This hollington store has gone downhill over last few years!...rude dot-com personal shoppers give you dirty looks if you happen to be shopping where they want to shop...if there's a small gap where only one trolley will fit through they're look at you while tapping they're foot and huffing & puffing, they really make you feel uncomfortable! I asked a female dot-com shopper where something was that I couldn't find, and she said "same place as it's always been, isle 4" I couldn't believe her attitude, I was shocked and just walked away. Cars and vans seem to park wherever they want too in the carpark..in family spaces with no family & in disabled spaces when they're not disabled, no staff, security or any other tesco employees do anything about it!....people even park in the pickup and dropoff lay-by and go in to do they're shopping 🤦 We now shop at Asda, where the staff seem to all be polite, courteous and happy to help customers...just like tesco staff are trained to do!

Always a nice store to visit for shopping. Very well layed out. Staff are great

Received a parking fine for a 1hr 50min shop, we spend £400 a week on shopping at this store. This time was late at night when there were hardly any cars in the car park. An absolute disgrace and I am never shopping here again!!

A super large store with a coffee corner. Very large range of household items to foodstuffs.

Went to refuel car early this morning only to find I could only pay at pump. Two members of staff were sitting in kiosk. Talking between themselves. One or two customers had problem following on pump instructions. One went to kiosk only to find door locked. Staff not make any move to help. I saw two others drive away without filling up fed up at pump. Staff lazy or rude could have helped maybe ?!?!

cafe refused allergy request. staff in the cafe told me they couldn't alter dishes from the kitchen in any way to deal with a simple allergy request, and i had to order through the machine that didn't offer customization. just tell the guy to not sprinkle cheese on top? "oi m8 when you make that one. don't put a fried egg in that breakfast muffin". very bad. not allergy friendly at all.

Huge Tesco store with a large collection of stuff you require. Have an instore cafe, pharmacy, Timpsons, etc. A number of car parking bays on the ground floor. Waves car wash and Tesco petrol station available.

cafe refusing to take cash payments,can only order on screens like mcdonalds, disgusting for the elderly that catch buses to do shopping and can't even have a drink because they use cash !!! won't be using in future.

I dropped a jar of jam at the checkout, and the two members of staff who helped me and cleared up the mess (one, I think, was Sarah) were lovely. Couldn’t have been more helpful and friendly. Really appreciated, if possible please pass on my thanks.

Have today received Car Park fine for 1 hr 43 mins. As I soent a lot if extra money on Xmas Decs and Clothes I do not appreciate a find for less than 2 hours parking. I went shopping late (10pm) so it was empty anyway. Maybe the other supermarkets will be more reasonable. hour

Had 6 items on my shopping list. Tesco were out of five of the items. Wasted trip and left for Sainsbury's.

I enjoy a coffee when I go shopping often. However, the nice cafe at the big church in the wood cafe has made big unwelcome changes .. For me....as of Monday 22 Oct 2023 I went in as usual only to find a macdonalds style electronic ordering system in place AND they no longer are taking CASH. This is very disappointing. I refuse to have my choice railroaded by these large corporate businesses, So I did no shopping there and went to Sainsburys for my coffee & shopping. This is NOT a way to go...dehumanising this kind of process ie a coffee shop is detrimental in my view to public relations and that is the last time I'm going to Tescos ...but hey why would they care? I'm just one person, right?

Today I had a delivery from Tescos and with a heart full of thanks for my FREE BAR of Chocolate it brought tears of gratitude 🙏

Please reopen the uper level car park. Its very frustrating to find parent parking full. And disabled spaces fill up quickly. Un like disabled parking, there are no restrictions on parent parking. Meaning anyone will park there. I had someone with no child, say. I have car seats so can park here. people in vans park there. My child is disabled but we dnt hold a blue badge. Your upper level has parent and disabled parking going empty. I appreciate staff want park away from customers, but there is room to devide it up. for staff and disabled and parents. Especially during times like Christmas when it's very busy.

Large amount of parking bays which have plenty of parent/child and disabled parking lead directly to lifts (2) and escalators . Store is very open plan and well lit. Signposts above each aisle make it easy to navigate and aisles themselves are wide and suitable for wheelchair users ( some higher shelves would need assistance but there are always staff at hand to help with that.) Wide range of products both Tesco own and other well known brands. Fresh baked goods and breads are well stocked with a nice variety to choose from. Various means of checkout range from conveyor belt with cashier to scan pack and pay. to self scan( using hand held scanner as you shop instore) and pay options. All allow cash and or card payments. F&F has a wide range of ladies gents and children's wear along with accessories. Unfortunately on my last visit their changing rooms had been dismantled which is a pity as so useful. There are toilets and a really nice cafe with plenty of choice on menu including vegan options.

