If you’re doing the Chorleywood to Chesham; and can wait it out for food, place is well worth it. Foods very good, lasagna is solid, decent prices as well! Thanks for having us

After seeing a recent Facebook notification that the Mangal was able to do gluten free fish and chips (as well as kebabs) the wife and I decided to give it a try as there’s a real struggle for decent fish and chips locally which are available as gluten free. We normally have to wait till we’re down the coast which is a shame. This is my first experience of the mangal and can safely say it won’t be my last, the staff were friendly and helpful explaining everyone to us, restaurant was exceptionally clean and from the look of the uncooked food in the fridge very well prepared and separated. Everything is made fresh for you when ordering gluten free and it tasted absolutely fantastic! The only downside is that I’m going to have to go on lots more runs to accommodate the extra visits the mangal is going to be receiving! Highly recommended

Lovely warm welcoming tap room with a good range of beers, an easy going atmosphere with lots of nice low level chat. Beers had a couple of lagers, mostly pales, and a stout and a sour.

If you like supporting independent venues, if you enjoy listening to wonderfully-talented musicians in an intimate space, if you like freshly prepared good value food and expertly-mixed cocktails served up by friendly staff, this is the place for you. The Drawing Room is tucked away in a cobbled courtyard just off Chesham high street but in a league of its own , beckoning you to come closer with its strings of fairy lights and chimenea, old wooden beams and crooked floors. It's a magical place, a great little café by day, but on Friday and Saturday evenings, it's also a very special live music venue with very high standards - we've never seen a bad act here. It's a unique place that welcomes everyone and the vibe is contagious; you'll forget about your troubles for an hour or two and leave with a renewed sense that all is ok with the world after all. And if you don't fancy live music there's comedy night too.

We had an absolutely terrible experience at this restaurant and I strongly advise others to avoid it. We ordered a mix of Indian curries and Indo-Chinese dishes, and not only was the food bland and oily, but it also seemed far from fresh. To make matters worse, both of my kids fell sick with a tummy bug after eating here. They were up all night with stomach cramps and nausea, which completely ruined our evening. The curries were greasy and flavourless, lacking any authentic spice or depth, while the Indo-Chinese dishes tasted like they had been reheated multiple times. The food quality was so poor that we barely managed to finish our meal. I would never recommend this place to anyone, especially families. The lack of hygiene and subpar food standards are alarming. Please do yourself a favour and stay far away from this restaurant – it’s simply not worth the risk.
