Absolutely delicious would high recommend

One of the best pizza places I know outside of London, and I get around. It's well made, Neapolitan pizza but with a much more liberal choice of toppings. You can get pineapple if you must... I'm amazed more people don't order from them. Top stuff.

An early Father's Day treat for me. A pleasant experience. We both started with Arancini, followed by Penne al Salmone plus a pizza 🍕, all served at a reasonable pace.

We (a family of four) went here for dinner on Saturday evening. The food was delicious and the service amazing!

Appalling. Order says delivered, nothing turned up. No help from restaurant who say it’s not anything they can help with and no one to speak to at Just Eat. Money down the drain.

Great little Italian ,and that's just the owner Luigi. Authentic Italian food. Pizza's are as good as you'd get anywhere in the world . Great value. Highly recommended, we eat there every 2nd Tuesday after table tennis.

Amazing service and authentic food, would come back

Food was insanely amazing. Waitress was beyond lovely and the kindest host I’ve ever come across. My sister even received a birthday song and desert for her 17th birthday. They also were very accommodating for my lactose intolerance.

Half of the pizza topping had slid off in transit. All of the cheese stuck to the box on one side. Not a great experience. Very disappointing. The pizza was buried at the bottom of the delivery satchel under 5 other pizzas. Shame as we usually love pizza Liri.

I walked in to the restaurant to enquire and the rude woman just shook her head and said no, that they are fully booked. I just wanted ask if they did takeaways but I was rushed out. Maybe because I’m brown? I certainly felt like it. *the restaurant has only acknowledged this 2 months after I wrote it, if weren’t there, you cannot tell someone who’s felt racially profiled that the comment is of no substance, everyone at the table was white, I was not even greeted properly or respectfully.

An extremely good pizza and food in general. Great atmosphere and service. I am Italian and to find a pizza of this quality in England isn't easy.

Food was OK, not up to usual quality, felt a bit overpriced for what we got and not very filling. I appreciate it's sourdough and traditionally made, however £30 for two pizzas that left us still feeling hungry is not something I'll be doing again.

Staff and location very warm, customer service 10/10, I have ordered a pizza quite particular and "Luigi" sorted out our request in 0 minutes, then we got a wonderful dinner, quality food worth all the money, and we enjoyed every moment,. feeling like at home. 100% suggested Thank you!!!

Probably the best Italian food around, not just in town. Fresh ingredients, freshly cooked, best pasta, best sour dough pizza. Always a Friendly welcome. Please eat here! Yummy!

perfect authentic Italian food and atmosphere

Unfortunately the pizza toppings were on the side of the box! Poor delivery I think. Luckily (after reassembling the topping) the pizza was delicious. I’ll go in to try next time.

Really lovely pizzas and great service. There was a bit of miss communication between us resulting in a pizza being wrong which they sorted out very quickly and even gave us a complementary bottle of wine for the mix up, which was very nice of them. We will definitely be back!

My partner and I regularly visit and are never anything other than amazed by the quality of food, service and price. The pizzas are freshly prepared and cooked and are the best in the area. Highly recommend as a little, friendly and authentic pizzeria.

Absolutely delicious. We weren’t going to do anything for Valentine’s Day, but smelling the pizza as we walked past, couldn’t resist, and were pleasantly surprised to be able to pick up an order. Food absolutely delicious, service marvellous (as always) and thank you for making our Valentine’s special!

Really small place on the high street, I would suggest booking ahead. But wow such nice pasta. Seriously I am going to get so fat now that I know this place exists. The ice cream was also like super nice, I had strawberry and could tell they used actual strawberries for flavouring rather than packing it with flavouring syrups. Service was good too, a young lady served the entire place on her own - well done!

I think the food here is really special. It's made with love and it shows. Brilliant service with outstanding quality of food. This is the best place to eat in Chesham. Outstanding. Highly, highly recommend. Server made a garlic sauce from scratch just because I asked. Special. Don't miss out!

Delicious, friendly & authentic. I love this place- the owner Luigi makes amazing, authentic Italian dishes. Generous helpings of pasta and delicious pizzas with Luigi’s own home made sourdough. Recently, I tried the homemade tiramisu- so yummy! Great for families, friends or even business. This cosy, friendly restaurant will not let you down.

