KFC in Hastings

Don’t order online today, says open but they are actually closed and have been for about 4 days now. Just to give people the heads up and not have issues with refunds

How can you take an on-line order and payment then not deliver because you are actually closed?

Didn't have the selection of chicken available on a party bucket. All drumsticks due to not having breast in stock. I was starving along with others so we ate it. It was quite dry and not as good as a KFC should taste. The chicken was dry.

Can not understand the logic. Nor no longer the meaning of customer service. Ordered a meal for someone who was working late. Asked if I could have a canned drink rather than the cup as cola would be flat by the time they got home. NO... Can you take the drink off my bill. NO... Ive ordered a drink. You have canned drinks why cant I just be given a can. NO.... I Can Give You A Side ???? Really.???? Order left on side for 5 to 10 mins before informed it was mine. 🤬

Crap service, waiting 15 minutes for food and then order was wrong. Gravy very thick. Staff laughed at me when I walked away. I was upset.

Waited 15 minutes for chicken on the bone, not too bad considering it was very busy. Lovely staff, especially Tyler I believe his name was. Very good on the till and he also prepared the food. All the stuff were quality .

Went into the shop for a quick lunch and recieved some of the worst fried chicken I've ever eaten, I paid nearly £9 for a 2 piece variety meal which was massively greasy and was more skin and coating than actual chicken meat. Thankfully I decided to eat in because my hands and face were covered with grease by the time I'd finished. I'll avoid KFC from now on and stick to independant fried chicken shops.

Went in for some dinner, waited 45 minutes from ordering to receiving food. No beans no gravy. Awful. Lots of staff making no noise. Looked like no one new what was going on.

Gave me the wrong food tryed to phone up to solt this out 3 calls latter no reply. They were rude to a point other customers were walking out .... Also the level of knowing what they were doing was off the chart all over the show i wont be back 😏

Lovely staff, new lad on the till (his first day) and the staff were so supportive of him, it was lovely to see. Staff working very hard! Didn’t catch their names but they definitely don’t get enough credit, for the job they do!

The place looked tidy and clean I walked in and was asked what I wanted to order bearing in mind I had just been next door to pizza hut where they were they were completely different in this store friendly staff I asked about what items I could order he took me to the machines helped me out I did my order as a take in so sat in and ate my order was very good plus they have tables and that were clean anx

Got food poisoning from mini strips

Awful service, we had to ask for service because staff were more concerned with the deliveryman. When the food EVENTUALLY arrived it was over cooked. Wouldn't recommend this KFC

All the staff want to deal with is deliveries. Food when we eventually got it was overcooked.

Staff give more attention to the other than they do the customers, no parking available and an awkward place to get to

Machine doesn't print receipts, male on till that day didn't respond to my request (verbally) or acknowledge me, no straws, tissues, wipes or salt in takeaway bag n had to put our own drinks in cup holders.... rather rude I felt...

They prioritise delivery drivers (enough said) they push forward even their order is not ready. I am sorry i came down used my petrol/time and patience, but average wait is 25minutes for small order. Do not use if you are in hurry. Understaffed, one boy is so slow i would take order, cook and pack it all in time he turns around.

Friendly staff and good service..very apologetic and easiy forgivable about not having chocolate biscuits in stock!

I don't know why I went back in... previous visits have been just as ill managed as this ones. Visited at 6.55pm with 3 customer in shop. Only to be told that 1 piece of chicken would take 20 minutes to cook. Not enough cooked up and when asked why? Was told the manager hadn't ordered enough chicken for a chicken shop and they hadn't cooked the last bag up as they were going to run out? Work that one out. No apology from assistant giving me a refund that I'd asked for, poor customer service. Kitchen staff hollering through that there's no chicken! Self service menus playing up and taking monies without receipt. Poorly managed establishment. There was a nice Lad on the tills taking my order at first and he's the only reason I'm giving 1 star, else it would have been no stars if at all possible. Have been in this shop before and if they haven't run out of chicken in a KFC, the card reading machine is broken or something else. Thought I'd give it a try on a Sunday evening... but nope still remains poorly run. I can't comment on the food as I didn't get any.

Tables not clean, bin full to the brim, none of the toilets had any paper. Staff all chatting away at the tills regardless.

ordered a party bucket and didn’t even receive the 14pcs of chicken or the large popcorn chicken, gravy was spilt all over the min fillets, absolute Joke. The delivery guy from Uber eats said he is always having issues 😡

I did order a Zinger meal. After no more than 12 hours I began vomiting explosive type and having a watery stool. I was not able to go to work. For sure the chicken was not good. I remember that I received my Zinger meal in about 1 minute after I paid. Strange! Never ever buying from this place.

