Put no coleslaw on website because I’m allergic and then also called just to say to them and they still sent it out with coleslaw just no care from staff

Wish I could give 0 stars, they were open and accepting orders on deliveroo, 2 hours later with no delivery a multiple calls and messages no response. I then went on their direct ordering site and turns out they are closed for Eid. I have no issue with them being closed for Eid I genuinely hope they had a wonderful time celebrating. The issue I have is accepting orders and payment for something you are not going to get. Terrible service 0/5

AVOID! From when I got a notification saying "food on way", it took 35 minutes to get here (I'm only a 10-15 minute drive away). Unfortunately it wasn't even worth the wait. The food was stone cold and inedible. There were hardly any onions or sauce in it and the burger was like rubber, tasteless and very dry. I've had to throw it away. I am still starving and just lost pretty much 20 quid for the privilege. I will not order from here again. So disappointed.

They made my food wrong said they would give a replacement never got it then asked for a refund and they are refusing to give it. Stay well away from these guys for your own good.

Food was late and cold which was disappointing and the burger was missing a key element (not the burger thankfully) It was also very wet and sloppy and not enjoyable to eat and the chips were rubbery as they were cold! Have previously eaten from there with no issues but after the order today unfortunately we will not be ordering again

The driver was a nice guy, really polite, handed food on time.

Burgers good as usual but the skin on fries were cold. So couldn’t eat them. Disappointing as good from here normally great.

Love the food on the whole but standards have significantly slipped over last year. Ordered 2 adult and 2 kid meals which had an expected delivery time of 75mins (ridiculous in itself but at least I’ve been warned). After 90mins, still no show. Rang them up and told they only had 1 driver - a shame, but not the fault of the customer and no communication made otherwise. After being told the order was just then being sent out, another 15mins elapsed before it arrived, incomplete of the kids drinks. The shop is a 5min walk from my house so all in all, I’m not impressed with the level of service BB has reduced down to, leaving families in the lurch for 1hr 45mins in total, and then getting the order wrong. I’d rather drive in and use Brim Burgers for a while.

Delivery driver never follows the instructions on the note to come to front door and then proceeds to get annoyed when they call and ask them to come to the front door not the gate as I can’t hear them when they knock on the gate

45 minutes late so food was cold, would have been tasty if a little warmer

Very clean, they cook the food infront of you. Kind staff that are polite and most of all brilliant quality standard of food on the menu.

Very good food, no plastic wrapping too. Quick delivery. Would recommend, 1 point taken off because previous time they didn’t deliver our food and said they had delivered it to someone else, but they did refund us. Was annoying though as waited 2 hours before they said it wasn’t going to come.

Took my grandson and his friend. They both loved the burgers and chips. It's really nice for them to have burgers that are freshly cook.

Brim Chesham is just what we needed, great tasting freshly cooked burgers, made for a really special family take-away treat.

Excellent burger joint.. Smashed cheeseburger which comes with 2x smashed patties was tasty and flavourful with all the sauces. Young chap with cap at front was polite and helpful. £11 for smashed cheeseburger, chips and can of drink. 10/10.

Lovely food and great service!! Our burgers were fresh and delicious. We noticed that something was missing from our order so gave them a call, the guy on the phone was professional and couldn't do enough to fix the issue including having the missing items delivered to us at home with no extra charge. I thought I would give this place a try and ordered a cheese burger and a burger with a fried egg in along with some other bits and pieces as well as some cheesy fries. All three items were average and poor value for money - £23.90. Will not use again sadly.

We had a great meal from here. We walked in on a Friday night and had to wait an hour for two burgers and a box but it was ok because they gave us free cans of drink to say sorry and were clearly very busy. Everyone else had called ahead I think. They are very friendly and accommodating with requests. We ordered a “cheeseburger box” with a hot dog instead of the burger - this made my Colombian partner very happy because it was similar to salchipapa. They even asked how big to cut the hot dog pieces. Great service!

Vegetarians - PLEASE AVOID THIS PLACE!! Recently I ordered a Veg burger. No doubt that is tasteful. Luckily, I ordered at the counter (not over the phone or app) and was waiting to collect in store. I see that he would fry veg burgers and chicken burgers together.. SHOCKED When asking him what's going on there.. he has no explanations and he would put the same veg tikki in the next oil pan. As I refused to take that he got another one but I would never trust them ever again for ordering any Veg food. A Halumi burger was also being prepared on the same grill with chicken and meat using the same utensils to flip the sides at the same time.. IF YOU ARE VEGETARIAN, I STRONGLY SUGGEST YOU TO AVOID THIS PLACE. Ordering online/phone/app for delivery, god knows what and how they will Cook and serve.