Great store very big with lots of choices and a clothing area only let down was no footware available which was what I was looking for.

Walked approximately 180 paces to the Pharmacy, collected my prescription, said hello to the staff, turned around and took 190 steps out, different route. I do not mind commenting on a new cafe/bar/hotel but please stop asking me to comment on multinationals.

Shopping fine. Parking run by total crooks. No return within 2 hours. Let's say for example I go shopping and when I get home my wife notices I forgot many items. She then goes to the same car park in the same car on another shopping trip within the 2 hours that I left. Bang goes £70 for being a loyal customer. It's absurd how this is run in an already deprived area.

I wish to make all who use the car park here aware that the people running the car park are a bunch of crooks. My wife was sent a parking charge notice for that vehicle visiting Tescos twice in the same day- one photo at 8:30am and the second 17:40. However, the car was not there in the 9 hour gap they said it was there in, the car was 2 miles away that afternoon getting cleaned in another garage and the rest of the day parked at my WORKPLACE car park a short distance from Tescos on the industrial estate, which my manager has kindly given some CCTV footage of said vehicle arriving and leaving the workplace car park after and before the alleged incident's pictures. I would highly recommend that these cowboys go to specsavers and also visit a brain surgeon to wire up their pieces of grey matter to piece together the evidence I have provided them for our appeal, and to examine the times of day each picture was taken, before someone takes takes them on a trip to the High Court at their eventual expense.

Popped in first thing, the baguette I bought was absolutely not cooked that morning, surprised I didn't notice but when I went to make lunch it was hard as a stone

Went to the cafe this morning 09.02.2023 as we have done many times before. Today the breakfast brought out was a joke. The bacon was like a piece of shoe leather and we had to pay a pound for extra plum tomatoes not knowing that when it came there was one plum tomato on the plate and to add insult to injury, it was cold. Now, I know that in TESCO you can buy a tin of tomatoes for 28 p. This is an outrage. The toast was also cold and had obviously been sitting about. If the queue had not been so big, I would have told them there and then. As you can guess I do not recommend BREAKFAST at Tesco Churchwood drive.

It's a large Tesco superstore that pretty much sells everything you expect from one of these.

Went to return this in-date mouldy nan with the original reciept. Ruined our dinner plans. Spoke to the duty manager and I was offered a refund but no apology or good will gesture for my inconvenience, time and petrol.

Easy and worth in going to this massive supermarket where you get good deals and all food confectionery items clothes bullk items and many more under one roof

I have been going there since it opened and service has certainly gone downhill with the change in management. That said, you can usually find most of what you want or go to Waitrose just down the street!

Delivery cancelled twice in a row with no explanation. Money taken from my account on a Friday so not getting it back until mid to late next week so unable to buy any groceries. Avoid ordering grocery deliveries from Hastings Tesco

Excellent supermarket with a huge selection and friendly helpful staff. The shelves have always been fully stocked or being restocked when I have visited and if I have had to ask any staff a question they have been knowledgeable and helpful. Very competitive prices too.

Popped in for a meal deal and a morning coffee… and the staff are working on the coffee machine again. This is the 4th time I as many weeks. Surely you would clean/stock up at a different time not between 7am-9am.

Just thought I'd mention that I went to your Tesco extra store in St. Leonards to collect a grocery order yesterday. I was in the ground level car park not sure where the click and collect point was when I spotted a trolly collection man (in his 40's probably) I asked him politely where it was and where I should park and OMG he was the grumpiest, ignorant and most hostile person I have met in a long time. HE GROWLED AT ME, GRUNTED, SHOOK HIS HEAD AND "SHOUTED" at me to go upstairs and wouldn't even point me in the right direction. WHAT A VILE MAN. I will not be returning to that store any time soon. What a disgusting representation of the Tesco Brand.

Zoomed in at 11:55pm (i.e. five minutes before closing) to pick up a couple of items. In the less than 5 mins I was in the store, FOUR separate members of staff told me they were closing, none of them particularly politely - came across as impatient to get home. Guys, if you advertise as open til midnight, please don’t harass your customers when it’s still before midnight! Let people know you’re closing by all means, but at least make it sound like you’re trying to help them rather than wanting to get rid of them asap!