This store can never seem to get the order right. Missing food items. Incorrect orders. Often ignore customised orders.

Just visited this KFC and was very disappointed as they had no krushems and also when I got home to dish out dinner with friends we had an incomplete order we a couple of items missing, I will not be going there anytime soon and the service was poor!

All food is ok and was very quickly prepared but was very annoyed to find that we was missing the 4 spicy chicken wings we ordered. One very UNHAPPY customer. Was looking forward to those spicy chicken wings money stolen cannot let it go b******s!

Pathetic portion,fries looked like yesterday’s warmed up . Couldn’t get the items in the quantities we wanted .gravy was the best thing , but that came in a. Egg cup size pot .

Terribly understaffed - only one person on counter to manage tons of customers, was getting abuse from angry customers and had to just put up with it with no support. Drivers take priority leading to these angry customers, order was all wrong too but I can't blame the staff as the stress must have been immense, get them more support.

Waited 25mins for a fillet burger meal, only me and one other being served when I ordered, when I did get my order it was cold because it had been left sat on the hot rack, was missing cheese in burger, and the sides were wrong in general, lunchtime treat disappointment

This place has gone down hill since these delivery company's have taken over. 40 minutes plus wait in store to get home to find cold food that's been on the rack for god knows how long. Missed items every time. They are clearly understaffed and made to keep the deliveries run smoothly ( must be more money made from them ). I would swerve this place and rethink your takeaway if u don't want to be disappointed. Nothing against the floor staff as there just overwhelmed with orders constantly coming through the web and doing there job clearly on minimum wage. Its a small walk in kfc which is now overrun by deliveroo!

After ordering on uber eats and arrived and was wrong went to the store and the staff were all very helpful and understanding. They got there manager George to come out who was very understanding and helpful.

We had a complication from Ubers east end but they helped us out so much and were very understanding. Great customer service!

Cold soggy chips and barely warm flaccid chicken, served by a disinterested boy. I’ll eat most food when I’m hungry but this was just awful. Don’t bother wasting your money!

Easy access Neare to Aldi & staffs are very good. Happy to come back

Place has just had a make over, as usual staffed by people who do not particularly enjoy their work but friendly enough, food is what it is, best time for just out the pan fresh is 5-8 pm

Just come from there,food got better but the chips are still soft and not crispy,now you've got to wait for all the diliveroo people to collect their takeaways for their customers, it's a joke !!

Cant put NO stars!!!! Went in waited 10 minutes, asked if anyone was serving. The lad that worked there said he couldn't at the moment as he was sorting out deliveries, which were obviously more important then all the customers, (some who had waited half an hour for their order.) Left without ordering, went elsewhere. So understaffed it was ridiculous, the order screen was not working probably and there was rubbish everywhere. This store needs attention and more staff urgently!

Worse kfc I have ever had chicken fillet wasn't crispy and looked pale more like a batter and the coleslaw had a horrible taste to it 😫

Had a 20 min wait for our order and it wasn't that busy. No apology for it taking so long.. 2 of buger sat for ten mins on the side while the was being cooked.

Ordered a 10 piece family feast and only got a 6 piece family feast 😡 bloody useless!

Rubbish all over street, and all over floor inside. I made staff aware and send they were busy. Me and one other in there and 3 orders showing on screen. Staff mucking around, calling each other wierd. Bin over flowing behind counter, chicken on floor, no salt in dispenser. When I member of staff half heartedly sweeping whilst listening to earpods. Got home half portion of chips.

The worst service in any restaurant in the U.K. absolutely hopeless. For some reason not linked to the KFC website. You order at a time and when you go to pick it up your told a 20 minute wait even though you ordered 20 minutes earlier so in total 40 minutes. I try to avoid this store but now I will go the Hastings town center which is much more organised.

It's a KFC! it's OK, a little slow, but it's lockdown and everything was cooked fresh, nothing had been hanging around.

Fresh, hot cooked food, we came when it was very quiet so this may have helped.

Luckily, I can simply pop into my local KFC and I'm sure it's clean and featureless, however I hate the menu. Years ago one could just walk in and choose 2/3/4 pieces (or a bucket) and that is what you got! You could add stuff - drinks, coleslaw, whatever. But basically they sold chicken. Now it has to be a meal - I don't want fizzy drinks, chips, reconstituted chicken protein. I hate throwing it all away so the simple thing is don't use them! Bye the way, if you use the App or delivery services then did you realise that cheaper items simply aren't available? It isn't just the delivery charge - you are cynically denied access to the cheaper options.