Over priced and burger is so small in size. No sides no drinks. Extremely disappointed.

I have been a vegetarian for over 5 years, I have never tried burger box before & ordered the sweet halloumi wrap. After it had arrived, I started to eat the wrap, I ate three bites before realising something wasn’t right. The wrap was CHICKEN not halloumi. This is completely unacceptable. Burger box should be extremely thankful that I am not allergic. Though the man on the phone did everything he could by offering a full refund and for the correct wrap to be sent to my address. It did not make up for how awful I felt, after eating something I haven’t eaten for 5 years!! I felt both physically and emotionally disgusting. I had to make myself sick. I will never return to burger box and will never recommend it to anyone. This should never ever happen to anyone.

Just want to know how an £8.50 burger is so much smaller than a £7.00 burger? To be honest the £8.50 burger was smaller than a big mac. This is laughable. Definitley wont be ordering from Burger Box again.

The onion rings were a big disappointment. They were made from frozen, they were mushy and tasteless. Burgers were average. Felt a bit overpriced.

Fab! Ordered from here for the first time last night, delivery came early which was fine. The chicken burger and chips tasted great. Also had a vanilla milkshake which was lovely. Highly recommend!

Ordered, took 1 and a half hours to get to me- it was lukewarm/borderline cold and my burger was DROWNING in sauce so it slipped out your hands. To top if off, I then was eating and pulled someones grey hair out of my burger. Would not reccomend at all.

Ordered online direct with Burger Box in Chesham for delivery. Chose a delivery time of 5:30-5:45pm. By 6pm nothing had arrived so I called them, only to be told it had just been bagged up and they were waiting for their delivery driver to return. At 6:20pm it arrived, with an apology from the driver for being late. Needless to say the skin-on-fries were luke warm, as were the burgers. First and last time we'll order from here, very disappointing.

We had a fairly large and complicated order which was all present and correct when delivered 20 minutes earlier than the over-an-hour waiting time by a very friendly driver. The chips were the best we've ever had delivered from anywhere! There is a great choice of burgers to suit all tastes and loads of extras that are all really good (the coleslaw especially). Will be ordering again and thoroughly recommend :)

Heard about this place on "Ben's Kitchen Disco" on Chiltern Voice Radio so when we decided on an impromptu takeaway the other night with friends we thought we would give it a try. I chose to go down to collect the food and the staff were lovely. Verdict all round was that the food was delicious. Will definitely be returning.

A Goujon box and a Texan dog, both of them delicious, well cooked, hot and on time. Big recommendation for The Burger Box. Cheers, Preston.

My first visit to the burger box, I ordered at the takeaway I thought it would be nice to see the place. It was a little takeaway but had the most busiest amounts of orders going on so I thought this must be good. The staff on the counter were very nice, and they were very helpful to there customers. Anyway got home to find the burgers wrapped very nicely, not like the nasty macdonalds wrapping and the fries were very crisp and delicious my elderly parents shared a burger as they cannot eat like us younger ones, they both enjoyed it to. So 10 out ot 10 for a fantastic all round service you provide as a reputable company, keep going with what you do and don't worry about some of the negative reviews people give as you will not please everyone in life, but belive I'm a big foodie and this comes out on top. Again thankyou. Karen

Ordered a combo burger - paid extra for nachos in the burger and the burger came with no nachos. Asked for extra lettuce and had a tiny sprinkle of soggy lettuce that was old. The burger patties did not taste pleasent and were not up to a standard that I would have spent £8 on a burger on. The combo burger as an £7.50 burger (£8 with the nachos) that left me hungry. Rang to let them know that I wasn't satisfied with the food and they argued with me down the phone. Wont be coming back.

By far the best burger in or around Chesham. Excellent quality ingredients, perfectly cooked, great menu. Staff are lovely and enthusiastic.

The food arrived 10 minutes earlier than estimated arrival time and tasted ok but it did not wow us considering the price. The food was cold and buns were soggy (shocking considering we live 5 minutes drive from them) we had to reheat the fries as they were cold and inedible on arrival. The burger patty was very dense and dry, on top of that I have found several pieces of unminced veiny beef in one of them. Highly unlikely we will be ordering from there again.