This club card pricing is misleading. Often cheaper to buy larger sizes with no promotion on them. The "normal" price is one I've never seen something sell at!

A large shop with parking; close to a bus stop. It has a filling station, instore pharmacy, cafe and toilets. As well as food and fresh veg, one can buy clothes and shoes, toys, flowers and plants, household and kitchenware .There is a fresh fish counter and a butchery counter.

Don’t go to Tesco to by any clothes unless you are willing to take it home and chance it fitting you well because they won’t let you use changing rooms apparently due to covid when it’s all finished with plus when I raised the issue to staff members they started becoming rude and unprofessional hence the one star

Rude unhelpful staff with Managers who walk away from you when you are in the middle of speaking to them.

Super large store, with almost everything you need under the roof. You can meander around for hours if you wish. Well served by buses if you don't drive. Had a tea and bacon bap at the cafe, served quickly, but nothing special.

Lovely shop today and checkout was fab. Thankyou Hayley for being so cheerful.

During the pandemic the ‘click and collect’ service was invaluable. Every week, all orders were correct with the occasional substitution. The staff were always incredibly friendly and helpful. On one occasion our frozen items had not been picked so a member of the team went in store while we waited and collected all our items. We were very grateful and she was incredibly apologetic (these things happen and it’s no big deal!)

A great place to shop in inclement weather as it has a massive car park underneath. Shopping trolleys are easy to come by at the entrance. The store itself is massive, selling everything you can imagine. The aisles are wide and well signposted making it a very pleasant and easy shopping experience. The Tesco Club card offers are well indicated throughout too. I will certainly return.

Have lived near Tesco for decade's and it just gets worse every year, over priced , rude staff then to top it of, they have now stopped couples shopping? Unless your women. Large single parent families, would like to know how two adults living in the same bubble, is worse for covid then families. So went to Sainsbury's where your always treated with respect.

Usually always have a good choice of products and well stocked. The online delivery service is good and the drivers are always polite and helpful. I've ordered twice whilst on lockdown for home delivery and click and collect and both times I've pretty much got all my shopping, minus the few items that are hard to get, or I've had a substitute which was fine. Can't fault them, especially during these times. Well done tesco!

Tesco is not fit for purposed, Why you managers closed the store down You are out of loo rolls are you all storing them you all should be ashamed.

Very large store. Extensive homeware section in addition to the general groceries. Store has self scan checkouts and scan as you go handsets. Gets very busy but there are plenty of parking spaces with the underground car parking plus additional spaces on the upper floor beside the store entrance.

Racist? Unhelpful Staff. While one staff member raised their voice to me when I asked where something was another told me to 'Look Online'to see if the 25% off 6 bottles offer was on. Meanwhile at the till a member of staff (English not her first language) is being berated for not understanding how to ask for time off in an obsiquiously, 'Please miss may I swap my shift'? Way. I felt awkward as the manager called more and more people over to make herself feel better. Great shop though and who am I to let a bit of institutionalised bullying/racism get in the way. So 3 stars.

I haven’t been here for a couple of years after popping in with a friend and receiving 2 undrinkable coffees... advertised as Costa, but NOT fresh ground coffee like Costa.... But my daughter visited for the day and fancied the ‘Red Bus’ 1066 double decker cafe, which we were told was closed, so we went to Tesco cafe for breakfast.... never again, the few good reviews must have had different staff or they have no taste buds is all I can say.... I ordered standard English breakfast and my daughter poached eggs on toast, we both had a pot of tea.... Tea was bought to our table and I noticed a coffee froth ring in my cup, so asked the young man serving for a replacement cup, he sort of grunted yeah and was gone before we realised the second cup was also dirty, he returned briefly and dumped a cup and shot off again... So we went to the counter with the cups to ask lady for clean ones, she told me they were clean and it was stains, so I wiped my thumb across said stain to show it was dirty... her colleague picked a couple off shelf and said they’re all the same.... I felt like they expected us to say ok 🤷🏻‍♀️ But persevered for clean cups.... obviously other customers waiting heard all this and weren’t amused.... Then the food came, clean cutlery difficult to find 😤 half a plate of lukewarm beans with a fried egg slopped on top, over cooked bacon (I like it crispy) it was like it had been cooked 2 hours earlier and left on a warmer, sausage ok, tomato half raw, but had obviously been shown a hotplate briefly and cold toast... My daughters poached eggs were completely overcooked, so dry, so she took it back and asked for it to be replaced with fried eggs as my egg looked ok, staff obviously felt disgruntled and replaced her food with undercooked fried eggs, all the white was still runny... My daughter was dismayed 😩 I mean why employ people to make cooked breakfasts when they obviously can’t even manage such basic cooking?? It’s cold and flu season.... dirty cups and cutlery spread germs... Feel free to try this cafe, but I won’t be back!

