The best restaurants serving Default food in Northgate Canterbury South East

Ordered a sushi platter for sunday collection but the kiosk wasn't staffed so why let me pay when it's not open? *Went back in the week and got it sorted. Great staff, terrible app.

Edit 29/03/2025 Placed an order nearly 2 hours ago. I just rang to (politely) ask if it's on its way and the guy said sorry but they're really busy then put the phone down on me. Not impressed. This isn't the first time they've taken ages. They used to be really good until 2 or 3 years ago but now it takes far too long to arrive. Sadly we'll have to try elsewhere in future. Edit 04/03/2024 - really annoyed. Food taken more than an hour and a half and still not here. The guy on the phone just keeps saying its on its way. He doesn't speak clearly, its not the usual guy, maybe change of ownership?. Will update when (if?) food actually arrives........well the order took nearly 2 hours - driver very apologetic and said that the other driver was off sick. Food was nice when it did arrive. Might give them another chance! Previous:- Always have a delivery from here when we have Indian food. Its always good and when they tell you how long its going to be, it does actually arrive when they say! Lovely.

Food good, delivery on time even when we are 4 miles out. Driver polite and friendly.

Very disappointed, we've been using masalagate for years. The last time we used them the chicken was crunchy and not right at all. Give the benefit of doubt as we use them regularly, but this time food was cold and the lamb was so fatty it was un chewable, some of the dishes have changed, not to the high standards it used to be, something is seriously missing. Will not be using them again I'm afraid to say.

The service here was great. The gentleman who served us was polite and engaging. The place was clean and plenty of seating.

With nectar card we do get brilliant deals! Better than Asda believe it or not.

My order is missing one item. The chicken and chips are cold. The regular chips portion size is about half full. Total rip off.

Of late you can no longer get a takeaway coffee in before work, (unless work is next door), as in their wisdom coffee is now only available from 0830, now too tight a window for some of us in Canterbury to get a decent one before we start at 9.

Ordered two sausage rolls and coffee. After I paid and picked up the rolls both were stone cold. Asked if the had hot or warm ones but said no and not offered to change. Told me they are not kept warm in the counter. Could of told me they were cold and I would have had something else. It was 1-15pm and lunch time. Are they not selling many at lunchtime???

Second time in a weak place is lovely service very good, recommend the cookie dough and the crepe, milkshake was so good too!