Very very slow at serving I cannot understand why it can sometimes take 20 mins to get your order, staff depending on whos on can be rude and no communication. quality of food is average sometimes tastes almost rubbery as if over cooked? I'd avoid if you are in a hurry. Town centre KFC is much more efficient on keeping good timing and now with allowing cars to park outside after 4.30 you can easily pick up without the hassle.

wow very bad service and bad customers service having to wait and wait because they are short staff can't deal with the orders in shop because they to busy sorting out on line collection's walk in customers have to stand there waiting won't go there again

Placed an order 2 items missing... no way of contacting KFC directly to get the items sent out as the number just rings and rings, what’s the point In having a phone... ? Plus the number on google doesn’t work had to find the number on a Facebook page... got a refund and then had to place an order again for the missing items which meant paying delivery and service charges again. Thanks KFC wonderful service.... I look forward to your Response...

Its a KFC so all good. 3 stars because like a lot of takeaway establishments now....it seems you wait behind a plethora of delivery services. Not very fast food now 😕

I picked up a KFC for my family for the first time in 2 or so years tonight. It used to be my go-to for fast food. Absolute favourite. But the food tonight was awful. It was a huge let-down. The chicken coating has changed a lot since I last had it last. It was almost bitter and so bland. None of us finished it. This review shouldn't in any way reflect on the staff as they were polite enough, if a little harrassed as it was quite busy. I feel sad for KFC as they were finger licking frickin' amazing once but they need to buck their ideas up as this was one hot (actually pretty luke warm tbh) mess.

Still limited choice of food and not serving hot drinks. Took my Grandson and had to make do. I do not understand the issue with hot drinks. I think if it wasn't in a convenient place then the business would suffer.

Need to spend some money doing the shop up

Never waited so long at a kfc than here - consistently we have given so many chances making excuses for them but it’s every time

This is the second and last time I've attempted to buy food here. The staff seem to be concentrating on delivery orders only at the expense of customers waiting to order! Coupled with lots of chit chat between themselves it's a sad reality this shop isn't working at all anymore.

Asked for a 10 piece hot wings meal, ended up with 4 bits of chicken, it ain't rocket science is it ?

They couldn’t have got the order more wrong, try to avoid this kfc usually because it’s always been bad but came here again, the chips were cold and stale the gravy was like water and didn’t get what we ordered, burgers were meant to be towered but turned up with now tower and no sauce somehow, will never use this one again

Dry chicken and small pieces of chicken, apparently a tiny chicken wing counts as one piece of chicken.

We love KFC but the food from here is terrible, we threw it away, why as a franchise doesn't KFC check on them as it gives the KFC a bad name. Give this one a miss in Ore village, Hastings a miss. CAVEAT EMPTOR

Stood in there for half an hour and didn't get served, people waiting longer than I was, all they seemed to be doing was serving uber eats and just eat drivers and ignoring all the walk in customers, run by kids, no adult with clear leadership there, I walked out in the end as did the people behind me, absolute joke and will never go there again, my advice is avoid.

Me and my family have traveled to this Ore branch 3 times, normaly once a month for a treat, and have nornaly waited 45 minutes each time on average, the delivery drivers get pushed through first yet everyone alse who has botherd to travel, order at the till and collect gets left till last each time which is completely wrong when us, as the traveling customer who is willing to come direct is left till last, they have it the wrong way round. Last time my number wasnt even called out after a 50 minute wait, i had to chase up after my large, exspencive order was sat on the side in a bag getting cold with no option to get it all re-done so it was actully hot like it should of been in the first place. The delivery drivers sit around swearing and being rude, the staff argue and shout and can be heard from the dinning area and my food always end ups cold and stale with lack of items or missing items most of the time. I would be surprised if i ever use kfc again i am totaly disgusted and angry at the service and feel totaly let down and i tried to come back to give a chance and was let down time again. Best just leave this branch enless you order online for delivery, even then your in for a long, long wait. Totaly ruined by deliverys.

40 minutes from ordering at the counter to receiving my food. Substituted 3 items without my consent. Will not be returning as staff were unfazed by everything.

Sat outside and tables need good clean because of covid cleaness but no sign, customers clearing tables with there own anti bac wipes. Food average not well organised with queuing system.

Good service and product is what it says on the tin.