No trolleys, no black tights in large. Cash point not working and when I asked for cash back at till, disinterested cashier told me that I couldn't have any cashback as she hadn't got any cash in the till. Asked if she could ask a manager to get some for her till, she said no. I had to queue up at the tobacco kiosk and pay for a paper I didn't want to get cash. Perhaps your staff should have signs for their tills when they are unable to give cash back so customers can use a different till. Won't be shopping at this store any time soon.

Been 2 days on the trot, both days queues at checkout were appalling. Highlight was seeing reduced loaf of bread 5 days out of date still there on the following day. Does this shop employ management. Retail is detail dummies.

My husband and I had the breakfast, very tasty. Fast service and very friendly. We will probably come back another time.

First time here, having spent the day at the beach, my husband wanted to check out the clothes section. Almost immediately I spotted the Security Guard looking at me for some reason. Never had that situation in any other store before. I then went over to the home ware area, where I was almost by myself, when I spotted the Security Guard follow me over and appeared to hide at the end of the isle, I guess in the hope to catch me in the act! When my husband came to join me, I told him the Security Guard was just round the corner watching me, so we went and stood right next to him and talked openly that I believed he suspected me of potentially shop lifting. The guard said nothing, but didn't move and tried to pretend we were not even standing next to him. Anyway, this experience was unbelievable. I appreciate I was dressed a bit relaxed, but I am an honest and outstanding member of society and I take offence at being followed around the store and spied on. Apart from that the store looked lovely, and because of that I'd never use this or any other Tesco again.

The click and collect works well, but honestly you would get better customer service from a machine than from the miserable people you employ that work here. The sooner you replace the staff here with a robots the better.

It's a supermarket - but very large with a huge range of products and plenty of parking, much of which is under cover Used for supplies while on holiday in the area and found everything we needed. Clean and tidy store, plenty of check-outs in operation and no queuing. During our visit, it also had the lowest priced diesel in the area.

We usually come here most days and order, me and my other half. The young staff there are super kind and helpful. Except this time. Lady with brown ponytail hair not only got our order wrong and didn’t give us take away cups but after being told we didn’t order a bloomer she huffed, rolled her eyes and left. Afterwards she came back proceeded to argue with my anxious girlfriend and tell her she ordered a bloomer when the word didn’t come out her mouth. This ended with an abrupt “right” and storm off. Uncomfortable as my other half is already a quiet shy person sitting in an environment where we didn’t feel welcome. Food was good, service from the miserable woman who refused to be wrong was disgusting. Real let down as frequent customers. Cheers

Veggie breakfast did not have veggie sausages. Returned and got refund. Awful service as well.

Veggie breakfast had normal sausages on it. Staff said they were veggie but they were not. Got refund. If you are vegetarian do not go there.

The coffee is always good here and they bring it to your table. Would be good if coffees were served on a saucer though. Nowhere to charge up laptops or phones. Hot food was disappointing as no obvious gluten free options and presentation of food weak - salad with jacket potato was limp and no dressing. Could have had more filling. Avocado and tomato on toast with mushroom - needed to be improved for presentation, it was edible and basic but just lacks the care as to how the dish looks. Staff are friendly and helpful. Good offer of gluten free cake bars and a scone but need some savoury gluten free food offered. Great free parking and it is convenient. Would go back for coffee!

First time eaten here since 2016 wasn’t good then but since change has managed to go further down hill.Wife and I popped in Sunday morning decided to try breakfast what a disaster both meals delivered freezing cold toast and fried bread on separate plate.Main meals eventually replaced by then toast etc freezing cold returned them hot toast came no fried bread by then had enough ate meal then left.I have to say front of house staff very pleasant but just going through motions is the impression I concluded.Will certainly not rush back.