Can't get enough of this place! All of the food they make is the best. I think iv tried almost everything off the menu and its all spot on! All staff are pleasant and polite aswell. Keep up the good work guys

Food was great. Everything packaged perfectly to protect integrity of the food. Delivered more quickly than the time stated. Ordered through just eat but had to phone for a special request, they were very accommodating and even informed me that it would be cheaper to order directly next time. Great service and great food

Tried for the first time last night, sadly disappointing. The coleslaw had hair floating in it and the chicken burger was squashed and overcooked. Much of the food we ordered didn't seem fresh. Won't be going back based on our first experience.

So then why oh why do they let an old grumpy man who makes you repeat your card number again & again & when you ask to speak to someone else he bans you! Just ordered a delivery which arrived missing a couple of items. Rang to report it and told they were on their way. Finished our meal and still no items so my husband rang again. This time he was told the items had been delivered. He had to argue his way through to a refund (which he demanded, it was not offered). Shortly after this they rang us to say we could either have a bank transfer and wait up to 5 days or they could send the cash round, so we opted for cash (we are just down the road). Then a delivery man turned up and started calling my husband a liar in the street! Absolutely shocking experience, would definitely not recommend!!

I wanted to wait some time and test out burger box's different meals before writing a review. All I can say is that their meals are impeccable, chips are always crispy and the burger is always on point. For the price point your getting something worth 10x more!

Had heard great things about their burgers, so we tried it out with delivery to our home. Sadly the delivery was about 20 mins late, after 10 mins I called to find out where it was (we'd order via Just Eat) and was told yep be with you soon, and 10 mins later it arrived, I imagine the delivery driver was waiting for a few orders to deliver at the same time. The food arrived piping hot! We had one burger each and chose the skin on fries and a portion of the sweet potato fries, v large portion, next time we'll just order one and share. I put a special note on the order notes and they followed it - so I am happy! The burgers are delicious! We we certainly be ordering again, maybe trying the onion rings which have been mentioned in another review.

I ordered from here for the first time tonight as my boyfriend was out with friends and I really fancied a takeaway, so thought I would give the burger box a go.. I was not disappointed. I had the chicken fillet wrap with cheese, skin on fries, a drink and some halloumi fries. The chicken was lovely and the wrap all together was so nice, not greasy and tasty. The fries did come relatively cold but I didn’t mind and they were still good! The halloumi fries were yummy as well and weren’t too salty / chewy like some halloumi can be. The wrap, chips and drink came as a meal (you can order them separately if you want just a wrap etc) and was good value, especially for the food you get! I will definitely be ordering from here again - the only negative is how long it takes to get to you - took roughly an hour and 5 mins to reach me, but I did know it would take that long so was prepared to wait! Was worth it though!

Ordered food for the family on a Friday evening, the driver turned up to the wrong address, wouldn’t understand that he was at the wrong address even though he had the postcode. He was then rude to my daughter who is 14, rude to my other daughter who is 18, and when I tried to speak to him on the phone he told me if I don’t want the food I should just cancel the order and hung up on me!! I then rang the shop and they were just as rude, and kept hanging up on me. Worst customer service I have experienced would not reccommend

I didn't try all burgers but what I've eaten was extremely delicious (cheeseburger). And chips? Out of this world 😍 I recommend

Really tasty food. Got the chicken tower burger with chilli sauce for that extra kick, and some of the best chips I've ever had.

This small hidden burger house is literally a box hidden on the out skirts of Chesham Town. I wasn't expecting much but the reviews were good so it had to be worth a try. My friends and I managed to park straight outside the shop and went in to order some burgers. There was a large range and I could customize what I didn't want from my selected burger, as certain foods affect my IBS (Red Onion). Once we ordered, they said it was okay if we left the shop and then came back in ten minutes. Once we got back and got the food, the burgers were lush. The chips were amazing, one of my friends said they were the best chips he has had. Skin on potato chips. Mmm. The burgers were nicely cooked and still juicy in the middle. Well done guys!

First time i hsve tried this place one of the best burger i have had for a long while.

The food is incredible and the service excellent. What more can you say? Their wraps and chicken boxes are also best in class.

The staff are very friendly and nice, they welcomed me with smile and offered me help which fascinated me, I had Texan steak burger meal and it was soo delicious and mouth watering😋😋 as well the chips were crispy and fresh. I also had a Oreo milkshake which was very enjoyable and the taste was on point, they also maintained high food hygiene and very clean kitchen. As I experienced very good customer service as well as great food, i would highly recommend people to order their food from them. I’m sure you wouldn’t regret.
