Hi the delivery and everything was fine. I just wanted to let you know that the inside of my pie was burnt and black and didn't taste right, just wanted you tobbe awear for other customers.

If you’ve got a stomach for days, this is the place to go. I got some delicious doner and chips that lasted me lunch and dinner and it just cost £8.

Once was a nice chippie but now Abhorrent service, always closed, chips are low quality, rude staff and honestly a hostile environment, non consistent hours, dont recommend, go to any other fish and chip in canterbury atleast you’ll get your food

Chips literally covered in salt with no vinegar, even after asking for extra vinegar it was non existent. Completely stale chips they either don’t change their oil or cook them fresh. Chicken pukka pies were horrendous, pastry was like cardboard and the pie has literally no contents on it, probably because they have been reheated or sitting for days. Second time been here and now the last, if you want poor food then you should go to this place.

Absolutely stale chips covered in salt with no vinegar. Pukka pies were disgraceful, pastry was like cardboard and the pie filling was hardly existent. Probably because they’ve been reheated over and over or sitting there for days. My advise is to just find another chip shop or you’ll regret it.

I ordered 2 steak & kidney pies, 1 sausage and 1 battered sausage. Waited 15 mins for 2 large portions of chips to be cooked which I do not mind as least nice and fresh. Got home the chips are anemic looking and undercooked even with the wait the majority were black from the owners buying cheap potatoes. There was barely a small handful which were edible out of 2 large portions. The steak and kidney pie were cold. Again unedible as had no where to warm them up. The sausages were nice jot and cooked. Total waste of £22. I won't ever use again.

Delivery couldn’t find address I had to send my husband out to find him and the food was cold by the time we sat down to eat it.

First time getting takeaway from here as normally get one closer to home but was passing by. Order was cooked from fresh. Cod was spot on. huge portion of chips. Overall very good. Would recommend and order again 👍

Chips would feed a family of 4 for 3 days! Not good ,but were stone cold. Cut your prices and give a proper portion size. Orderd cod... got tail of haddock, but atleast it was hot. Very disappointing 😞

Every time we order from sealand the food is always hot and of good quality

Not bad food wise. Took a while to cook up but that's more my fault for the time I attended but that aside pretty good.

Driver went to Gordon road wincheap where the postcode is ct1 and I live in godden road hales place ct2 because of it being late I had to heat up the food

Food arrived stone cold, rung the restaurant up and the woman down the phones attitude was completely unprofessional, refused to do anything about it and just complain to just eat about the food, will never use again

Absolutely disgusting chips were half cooked. Meat was dry and was like eating rubber. The only thing that was ok was the fish. Just went in the bin very disappointed. I would very much appreciate a refund.

Batter was light and crispy. Chips perfectly cooked. Mushy peas delicious.

Good portions but mayo sachet was 4 months out of date - didn’t notice until it was on the food and I thought it looked weird (curdled) so loads of it now ruined

As other have said, the workers there are very disrespectful towards customers.

The shop is full of rude workers who have poor customer service skills.

We have used this fish and chip shop in the past and have been happy with it. However, the food last night was of a terrible standard. The savaloy was undercooked and cold. Medium cod was ordered and we were given 2 very small bits which was pretty much just overcooked batter with next to no fish. The donner meat was really rubbery and there was so much (which Would have been great if it was actually nice) and the mushy peas were revolting!! So disappointing as food is so expensive these days. I'm pretty sure food being served like that should get them closed now.

Bought a family dinner, all the chips were barely cooked, anemic and soggy. Called up and was refused any replacement or refund and then was hung up on. Appalling customer service and the worst chips I have ever bought. Only nice thing we got were the sausages and savaloy

Good delivery time but too many chips. Fish ok

The chips was uncooked the fish was vile the only thing that was any good was the savaloys wont buy there again

Ordered cod and chips and curry sauce and a veg pancake roll. Curry sauce was missing, however the cod was very tasty and had a lovely crisp batter and the pancake roll was delicious. Chips were okay

Worst chip shop in Kent that I have been in.the chips were rock hard and cold and the sausages where burnt and hard.even my dog turned her nose up at them.Went back to the shop and asked nicely if they wouldn't replacing them and I got refused to replace the food or give us a refund.discusting food and customer service.