Wonderful home made pizza 🍕. By far the best in the area. Very friendly staff and great value 👏.

Sadly, it took well over an hour for our food to be served and we missed the start of our theatre performance. Staff were apologetic and gave us some money off in compensation. Massive shame as the food was absolutely amazing and the restaurant looked the part. Just a shame we had to rush it instead of taking our time to enjoy it.

Really good. We have ordered take out from Liri several times, but eating the pizza straight from the oven is even better. A great family run pizzeria.

The best sourdough pizza you will ever try even glutenfree pizza is amazing and all home made , having said that all the food is amazing you want be disappointed.

I popped in for the first time last night and ordered a pizza to take away. I had a lovely friendly greeting and the pizza was very tasty. My only complaint was the tomato sauce on the pizza went all the way to the edge but the rest of the topping was about 5 to 6cm from the edge. I will give them another try though as they were so friendly. Thank you for inviting me back to give your pizza another go. As before I had a lovely welcome and I was very pleased with my pizza. I will be back to try some more of your food. X

We ordered two pizzas yesterday evening by phone (6pm, Wed 12 May '21): scamorza e cotto and buffalina, to be picked up about 8.30. On arrival Luigi had just started on them and continued to create two delicious, large and generously-filled sourdough pizze, which we took home and enjoyed with a bottle of Piandelprete. Pizzeria Liri is an asset to Chesham and we hope it will be so for many years to come.

I went to have dinner few times lately already in Luigi’s restaurant. It is AMAZING. The food quality quite high. He and Mandy are really nice and friendly. You feel the family atmosphere in this Italian restaurant. It’s most likely the best Italian restaurant in Chesham. Go for it. You won’t regret it. I recommend and I’ll come back very soon and often here. Can’t wait for next time! Pizza, lasagnas, tiramisu, bruschetta... I can’t name them all. Everything is SO goood!

Cute, snug and lively pizza/Italian in Chesham. Staff are always happy, the music...is fun and eclectic and the food is great! They even do a vegan pizza which is spot on.

Food was good but one of the worst services I've experienced: - Waiter brought our mains before asking if we had finished our starter. - Was offered another drink but didn't receive it until I asked again 10 minutes later. - Wasnt offered dessert which we would have wanted. - Had to take it upon myself to go to the till and pay as we weren't offered the bill. Also had to confirm what we had as he "didn't write it down". - Wasn't given any water when we asked for it. - Other patrons had to wave down the staff to order as they all seemed to be either out the front having a drink or chatting in the kitchen. The place was empty so have no excuse about the poor customer service.

Wonderful sourdough based pizzas and great pasta too. Nice little place with a bit of outdoor seating too. Will definitely return!

Best pizza restaurant in the area. The pizzas are of excellent quality. The sourdough they use as a base is flavoursome and crisps wonderfully. Toppings are varied and delicious. The staff are friendly and welcoming. The owner is actively engaged and very friendly. A great spot for lunch as the service is pretty fast.

Well what a gem. Too many restaurants think they can make pizza. These Italians really can. Base made with 48 hour fermentation dough and fresh and delicious toppings. All served with a real Italian charm. Will definitely go back.

I Don't eat pizzas (dislike melted cheese) but there are other things to eat that are very good.

Ordered chicken escalope in a pannini, got what looked like left over chunks from a roast in a white sandwhich. Even worse was the fact Luigi couldn't have been less interested when I complained.

An authentic corner of Italy in Chesham. The place offers a nice selection of wonderful tasting Italia food... Handmade pizza, pasta, bruschetta and many side dishes at an honest price. Luigi is a friendly and available host that care about the need of all its customers.

Taste was excellent- but we waited 40min for English breakfast and pizza- even we were the only ones in the place upon arrival. Ate too fast as we end up being in the rush after spending 1hr for quick lunch.. Milkshakes for kids were also ordered - but arrived in 40min and one of the kids didn’t get theirs as customer that had just arrived took it. I pointed that out but the waitress was saying just a minute - I cancelled that milkshake. Too bad - experience ruined by slow and unprofessional service!!!
