The Korean Cowgirl at Canterbury Riverside with Cheeky Ramen in Canterbury

Came in for Lunch without booking. Daryl (our waiter) was very attentive and provided a great service. Food was incredible, arrived very quickly. We ordered the mini board, the brisket, Mac and cheese, and loaded potatoes. The ribs fell straight off the bone, brisket was moist and was divine. Overall the food was incredible, and to top it off the service was incredible. Will definitely be coming back. Big Thankyou to Daryl who made an incredible stay so much better, really made the stay something to remember.

Visited here after recommendations, it seems odd to say the restaurant offers Korean food, when the cuisine is Texan and Japanese. We had the Ramen which were fine, my husband preferred his Katsu Curry Ramen. The broth for mine felt like it lacked flavour and didn't have the richness of other ramen restaurants I have tried. The meatboards look delicious and are probably the thing to get whilst visiting. The staff were really friendly and helpful throughout the course of our meal. Would only visit here again for the meat not the 'korean' food.

The food was amazing but very over priced, the service was average at best so to charge 12.5 % on top is toppy I would not pay it and leave my own. It was my sons birthday while other people where getting happy birthday plates we was getting the bill, £4 for a coke!!! The staters are lovely but minimum £10 each and one of them was croquette potatoes with cheese on and that was loaded fries, really. We have the meat feast for 4 which was lovely the Turkey, wings and burnt ends ends are amazing but the ribs a bit tuf I’ve had better In Beefeater

The food is really tasty here and I highly recommend, however the real standout is the customer service. I wish I had got my waitresses name to thank her personally, but she honestly was such a great hostess and made us feel so welcome and cared for. We visited as a couple for my birthday, and she was so lovely making sure she fully explained the menu, gave recommendations, and then VERY kindly brought out a plate with chocolate writing which said happy birthday with some small brownies and a candle on. She then sang happy birthday to me (with another waiter who joined in) which honestly just made me really smile. The food was relatively quick, delicious, everywhere was clean and looked lovely, I honestly can't fault this restaurant at all. Thank you to the staff who made it a 10/10 experience. We will be back for sure.

I had the beef brisket for £35, which has no go withs, so added chips and a very small mac and cheese, which came to £45 in total. The brisket was dry, chewy and extremely salty. For £45 in Canterbury I’m expecting a spot on meal, which this was not!

Food was fine but upon paying the bill I was charged nearly three times the amount of my total out of staff error (presumably another tables bill) and then expected to pay again (the correct bill this time) after the wrong charge to my card was refunded. The moral of the story is that its highly impractical to lack the ability to deduct the intended bill from the amount overcharged and then refund the difference. That way the customer does not need to pay their bill as well as somebody elses amassing a total cost of nearly 250 pounds for what sould have been a 60 pound dinner for two. In all fairness mistakes happen and the sincerity of the staff was appreciated however the only party that has lost out is mine as I now have to wait 5 working days for a full refund. Im no businessman but having a system where you can return an overcharge to the customer to save them paying twice and then having to await a refund would have saved you a review. Thanks for the drink on the house but its probably the most expensive Moretti I have ever consumed. So if this ever happens to you Its for the business to rectify, save yourself paying more than you should.

Brilliant food as always. BBQ board is very tasty alongside the tator tots. Car park cheap to park. And atmosphere is great. Good music and vibe. Friendly staff and excellent service. One of our favourite restaurants

Twice now they have accepted our order only to cancel at the last minute leaving us scratching for other options. Why accept delivery orders if you’re not able to fulfil them?

Great place for dinner, the bbq board was amazing! And the tater tots are to die for!!! Staff are so attentive and friendly! And the birthday plate for my friend was a lovely touch. We already booked a family dinner for June! Cant wait!
