Mangal Express Chalfont in Chiltern

Wow! This is a find. Just ordered lamb shush, chicken Shiah wrap and falafel and babaganush. Absolutely delicious, fresh and good quality. Chilli and garlic sauces are really good and it’s clear this is home made by Turkish chefs - it’s better than I’ve had in Ankara/Istanbul. Lovely guys working there too. 100% recommended and I’ll be back

Lovely food a nice change to pub food and cooked for you and on your plate and served Not too spicy but it's there if you want it ...not licensed but you can bring your own but soft drinks buy there a big thumbs up from me ...remember to book as its small and will avoid Disappointment.

A doner and kebab restaurant in England. While we were visiting from Turkey, we decided to eat doner kebab. We ate the döner kebab, which we missed, with a taste beyond our expectations. The portion was ample and satisfying enough. Hummus was delicious. It looked good on kebabs. Children have experienced this before. This time we went together. Service, attention, cleanliness and taste, everything was very good, we liked it. You will definitely be satisfied. Our fellow countryman from Trabzon was on leave and we couldn't meet him, hopefully when we come on another holiday.

We were looking for a place to eat and as we are new to this area, just visiting, so we didn’t knew what to expect. But ow my! So far it’s one of the best meals we had ! Staff and as super nice as well, place is extremely nice and food was fresh! I love how well food was cooked and guys recommendation matched my cravings ! Thank you !

Recently moved to the area and tried Mangal a few times, nothing but delicious takeaways. Some errors in order, but dealt with kindly and apologetically. Great service. Halloumi delish!! Salads delish! Mixed grill - particularly the Lamb, chefs kiss!! MWAH!

I came here for brunch today with a friend who has been coming here for years,and his recommendation was fabulous. We had Hummus Mezze and Cacik with fresh Pita bread for starters, followed by a chicken beyti wrap and large chicken beyti grill. My wrap was fantastic, cooked fresh and packed with herbs and seasoning. The chilli dip was spicy just like I prefer. The staff was welcoming and friendly. We were served fast and professional. Highly recommended.

First time eating here and it was all so good. The staff are awesome! We were advised to order a family meal for 2 instead of single meals which was the same price, so I don’t know what people are on about with the portions being small. Everything was fresh and the meat is full of flavour, perfectly cooked and great quality. Look forward to eating in next time. Well done guys.

Our first choice for Turkish food in the area. Very delicious kebabs, kids' favourite chicken wings and nuggets. Yesterday I was WOWed by the staff member remembering our preferences, that was truly impressive. We'll definitely enjoy the food and service there again

Amazing food. The Donna kebab us to die for. Not your usual kebab shop Donna. Properly seasoned lamb prepared fresh. Mixed grill is a great sized portion for the price. Amazing.

I’ve get a wrap, staff asked me if I want it large so I agreed even tho can’t see large wrap on the menu 3.5£ extra it’s ok , but it comes with single wrap not double and to be honest only thing what was large was salad inside , no extra meet etc disappointing… I’m not rabbit come on

The best Kebabs for miles around! Great service, friendly staff and the food is amazing! Go check it out proper Kebabs cooked over charcoal grill- healthy, tasty and delicious. Staff are so attentive and kind to our children too when we eat in!

Food is lovely and the guys in there are very nice and hospitable. Please be aware that you cannot have the rice if you are celiac though as it is bulger wheat.

Extremely Authentic Turkish food!!! The way you can tell great kebab house is when you see Turkish people eating in there... today I telephoned and asked them for an off the menu item. In London Halep Kebab is common at all great Turkish restaurants!!! It is not on their menu! But it’s an awesome dish!!!!! They said they would cook it for me regardless!! 20 minutes later & wallah! It was so beautiful.. not had it in years as it’s not available outside London for some reason... Until now!! Great Chef! Great owner! Great staff!! A friend of mine visited from Northumberland & we ate in( pre Covid) & he said “That’s the best kebab Iv had in my life!” True story..

Tasty hot pipping food but tiny portions for the price they charge. No complimentary hummus anymore. I saw new serving staff may be change in management.

Visited recently having newly moved to the area. Staff were lovely and took my order promptly, I forgot to ask for hummus at point of ordering and when I asked later they gave me the hummus for free. The food was lovely, piping hot and full of flavour. Recommended!

They are working the bulgur, I saw the inside, I was sick to my stomach, we couldn't eat the food full of disgusting filth, throw it in the trash, never again, very dirty kitchen

Shish kebabs: Food is nice and tender - which is very important! But portions are tiny! Unfortunately that's the reason I left 4 starts + plastic should be removed (plastic cutlery). Prices are too high for portion sizes! Thank you

Absolutely wonderful Turkish food. We ate outside and thought it was one of the best casual meals we've had - super tasty, huge portions, feels really healthy - and the service was wonderful and made us all smile.

The best in the area the place is beyond clean not just the seating area the kitchen is spotless, the food is better than amazing it’s so tasteful and good quality food! You actually feel good after eating from here and the service is top tier all the staff are so friendly and actually remember you! also a little tip if you sit in and eat your portion is waaaay bigger! They are so generous I love this place definitely recommend! The price is unbelievable for the food you get!

Not sure about food for it’s regular as my favourite it’s the Rickmansworth and never had nothing to complain about.Cleaning 6* more then perfect. My food was very oily and my experience give me the knowledge why. So for this not very happy and to give u a guess I had doner chiken kebab in a plate 🤔

Worst experience with a man from staff! I just ask him to put everything separate from my order…he start argue with no reason I ask him if is everything ok with him or he just have a bad day and he replies to me do not talk like that with him…anyway I inform him I can leave any time and he continues with that bad attitude and I left! Maybe is time for him to take a break… Shame because food is not so bad! For me was last time when I step inside! Good luck!

Good news, the meat was good quality, end of good news.

They always get my order wrong. I've been here three times and ordered my favourite thing, taramasalata, pitta bread and salad. They never remember to put in the salad. Last time the tarama tasted nasty and the pitta bread was burnt. Low standards, this place, don't recommend it.

its been 4 years since ive lived here and i still miss these kebabs!

Bought a platter to eat in as it advertised as a restaurant but near to no service and no ribs or wings included and paid £55 basically for few koftes/ chicken prices and chips/rice! Would be good if they had a high chair but seems it is more of a takeaway. A piece or two of the chicken was raw too but no one even bothered to ask if everything was okay so hard to even get anyone's attention. Ashame as the food we did have was tasty!

First time dining here loved the food, so fresh and authentic, portions were nice and generous too. Staff so welcoming and friendly which makes us want to return again next time. Thank you all for the good food and a great evening!
