The best restaurants serving Default food in Chiltern South East

Quite possibly the worst sandwiches we have ever had! No care taken what so ever to make them. Ridiculous amount of butter and slabs of cheap ham. Ham salad was just salad cream! Awful

We held my Mum's 'Celebration of Life' at the Plough yesterday and thanks to Paola and Raphael it was more of a lovely party, which is exactly what Mum would have loved. I had told Paola that Mums favourite flowers were pink and they had put lots of lovely vases of fabulous arrangements around the pub, and not just a handful of Tuilips, but great vases of roses and all sorts. We also asked them to offer 'Bellini's' to people on arrival which they did and the wine was delicious as was all the food. The staff were friendly but professional and the chefs worked hard. A sad day was made bearable thanks to these guys and the setting was perfect for our 50 or so guests who sat in the comfortable chairs or mingled around the table and chairs. I would thoroughly recommend The Plough for any occassion. Thanks again to them all.

Burger Box never disappoints! Their burgers are juicy, flavorful, and always made fresh to order. The buns are perfectly toasted, and the toppings are high-quality and generous. I especially love their signature sauce—it adds the perfect touch to every bite

A great place to chill with a carefully-crafted coffee in a very informal, relaxed atmosphere. DOG FRIENDLY! They LOVE having your furries come along, and will probably make a fuss of the pup (pro tip: ask for a puppachino) and have a chat with you about your fur-baby. Good food, too! I especially recommend the breakfast wrap!

I live in Old Amersham and had a friend staying. We just wanted a light lunch and cold drink as it was very hot. The staff were very welcoming and gave us excellent service. Highly recommended.

Had takeaway from the vegetarian menu: mock duck pancakes and the mock chicken with a spicy garlicy sauce. 10/10!!! It was so meat-like and the flavours were great. Also prepared really quickly

Turned up to watch the Olympics skateboarding, the TV wasn't on but the landlady was very accommodating by putting it on and leaving the remote for me to adjust volume or change channel if I wished My pint of hawkstone lager was served cool and crisp Highly recommend 👌

We stayed two nights and whilst the hotel arrangement was OK, the restaurant food and service were excellent. I had the tikka masala two nights running as it was the best I've ever had. My wife enjoyed her meals too and our child loved the kids food which was not simply microwaved, but looked like it was properly kitchen prepared which made a lovely change. Overall prices were acceptable. We would return for dinner here without a doubt.

Chung Ying House is absolutely fantastic! The food is incredibly delicious, freshly prepared, and full of authentic flavors. Ordering online and picking it up from the store was super convenient and hassle-free. Highly recommend.

Restraunt refused to give me my free item on just eat. They wouldn’t listen and were rude. Do not order from them ever!!!!!