Should have had 10 nuggets but only got 8 and the food looked like it had been opened

Ours was the first meal on the first day reopening, so I expected a slight decline in quality. Did not expect dry from cooking too hot and soggy from complete lack of drainage. Made us quite ill, and there was a complete lack of empathy when we told them

DONT ORDER KEBAB FROM ANY WHERE ELSE IN CANTERBURY BUT FROM HERE !!! Best kebab massive potion , so much better than any where else , I order a lot and trust me try it the best in Canterbury by far!!

Got kebab and chips it was nice but too much for a small size I'm not talking about the price,also breast of chicken feel that needed to be bigger the chips were great but too many for small portion ,but will go back again and maybe buy chips and kebab meat between us x

Sausage was horrible, sorry I could not eat it. The haddock fish was not good either, my wife couldn’t eat it after a few bits from it she didn’t like it at all. The only decent bit of our order was the quarter pounder and the chips were ok. Will not be ordering from here again. What’s happened? I’ve ordered once before and it has been ok.

The worse thing about it is the parking arrangement. But food was very tasty and made up for the traffic to get across town.

Take note all other Canterbury chip shops - THIS is how it is meant to be done. Good food, massive portion sizes, quick service, instructions followed to the letter - what more could you want!

Large cod as "big" as a fish finger which cost £10. The food was cold (deliveroo's fault). The chips were nice enough. The staff are incredibly rude and generally lack the skills to communicate with their customers. Seriously don't bother unless you're desperate!

Had regular haddock and chips today at lunchtime. Absolute joke, the fish was wafer thin and the size of two fingers, chips were luke warm and very pale in appearance. Will not visit here again.

The chips that was left over from the afternoon recooked for evening meal and the fish was so small this chip shop is not a proper fish shop appalling

The chips were awful, lots of black bits and 'eyes, looked wrinkly, we threw most of them away and the steak pie wasn't great either.

Fish and chips both freshly cooked and hot! Generous portion sizes. The only wait was the cooking time.

Never had better fish and chips anywhere, always very generous portions and polite service. I always collect myself as couriers don’t care about keeping the food warm.

The food was cooked well and the fish was very hot so cooked fresh but the chips were a bit on the cool side, probably because the delivery was made by pushbike!

Amazing food, friendly staff and good service what more can you ask for? I’m a regular here for a couple years now and have never been disappointed.

The fish was lovely and hot but the chips not so much therefore the chips got cold quickly, and the kebab, which was of a very good size, could have been hotter too.

Well, they have once again returned to producing average/good food bar one change they made and thats the donner kabab meat. Its a bit rubbery in texture and is the best way to describe it. I guess its also cheaper that the usual type of meat they used, but cheaper does not always equate with more money flowing in. The salads are fresh. They have pulled back from the brink, for how long only time will tell We dont vary much from this food so we know good when its good. I suggest they change their meat back to what it was.

Food tonight was really bad, two pies one was stone cold the other was solid, sausages so dry you couldn't swallow them and hollow fish cakes, used to get food here regularly but that's twice in a row we have had bad food, won't be going back

The fish was delicious, medium chips feed 2 not one! Would have liked more salt and vinegar as not convinced you added it but can’t mock the quality.

We had four large fish and three chips for the four of us. Needless to say there was plenty of food. The batter on the fish was truly crispy and the fish itself was melt in the mouth. The chips were plentiful and were traditional chips, well cooked. The temperature of the food was well maintained, even though we took fifteen minutes or so to get 'home' to eat.

I was missing a pot of curry sauce and a chicken and mushroom pie I want A refund otherwise i will take it further

I have just went there for a mix doner and to be honest after waiting 25 min I got my doner…meat is old so dry,staff is unqualified,and the price for a mix doner was 7.90 £…sorry guys but if I knew I would have this experience…I would’ve gone to German Doner in City Centre…I won’t be coming to you guys anymore!!!

The food was never delivered, delivery person made no attempt to locate us. One text saying they were at our address, tried to call them but to no avail, tried to find them but no sign, total disaster.
