dark dirty oil coloured chips, the slaw was terrible, we were the first to be seated and they still got things wrong. Over £70 spent for 4 people thoroughly disappointed, there won't be a third visit, your out...

Took my girlfriend and little girl to Hastings for the day and ate here, absolutely fantastic place to eat the food was out of this world. By far the best food I’ve tasted for a long long time. Most definitely will be going back

Ive only visited this establishment twice now, both visits were years apart but it didnt change. Food was subpar, nothing to write home about, literally, i was looking forward to some nice thick cut chips i enjoyed the 4 i got. To which i was told thats the portion size, but the others who had the same got more? The service was ok for the large group we had but unfortunately the chef/staff thought it was acceptable to serve the children to which all had kids meals last. Given they had kids meals you would think they would serve them first but unfortunately they didnt. Overall was the best expereince dinning out.

Unfortunately we did not have a good experience this time. I have often been to this restaurant and have always enjoyed the food. Through the pandemic their 'dirty fries' help keep spirits up. But I must say this last experience there has put me off for good. I know Christmas is a busy time but considering we book, the table was dirty, the food was cold, and we felt very rushed predominantly by the person in charge. It was our Christmas treat, but it just didn’t feel special at all. Such a shame.

Went here with my partner. Got the satay chicken skewers, loved them! They were covered in a sauce with nuts in. Salad was very plain, but chips were homemade! My partner got a sirloin which he was pleased with. Fair pricing.

Wife’s birthday. We both had ribeyes, side of mac cheese, “dollop of coleslaw” (£1.50) and garlic butter (no extra cost). There are no linen napkins, they only had Gordons Gin and someone had stubbed a fag out on the wall in the gents. However, I do not care and I will not reduce my rating, because of the following extenuating factors: 1. Dry aged steaks cut off the joint in house. 2. Actually charcoal grilled. The aroma of our plates on arrival was an experience in itself. 3. Steaks properly seasoned. 4. Home made chips. A lot of independent steakhouses are sad copycats of sadder americana chain places. This is neither. The menu is refreshingly succinct. Product is good and properly treated. I am sure that anything coming off that grill would be great. Wife’s comment was ‘tastes like holidays’, sadly because good steak, properly cooked and seasoned with home made chips and a simple salad is sadly hard to find in this country. ABK Hells lager in tankards was great too. Staff also lovely and welcoming. Long may you continue. Thank you.

AMAZING! Big Fat Juicy Steak, Melts in your Mouth. This place is a must if you love the Steak Experience, cooked to absolute perfection! One of the best steaks we have tasted for a long time, the dish was well executed, and the taste was out of this world. The staff are fantastic, very knowledgeable, very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Overall price was very impressive. We will definitely be visiting again and again and again…….

First the moment we arrived everything was wonderful. The staff happy and welcoming. We both had the sirloin which was perfectly cooked with just enough sides I had the Mango Eton Mess for dessert which was amazing, my husband had the Bailey's chocolate pot which he enjoyed If you like a good steak this place is well worth a visit.

This resturant has the most polite member of staff and the steak is cooked to perfection, highly recommended!

Saw this steakhouse after visiting Fish and Chip shop opposite one Wednesday evening. Menu was offering Deals for Thursday evenings at £19.95 so decided to book for next evening. There was a warm friendly welcome and taken to our table. Drinks were brought up quickly whilst we were checking out the menu. The meal deal was for 2 courses, either starter and mains or mains and dessert. Decided on latter. My wife had Sirloin and I had Rib-eye (small extra charge). Steaks were good size and cooked to perfection with side salad and skin on potatoes. The Mango Meringue for dessert was delicious-and large! All very tasty. Including one drink each total bill was £48, Outstanding value for money. Meal was so good we booked to go back the following evening by taxi so we could have a few more drinks. Cannot recommend the Two Bulls steakhouse highly enough.

Excellent food, quality, service and value for money

Today, we had a really delicious meal here in Eastbourne for my husbands birthday .The steak was superb ! The kids loved their burgers too ! Service was also brilliant, and top it all the waitress brought out a surprise dessert with a birthday candle for my husband of which no one was expecting!! Thank you to the Chef and all the staff ! We will definitely be visiting again .

Great place, great food. Even better staff. I managed to feel a pint glass up with sick due to many expresso martini's. Chef even came out to clean me up. Will definitely go again, don't know if they would want me back though 😂

We visited whilst on holiday which was lovely because they were so welcoming and professional. The service we received was excellent and the food was outstanding; the portions weren't stingy. Would highly recommend to anyone that's on holiday or questioning where to eat.

Lovely place for the wedding reception

The Two Bulls Steakhouse in Hastings, UK was some of the best food we’ve had on our trip yet. And can you believe they had key lime pie? Of course, being the connoisseur and baker of my home turf dessert, I had to try it. It didn’t use key limes but it was tart enough to mimic, used a biscuit crust, and had a texture similar to our Cuban flan.
